Chapter 3 The stalker

(2 weeks later)
Erin woke up early for her early morning routine. The fresh air that touches her skin is refreshing to start her day, and there weren't many people in the Park. Erin's morning routine, jogging, and hiking help her physical and mental health.
She stopped on a bench to drink water then she noticed a post note on the chair that read, "Good morning, Erin" she stood up and looked around to see if there were any people in the Park. But no, She just ignored what happened and continued to run in moderation.
"Miss Erin! Wait!" The boy called her with a British accent and blonde hair that she did not know was chasing her with a flower in his hand.
"Do I know you?" She stopped and asked the boy in confusion.
"No..." The boy shakes his head and gives her the beautiful bouquet.
"But your name is Erin, and I was asked to give it to you, Miss. Ciao!" The boy rapidly ran and vanished.
"Wait... Boy! Don't run." She screamed to stop the boy.
She glared and examined the bouquet to see if it had a card or something but nothing. Who is her secret admirer? Is it Nathan Evans? Impossible, or is it just a random guy out there? Then who is he?
When did she ever have a secret admirer or maybe a stalker? She always felt apprehensive because she had to be careful now, especially since she was alone living in her condo.
While walking, she passed an older woman smiling at her, and she thought of giving the beautiful flower to this pretty older woman to start her day, and nothing was wrong with that. The old woman was happy and thanked her and said, "Thank you, beautiful, have a good day! The daylight will lead you to the right person."
She wondered why the older woman had said that to her, or maybe it was just a philosophy of gratitude.
When she arrived at her condo unit, she remembered the things about it in the mansion, but she just disregarded it because someone else already owned the manor of her late parents, that's okay too, so there's no difficulty in dealing with things. She decided to take a quick bath and headed to the bathroom to wash away her disappointment.
The water dripped from her delicate and petite body.
She remembered the address where Nathan Evans Velasco lived, so she quickly took a shower to reach the man, and now she had a problem with what dress to wear for their first meeting. Her mind conflicted as to why she needed to make herself beautiful. Why not? For a good impression? her mind replied, "yes, so I can get what I want."

When she found something to wear, A backless yellow summer dress, she immediately situated herself and prepared for their exciting first meeting mixed with nervousness because she did not know what to say and what to do next. Only now has she felt like this in her whole existence.
It was 3 p.m. when she arrived at the fancy mansion of the Velasco Family. She was still really uneasy because she didn't know what to do in the next step. She rang the doorbell twice because no one answered, and the next time she rang the doorbell again. A handsome, tall, muscular man opened the gate for her, and the man with ocean blue eyes stared at her as if he had never seen a gorgeous woman before.
A minute of silence passed between them, and neither of them wanted to speak.
Erin closed her eyes and bit her lower lip so that she could think quickly about what to say, but something else was on the man's mind. He enjoyed watching the anxious woman in front of him and his eyes looking at her lips that were tasty to kiss. He can't deny that this is the first woman that makes him turn on, but he restrained himself from thinking badly.
"Who are you?" He asked in a baritone voice and sulked.
"And who are you?" Erin asked the same question. She seemed embarrassed by her behavior because she answered poorly, and she bit her lip again.
The man raised his right eyebrow, looked at her, and examined her head to toe while crossing his arms like an adviser who wants to punish his student for being late.
"Are you lost or something?" He asked in a playful voice but with a severe face.
"I want to talk to...Uh...um., I'm... Er-" She stuttered.
"You are what?" He cuts her and chuckles.
"I'm Erin Rylee, and I am here to find my long-lost husband," She scoffed sarcastically at him because she didn't like the man staring at her.
"So who's your husband?" He asked in a disappointed voice.
"His name is Nathan Evans Velasco." She finally said it.
"Your what?" He asked again because he was Nathan Evans Velasco.
He felt like the woman was joking and playing with him.
Erin bent down, took the marriage contract from her folder, and gave it to the man.
The man couldn't believe it, and his face was serious again, looking at the gorgeous woman standing in front of him. He stared at her face, but Erin felt awkward again because she was not used to glaring at any man.
And his thin lips slowly opened and closed and reread her name.
"How did you become my wife?" He asked in a severe tone.
Erin was horrified because she realized that Nathan was the one she was talking to.
"Why didn't you tell me you were Nathan!" She frowned with a disgusting face in front of this man for being an asshole.
Nathan grabbed her arm to let her in, and he accidentally sniffed the fragrant scent of the woman that had given chill to his body, and he loved it.
"Come inside my wife and let's talk about this..."
Like seriously?
