Chapter 213 Step by Step Into Her World 
Chad took Vivian downstairs, and they were going to the hotel for lunch. 
Chad was sharp-eyed and saw Teresa as soon as he got out of the office building. 
"Grandma, now I understand why my elder brother asked me to take you to lunch." 
He pointed to the gate of the company and said to his grandmother, "My sister-in-law is here, and she is carrying a thermos lunch box to deliver food to my brother." 
No wonder Hubert asked him to take their grandma away in a hurry. It turned out that Hubert didn't want a third wheel. 
Vivian paused, narrowed her eyes, and looked at Teresa for a long time before saying, "It's really Tess. Call your elder brother and ask him to go to another office. Let him go to your office, and don't let Tess know." 
Chad said yes and called Hubert. 
Hubert knew that Teresa was coming before Chad called him. 
He had a telescope in his drawer. After seeing off his grandma, he stood in front of the window with the telescope and looked down. When Teresa's car arrived, he put the telescope back and hurried downstairs. 
Chad drove out with Vivian. 
He stopped the car at the gate of the company and rolled down the window to greet Teresa. 
"Grandma, Chad." 
Teresa walked over with a smile and asked, "Grandma, why are you here?" 
Vivian deliberately put on an upset face and said, "It's a long story, Tess. I'll go to lunch first because I'm starving. I'll talk to you in the evening." 
"What happened? Alright, grandma, go to lunch first." 
"Teresa, I'll take grandma to lunch. My elder brother is still in the office. Call him, and he will come out to pick you up." 
Chad drove his grandmother away after speaking. 
After driving for a while, he smiled and said, "Fortunately, I drive this car to work every day. If some day Teresa come to the company and find that I drive a luxury car. If she suspects Hubert because of me, Hubert will teach me a terrible lesson." 
"His cover will be blown any time now." 
Vivian said, "I'd like to see how he'll wind this matter up. Chad, don't learn from Hubert." 
"I think it's fun. Only by hiding his identity can he know whether Teresa loves him or his status." 
Vivian was silent. 
Their family was so rich that many gold diggers wanted to get close to them. 
After watching Vivian and Chad leave, Teresa wanted to call Hubert, but Hubert had come out. 
"Mr. Donovan." 
Teresa walked forward with the insulated lunch box. 
Hubert had been busy for a whole morning, and he managed to stay awake after drinking two cups of coffee, so he was very tired. However, when he saw Teresa walking towards him with a smile, he suddenly felt that all the tiredness was worth it. 
"Are you off work?" 
Hubert nodded. "I got off work just now." 
Teresa looked around. Many people came out of the office building, and she felt like she was in a crowded station during the Christmas holiday. 
Those people were all elites in the workplace. 
Teresa had never worked in a company. Seeing that those elites wore the same suits and looked capable and well-experienced, she was a little envious. Of course, she preferred her present job because she could be footloose. 
"The food is newly made. Eat it when it's still hot." 
Teresa handed Hubert the insulated lunch box. "Do you want to eat in your office or my car?" 
Hubert reached out to get the insulated lunch box and looked at her at the same time. 
"I'll have no appetite if I eat alone." 
"I've had lunch." 
Teresa instinctively replied. After thinking for a while, she said, "Why don't I accompany you to eat? I will go back when you finish eating." 
Hubert's eyes lit up. "Go to my office." 
Teresa took another look at the crowd and asked tentatively, "I'm not a member of your company. Can I go in?" 
"It's okay if I take you in." 
He reached out to Teresa. Teresa hesitated for a moment and gave her hand to him. 
Holding her hand, Hubert smiled, but Teresa didn't notice it. 
Carrying the insulated lunch box Teresa had personally delivered in one hand and holding Teresa's hand in the other, he walked in under everyone's astonished and inquisitive gazes. 
"Mr. Donovan." 
"Mr. Donovan." 
Everyone greeted Hubert respectfully when they saw him. 
They smiled and nodded at Teresa as a greeting. They were more curious about who Teresa was. 
Since Hubert held her hand and took her in, she must be the person Hubert liked. 
By the way, when did Hubert have a girlfriend? 
Hubert really kept it a secret. If they were not lucky enough to see it today, they couldn't believe that Hubert would have a girlfriend. No wonder Miss Lisbon didn't come here to wait for Hubert anymore. Maybe she had known that Hubert was in a relationship. 
Although Miss Lisbon was a little capricious and unreasonable, she was from a rich family. It was understandable that she was proud and didn't want to compete with others for a man. 
Someone wanted to use his mobile phone to take pictures of Hubert holding Teresa's hand, but was stopped. 
"Are you crazy? How dare you take pictures of Mr. Donovan secretly!"

Hubert would know it even if they took pictures of Hubert secretly because Mr. Swan was known as the master of intelligence. Mr. Swan was very percipient. 
Hubert could know everything he wanted to know. 
Teresa did not know this. She was pulled into the office building by Hubert and was shocked by how grand the Donovan Group was. 
When Hubert led her into his office, she noticed the words 'Vice President's Office' on the door. Only then did she know Hubert's position in the Donovan Group. 
After the door of the office was closed, she said to Hubert, "You always talked about how ordinary your position was in the company, and you seldomly had the chance to meet the boss. When I came in, I found that this is the vice president's office. You're too modest and keep a low profile." 
"This is not my office." 
Hubert was used to lying, so he didn't look uneasy at all. 
He went to the sofa in the reception area and sat down. When Teresa followed him, he explained, "This is my superior's office. The big cubicle office that I just passed through is where I work. You brought me food, didn't you? I was afraid that you would be uncomfortable watched by others, so I borrowed the office from my superior." 
His words were partly true and partly false. 
It was true that the office was not his. 
Chad was his superior, which was a lie. 
Teresa believed what he said, sat down opposite him, and said with a smile, "I won't feel uncomfortable. They can look at me if they want. I'm confident in my appearance." 
"They all call you Mr. Donovan and are very polite to you."
