Chapter 201 Don't laugh at him
Finishing the two classes in the afternoon, Jane came out of Wright' house and called Justin, "I'm done, where are you?"
"I'm in the Rhine Garden," answered Justin.
"You have already arrived? Then wait at the door for a while. I'll go back right away," said Jane.
She thought that Justin was waiting for her at the door, but just as she returned to the community, she vaguely heard a voice from somewhere, "Hey."
Jane looked for him according to the sound. It was still the same voice, "Hey, here, here."
Turning around, Jane raised her eyes to look upstairs, and finally saw the familiar face in a familiar location, on a familiar balcony.
On the balcony of 202, building 1, Justin put his arms on the fence and smiled at her at his leisure .
Jane stood downstairs, raised her head and looked up. After a few seconds, she asked, "What are you doing there?"
Justin had waited for the words for a day and a night. With the corners of his lips twitched, he replied, "It's my new home. I'm enjoying the joy of housewarming, and you are my first guest here. What do you think? Am I friendly enough?"
Jane was speechless for a while. No wonder he was in a bad mood yesterday morning, but so radiant now just like he had hit the jackpots.
Justin was very happy to see the surprise and helplessness on her face. He said with a smile, "Come up, don't need to be told where the door opens, right?"
Jane pursed her lips and said nothing. Then she walked towards the door.
While Jane was taking the elevator upstairs, Justin leaned against the door and waited for her. As soon as the elevator door opened, he said with a half-smile, "Welcome to my new home."
Not surprised, Jane replied, "It should be 'welcome to visit the old place again'."
Two Teacup Poodles wagged their tails in front of Jane. She bent down, picked up both of them with two hands, and walked inside.
She had only moved out for a few days, and the place was hardly changed, except for the clothes hanging on the hangers at the door, the slippers she wore, and the two soft puppies in her hands.
"Do you live here alone?" asked Jane.
"No, with my uncle Edward," answered Justin.
"In ancient times, Mencius's mother moved three times for his study, and now, your uncle moves from his mansion to a much smaller house. You should be considerate of his good intentions, " said Jane half-jokingly and half-seriously.
Having seen their villa on the hills in the suburbs, she knew clearly how wronged they were here. While being emotional, Jane also wanted to laugh. Poor parents in the world!
Justin replied swiftly, "Without your words, I will support him and carry out the funerary duties when I grow up."
Hearing this, Jane couldn't help twitching her lips and said, "You are so filial. Edward must be moved to cry if he hears it."
Edward was just in his twenties, while someone was ready to shoulder the responsibility for his funeral.
They chatted for a while. And then, Jane walked into the kitchen, where the table was filled with newly bought oil, salt, sauce and vinegar as well as large shopping bags. Even the ovens, microwaves, and other home appliances were repurchased.
Justin was not afraid of Jane's scrutiny. He said confidently, "Just look at it, there is just something that you can't imagine, but nothing that I can't buy."
After all, he had been with her for so long, and he knew clearly about the goods of cooking.
Casually flipping through the bags, Jane saw chickens, ducks, fish and shrimps in it. "Well done."
"It's nothing. You always say that I have no talent in this area. I'm not good at cooking, but it's easy for me to buy something."
While Justin being proud, Jane reached out and opened the cabinet door below. Without blinking, she said, "Come here."
"What's wrong?"
Justin walked over and looked down. The clean cabinet was spotless inside.
"Look," said Jane.
Justin was puzzled and looked sideways at her. "What do you want me to see?"
"I supposed that you bought invisible bowls and chopsticks, and I was the only one who couldn't see it," replied Jane.
Hearing this, Justin's eyes changed immediately. God, he even bought the seasoning box, but forgot to buy the plate and bowl.
Jane would like to disappoint as well as praise him. While shaking her head, she sighed, "When the food is ready, we can eat it with a rice cooker and a wok."
Justin couldn't stand it and immediately said, "Stay here and make some preparations, I'll go out to buy it."
"Nope, you can prepare it at home. I'll buy it," answered Jane.
Justin would like to say "Let's go together", but after thinking, he accepted the punishment to stay at home and prepare the vegetables.
Putting on her shoes, Jane went out, stood at the entrance and waited for the elevator, which just rose to the second floor and stopped. When the door opened, the people inside and the one outside looked at each other, both surprised for a moment.
Jane spoke first, "Hello, Mr. Smith."
Edward stepped out and replied, "Why are you here?"
What he wanted to ask was, why are you here rather than in the room.
"Justin invited me to come here for dinner. But he forgot to buy plates and chopsticks, so I will go out to buy some," explained Jane carefully.
"It turned out that she wasn't going to leave," thought Edward, who pushed back to open the elevator and said, "Let's go."
He went in with her. Looking at this, Jane asked tentatively, "Aren't you going home?"
"I'll go and buy it with you," answered Edward.
"No need..." said Jane in a hurry.
"Justin keeps bothering you every day. But you are only paid for the normal class, with no duty to cook for him nor run errands for him."
"It doesn't matter, since I also have to eat, and it's interesting to have a company with him," said Jane.
"Thank you," replied Edward suddenly.
Jane was stunned for a moment, and then quickly said, "It's me who should thank you."
The elevator stopped directly to the underground. Edward would get the car, so they two were one after the other. Jane couldn't see the expression on his face, but only heard his words, "We've known each other for so long that you don't have to be so estranged."
After they got into the car, Edward asked, "Where to buy it?"
Jane originally planned to walk to the vegetable market, but since she had got into the car, she had no choice but to choose a supermarket where the parking lot was available. Along the way, they kept silent without any suitable topic to chat.
The car being parked, they entered into the supermarket. Edward had never been to such a place before, but he had still heard it from Justin for a few times. Following Jane, Edward watched her go to an assistant, open her wallet and take out ten dollars. Although he didn't know why she suddenly did that, Edward reached out to stop her, then opened his wallet, took a hundred yuan and handed it over.
The assistant suddenly changed his expression, and looked up at Edward with a meaningful look in his eyes, which seemed to mock that Edward was pretending to be rich.
Edward didn't get it, but he saw the sarcasm in the assistant's eyes. Just as he was about to be displeased, Jane quickly explained, "The shopping cart here needs a coin to be taken away. I am asking for change, and it is kind of difficult to change a large amount."
Saying that, she smiled and handed ten dollars to the staff. The man took it, but still said sarcastically, "Is it because you have never been to a supermarket or you are too rich, with the change all being one hundred?"
Edward was always be authoritative, with no one dared to ridicule him, and even in front of him. With a slightly sullen face, he planned to endure it, not wanting to haggle with such a person here. However, Jane, who was still smiling a second ago, suddenly turned hostile and asked seriously, "How could you behave like that? "
The man looked at her, as if he didn't understand. With the sarcastic expression remained, he made a sound, "Ah?"
"Please remember you are working. Don't put any personal feelings on it. I give you a small amount for your convenience. But if I give you a large amount, you still have to change it. So just change the money, it's not necessary to make trouble," said Jane unsmilingly.
The man was taken aback by what Jane said. He wanted to make fun of Edward, but was stunned to see Jane change her attitude so quickly.
Seeing that he was at a loss for words, Jane took the exchanged coin, turned her head to the side and said, "Mr. Smith, let's go."
Edward was suddenly in a good mood, even a little satisfied.
