Chapter 215 The Best Help Comes to Do Her Job
But she no longer had that piece of paper on her dresser now... It seemed that she had sketched on the back of that piece of paper...
Oh!
Teresa stared at Hubert, who was asleep. The piece of paper he had accidentally destroyed was not just her drawing, but also their agreement. No, to be precise, it was her copy of the agreement that was destroyed. He must have kept his copy as Holy Writ.
She poked Hubert's face with her finger. Since he didn't respond, Teresa poked him again and said, "You inadvertently destroyed mine, but you still have yours. It's not fair. I am insecure now."
'Should I steal his copy and destroy it?' Teresa thought to herself.
In that case, it would be fair. If no one had the agreement, no one would be bounded. She could also feel more at ease.
Teresa felt it was difficult as she thought about the fact that she had no access to his room. Then how should she steal his copy and destroy it?
'Get him drunk?'
'Knock him out?'
'Or, seduce him?'
Teresa thought of various ways, but she vetoed them all in the end. She thought it was better to wait for a chance.
Teresa thought she would have to wait a long time before she could get into Hubert's room, but she had a good chance at night.
Vivian arrived unexpectedly. After she went to the hotel with Chad for dinner, she didn't go to Teresa's store right away. She rested at the hotel until 9:00 at night. Then she called Chad and asked him to send her to Florence Garden.
At ten o'clock at night, Vivian stood at the door of Hubert's house with her suitcase. She rang the doorbell.
"Who is it? Coming."
Linda responded and came over to open the door.
When she opened the door and saw that it was Vivian, Linda was surprised, "Madam Donovan, what are you doing here?"
"Hubert and Teresa are not home?"
"They are on their way back. I came back first."
Every evening, after Leila picked up Andy after work, Linda no longer had to stay in the store.
Linda helped Vivian carry her suitcase into the house and asked, "Madam Donovan, what are you doing?"
"From tonight on, I'm staying here. Linda, don't call me Madam Donovan when Teresa is around. How did Hubert recommend you to Teresa?"
Linda closed the door of the house and then led Vivian inside, answering, "Young Master Hubert said I was Young Master Ernest's nanny."
"Then we should be acquaintances. Be careful with the way you address me."
Linda laughed, "I'll remember that."
"Madam Donovan, have a seat. 'll get you a glass of water."
Vivian gave an "um". But she didn't sit down. Instead, she wandered around the house. At last, she stopped in front of Hubert's room. She reached out to twist the door handle of his room and found the door was locked. She muttered something that Linda couldn't hear.
Wandering back to the couch, Vivian sat down and asked, "They still sleep in different rooms?"
"Yes. Young Master Hubert keeps his room door locked for fear of Young Madam Teresa getting in."
"That brat!"
Vivian cursed.
No wonder Teresa said that even if she was willing to pounce on him and strip him naked, she couldn't manage to kiss him. 'Just look at his arrogant look, no one would be able to kiss him.' Vivian thought.
"The relationship between Young Master Hubert and Young Madam Teresa will definitely go further if you come to help them personally, Madam Donovan. According to my observation these days, they have feelings for each other. But not enough feelings. Young Master Hubert has taken the initiative. However, Young Madam Teresa is a little afraid and also a bit slow in love. I guess she doesn't feel safe enough."
"Tess does not feel secure enough because Hubert is not doing enough."
Vivian sighed, "That kid is slow in relationships. I think the progress is good now. I thought it would take another year or so to get him to face his feelings. I'm really worried."
She did have a good life. When her husband was alive, she had a good life with her husband. When they got older, they had a large family. All of their children and grandchildren were filial. And their grandsons were all raised very well. The only thing that made Vivian worried was her grandsons' marriage.
Except for Hubert, Vivian had eight grandsons. However Hubert alone had made her worry enough.
Before her husband died, he had analyzed their nine grandsons with her. Her husband said that Hubert would be the most filial one, yet the one who she had to worry about the most. And her husband told her that if she didn't make the decision for Hubert's marriage, Hubert might be single for a lifetime.
Now it seemed that her husband's analysis was right.
"Madam Donovan, love and relationship can't be rushed. It's an important thing in life. A good marriage should last a lifetime. If one takes the rush and doesn't see through another person, like Leila, it will be a waste of time and too costly, although divorce is not a problem now."
At that time, the sound of the door opening was heard outside.
"Young Master Hubert and Young Madam Teresa are back."
Vivian reminded Linda, "Watch the way you address them."
Linda nodded vigorously.
When Hubert and Teresa opened the door and came in, they saw Linda watching TV with Vivian.
"Mr. Donovan. Ms. Heller. Welcome home."
Linda got up and said with a smile, "Mr. Donovan, your grandmother is here."
"Grandma."
Teresa walked over, "Grandma, you're home already. I was just saying to Hubert that I didn't see you in my store."
"I was afraid of disturbing you in your store, so I let Chad send me here directly."
Among the Donovan family, Teresa knew Vivian the best.
The two of them were just like biological grandmother and granddaughter. They had endless conversations, which made Hubert jealous.
Teresa didn't have so many conversations with him.
'Did Grandma come to steal Teresa from me?' Hubert thought to himself.
"Oh, gosh!"
Teresa suddenly remembered something and slapped Hubert's lap, saying, "Hubert, there are only three rooms in our house that have beds. Where will Grandma sleep tonight?"
When she bought the bedding for Ms. Lawson, she should have bought an extra bed to put in the other guest room.
Well, here came Vivian. But they had nothing prepared.
Hubert looked at her hand which had slapped his lap and then looked at his grandmother.
He told his grandmother that she should go to Teresa's store after lunch. However, she came to Florence Garden directly. When he and Teresa went back, it was already late. The guest room was not ready, so she had to share a bed with Teresa.
Hubert dared to say that his grandmother would kick Teresa out of the room.
He knew it! As long as his grandmother lived here, she would want nothing more than to let him and Teresa sleep together.
Vivian said, "Tess, I'll share your bed."
"Grandma, I would like to share my bed with you if you don't mind."
Vivian laughed, "I'm just afraid that you don't want an old woman to stay in your room."
"Don't be ridiculous, Grandma. I'll help you take the suitcase in."
Teresa got up and helped Vivian drag the suitcase into her room.
Vivian got up and followed Teresa. When she stood up, she glared at her grandson. Hubert understood Vivian's signal.
He held his face taut and didn't say a word.
After Vivian entered the room, neither she nor Teresa came out again. Hubert sat for a moment, then got up and went back to his room.
Linda was the last one to go back to her room. And she locked her door so that Teresa could not open her door and come in to share her bed in the middle of the night.
Hubert locked his door first. But after taking a few steps, he stopped and frowned for a while. Then, he came back and unlocked the door.
