He was restless outside the cabin and neither of them wanted to talk, so he wanted to know what happened to her. "Tell me what happened?" He said and waited for her to speak but he heard nothing from her. He could tell Erin was upset because of what had happened earlier. "Are you alright?" He asked again but her answer was still nothing. Erin, on the other hand, is embarrassed to speak because she doesn't want Nathan to think she was just imagining things before; perhaps he'll call her a paranoid woman, and she is still thinking of her stalker if it's going around to stalk her, perhaps one of her common friends. She avoids thinking that because it makes her feel so unsafe and not comfortable with her life. Why is her life not normal like others? That's the question she always asks herself. "Nathan…" she speaks in a slow voice but Nathan doesn't hear what she's talking about. She just shrugged and rose from her seat. "This man is not listening…" she whispered to herself.
When the smoke cleared, Nathan considered bringing another piece of wood inside so that the two of them wouldn't get too chilly. However, the breeze was very cold, and Erin's mouth was blown out by thick smoke as a result of the cold. She followed Nathan into the cabin to sleep. She then remembered that she had no clothes because they had gone so hurriedly this morning, so she irritatedly touched her face and gave Nathan a terrible look. "I don't have clothes, What do I need to do? What's your plan huh?" Nathan stroked his neck because he had been aware of Erin's negative stares, so he pointed to the room and said, "I have clothes in the drawer, maybe you want to wear them because we'll be going home tomorrow since there's a storm coming and the street is full of ice." She pursed her lips and tried to remain cool, using her hand to simulate a cover for her burning head. Then she realized she was menstruating since she felt moist and sticky down there, making her easily agitated and moody.
"God damn hormones," she exclaimed, clenching her teeth. "Don't look at me. Don't talk to me, I'm so mad with our situation now…and this is so embarrassing." Nathan approached her with a worried expression on his face and his mouth partially open, but before he could say anything, she said,
"I'll go to the room... don't bother following me there unless I say so," she said, her tone forewarning. "Erin, just tell me if you need anything okay? I'm just outside and just yell my name. I'm...I'm so worried about you." She bite her lips while hearing those words from Nathan, somehow she's happy about it but now she blames this man for not having a sanitary napkin, but Nathan still followed her and saw her blood in her back and said, "I know you're bleeding so don't worry there's a sanitary napkin in the bathroom," which she frowned at because no one lives here. "I used to relax here, and I used to bring women here, therefore there are women's accessories," Nathan murmured something awkward, "so you were bringing girls here before?" and then she slammed the door shut with a loud crash. Nathan mutters to himself, "fuck...what did I do?"
When the phone rang in the living room, he quickly approached it and took the phone to answer it. He frowned as he heard a mirthless laugh on the other end of the line and wondered who it was. "Wait, who the fuck is this?" His voice is rough and slightly low.
"Oh, come on, man! it's me. Alas. "
In a plummy voice, Alas said.
When he heard Alas' voice, he rubbed his temples and cackled. They haven't spoken in three years, but because he needs its assistance, he is forced to contact it and find out where it lives. "Alas? Did you get my message?"
"Yes…" Alas responded and paused for a moment before clearing his throat and adding his statement. "I'm closely associated with Frederick, the masochistic and psychopathic man who tortured women." On hearing his friend say this, Nathan cursed quietly to himself. He was unhappy with individuals like Frederick, and he thought about Erin because what if Frederick was successful in getting the woman of his dreams?
"So, are you supposed to be able to serve me? How I abhor wanting to seek assistance!" he said as he leaned against the wall.
"Of course, I'd be happy to assist you; however, I'd like to recoup the money you provided me when I didn't have any of my own. because that's what friends are for! I also want to get rid of Frederick, who is cancer on society." Alas calmly said.
Nathan paused when he heard the shower stop in the room, so he slowed down the pronunciation of the word while Alas was still on the phone, waiting for an answer.
"For the sake of the Raylee family's embezzled funds, I want you to settle with him, and I'll pay you Two Hundred Million Dollars to put an end to his harassment of Raylee's daughter," he said lowering his voice so no one can hear him, especially Erin.
"This is the first time that I've seen you show such a deep devotion to a lady that you are willing to sacrifice anything for her. As a consequence, I'm reluctant to fall in love since it's ridiculous." Alas said in a serious tone.
"She's my life bro, goodbye for now. Just update when you have news." He said and hung up. He walked to his desk after their discussion and tapped his fingers on the table, earnestly considering what would happen next; he didn't tell Erin until he had resolved all the problems. He will ensure that everything is in order.
When Erin was finished tidying herself up, she went to the drawer to get a pair of socks and took a white thick polo shirt and warm pants and then put them on and her feet were trembling due to the cold, "winter season..oh yeah." She mumbled to herself and then she remembered the heater in the cabin and yelled for Nathan to enter the room, then requested him at the same time saying "can you turn on the heater please?" she said softly. He immediately obeyed the woman telling him to turn on the heater, and then he grabbed Erin's arm without asking to pull her to his chest and tried to kiss her softly once more. He thought back to their first kiss, and this was the second time they kissed and sweeter than before. During their passionate kiss, Erin only realized she was savoring it though, and she even started moaning in the middle of that as well. "N-Nathan… stop it." She said while Nathan is still kissing her and touching her hips but she pulls away and starts to think of what she's going to say. He stares at her and doesn't want to let go of her body because Erin's body feels so soft and warm. He wants this woman in his life and he was sure about that. "Nathan, please...I need some time to think…" She said this as she got out of the room and went outside and started walking to the car when she saw another car coming on her way. A tall man nearing her spat at her, and she also backed away. "Who are you?" she asked, her vocal quivering, but the guy stopped walking towards her and responded by saying, "Erin... It's me, Luke." She was caught off guard by how close it was to where she and Nathan were.
"Luke, what have you been doing here?" she said, surprised to see Luke in the middle of the night.
"We are so worried about you, I mean the people in the mansion were looking at you and Nathan…" He replied with a toneless voice and he inched forward to her but Erin moved backward, her instinct telling her to move backward.
"How did you know we were here?" she softly said while hugging herself because it's freezing outside and Luke moved closer to her and she was a little bit uneasy.
Erin shoved her hair back away from her face, the wind was going strong. Luke touches her hand to make her feel warm then she gives an awkward smile then they begin to walk into his car.
"I'm familiar with this location, and Nathan and I used to bring our friends here. Do you want to go home with me?" She was encouraged and decided to go home with Luke because she didn't want to talk to Nathan right now and was embarrassed to face him because of their earlier kiss. "I'm coming with you, take me," she said in a croaky voice.
"Erin...stop what you're thinking. You are not going anywhere without me." A strong and manly voice attacked her from behind.
She deliberately turned her head and it was Nathan. "Go back inside, you're freezing." He said in an authoritative tone and he glanced at Luke.
"She's coming with me...you don't have a right to decide," Luke said firmly.
Nathan's face had darkened and he was staring intensely at Luke; if only Nathan's glare had been lethal, Luke would have died long ago. Erin was aware that Nathan was enraged, so she interfered between the two and simultaneously exclaimed "okay, I'm coming in!" and swiftly headed into the cabin, leaving the two. The two only did one thing: they followed Erin.
"Luke, come inside and we need something important to discuss," he said as he invited Luke inside.
Luke was envious of Nathan's ability to simply tame Erin when he didn't even have a chance because Erin's father kept the door shut for him. He shook his head, knowing it wasn't proper for him to find a way to marry Erin and spend his life with her.
However, he is the type of man who will not give up until he has what he wants, so whether things go well or not, he will get his wish.
She softly murmured, "I'll get you a cup of tea," as she studied the two good-looking men in the living room. Nathan simply nodded and sat in his swivel chair, while Luke sat calmly on the sofa. "Thanks, Erin…" Luke said, smiling at her and she smiled back.
Erin walked away from the two and went to the kitchen, wondering why the two couldn't get along if they were friends or if maybe she didn't know something she should know. she merely sighed and started making a cup of tea with cleansed hands.
