Vivian dragged her suitcase straight to the sofa, sat down, and said, "Hubert, I want to move to you and Tess's house."
Hubert said with a straight face, "Grandma, you promised me..."
"I won't make trouble. What are you nervous and worried about?"
Vivian retorted and then said reasonably, "I was driven out of the house by your father and uncle. Now I'm driven into a corner, so I turn to my grandson, can't I? Do you want to learn from your father and uncle and drive me out of your house?"
"Alas, old people are hated. I'm driven away no matter where I go. What's the use of raising my sons and grandson? It's better to have a granddaughter."
Hubert said with a gloomy and helpless face, "Grandma, it was impossible for my father and uncle to drive you out."

"Grandma, you haven't had lunch, right? I'll get off work in five minutes. Go find Chad and ask him to take you to lunch."
Vivian asked him, "What's wrong? Won't you eat? Or will you eat in Teresa's shop? Can I follow you?"
"You want to have a great-granddaughter as soon as possible, don't you? If you always follow me as the third wheel, you won't have a great-granddaughter in a few years."

Vivian took out her mobile phone and said to Hubert, "Hubert, say it again and speak louder. Let me record it and listen to it when I'm free. I want to verify that I heard it right."
Hubert was speechless.
Vivian glanced at his foot and asked, "Does your foot hurt?"
Hubert had a straight face and didn't speak.
"We haven't seen each other for a few days, Hubert. Why do I think your face is gloomier now? Who makes you so angry?"

"A man once told me that he would never get jealous and chase after his wife! Hubert, do you know who the man was?"

Vivian changed the topic after she laughed to her heart's content. "Isn't Sophie waiting for you there?"
"She won't pester me again."
Sophie didn't come to the company to wait for Hubert these two days.
She told Teresa that as long as Hubert had a girlfriend or got married, she would never pester him again.
It made Hubert think better of Sophie.
Sophie would not ruin his marriage in the name of pursuing true love. This willful rich lady was better than many people in this respect.
"Has she known about the relationship between you and Teresa?"
"No. I just showed her my left hand, and she gave up wisely."
Vivian laughed. "Do you think your left hand is important? You showed your left hand and she gave up. Why didn't you do that earlier?"
Hubert silently took out the gold ring he always took with him, put it on his left ring finger, and shook it at Vivian.
Vivian was stunned.
"Grandma, I'll ask Chad to come up and take you to lunch. Remember to take your suitcase with you. After lunch, you can ask Chad to take you to Teresa's shop."
Vivian want to say something, and Hubert added, "Grandma, Chad is not young anymore. Don't always urge me to have a child. I'm married and I have a wife, but Chad is still single. Don't you need to divert your attention? Or Chad will always say you are biased."
Vivian curled her lips and said, "I haven't chosen a girlfriend for him yet. When I take fancy to some girls, none of your brothers can stay single."
"You don't need to ask Chad to come upstairs. I'll find him myself."

Hubert informed Chad and asked Chad to pick up Vivian.
