Chapter 150 Make Fun of Edward
Feeling drowsy, Edward heard Justin's faint voice, "Uncle Edward."
Edward opened his burning eyes and noticed Justin, who was carrying a large tray and standing at the bedside. Due to the stuffy nose, Edward saw an 8-inch-sized sesame cake instead of smelling it.
Edward thought of Jane at once, wondering, "Did she come?"
Justin put the cake aside. There was also a cup of milk, some dishes, and omelets on the tray. Edward confirmed his thought after noticing the food in the corner of his eyes.
Justin said, "Uncle Edward, please sit up and have some."
Justin came over to help Edward. Edward propped himself up and put a pillow on his back.
Justin asked, "Uncle Edward, which do you want first, milk or cake?"
Edward put on a light expression and asked, "Who made this?"
Justin said, "I made it."
Edward stared at Justin without blinking, and Justin did the same, saying, "Yes, I made it. Bad Teacher is busy and can't come here today, so just now she taught me through FaceTime downstairs."
Edward knew whether Justin was lying or not at once, and Jane really didn't come here.
Edward said, "We have our own cook at home. Why do you always ask her for help?"
Edward looked away, and his voice was indifferent and calm.
Justin said, "You only like the cakes that she makes, and you don't eat the ones made at home."
Edward said, "I didn't give her extra money for doing these things. If you repeatedly ask her for help, she will also be annoyed even if she doesn't say anything."
Justin replied to him, "No, she won't."
Edward said in a deeper voice, "Do you know what she is thinking? You are not her."
Justin said, "You are not her either, so how do you know what is thinking?
Edward said without expression, "You treat her on your side, but she may not think so. She just comes here and teaches you to make money."
Justin stared at Edward, and after a moment, he asked, "Did you fight?"
Edward didn't move or blink, and he replied to Justin after three seconds, "Is there any possibility or situation that I will fight with her?"
Justin said, "Then why are you unhappy?"
Edward said, "I'm not unhappy, and I just want to tell you that if she takes the money, she not only has to teach you well but also she needs to keep a good relationship with you. Don't misunderstand that you are close, and you can ask her to do everything. She may feel annoyed in her heart, but she won't tell you."
Edward told Justin seriously. Justin knew that Edward only used this tone to talk when he determined something was absolutely true.
After a long time of silence, Justin said softly, "She just repeatedly told me not to add too much sugar in the cake and not too much salt in the dishes. She also asked me to tell you to smoke less. You'd better take several injections because by doing so, you will recover sooner. If she doesn't help me sincerely, are these words only perfunctory?"
Justin was really confused, so he seriously asked Edward. Hearing Justin's words, Edward couldn't refute him at the time.
They kept silent. Thankfully, they had been together for a long time, so they wouldn't feel awkward, and it so happened that Edward's phone rang. It was Vincent.
Justin handed the phone to Edward, and Edward picked up the call.
Edward said, "Hello?"
Vincent asked, "What did you do to her last night? Did you make her unable to get out of bed?"
Getting through the call and hearing Vincent's annoying voice, Edward frowned and looked at Justin who was standing aside. Edward said, "You can leave me alone."
Justin stared at him, and Edward said, "I'll eat it later."
Justin said, "Then I'll come over to check in an hour."
Justin left the room after speaking. Vincent asked on the phone, "Who are you talking to, Jane Cooper?"
Noticing Justin had left the room, Edward said with a long face, "Did you crash your head when you opened the car door?"
Vincent cheerfully said, "Don't feel embarrassed. Tell me now. Did you have a good time last night?"
Before Edward answered, Vincent imagined what had happened in his mind and said, "Come on! Last night, I didn't see you for a while, and you just started doing it! I thought you didn't like her before, but it seemed that you're just saying."
The more Edward listened, the angrier he became. He said with a black face, "Have you never seen a woman before, or have you never slept with a woman before?"
Vincent observed something wrong, so he didn't make fun and asked, "What happened?"
Edward kept silent for a while and said in a cold voice, "She was drugged by someone."
Hearing the word 'drugged', Vincent, who went to nightclubs many times, immediately froze and asked, "Last night? Who did it?"
Edward was very anxious and said, "I don't fu*king know who did it. I've already asked people to go to the villa to investigate."
If Jane was really drugged in the villa, there must be something left there.
Vincent thought for a while, and after a while, he asked Edward, "Then, did you do something to her on earth?"
Edward was silent. Vincent said in surprise, "What? I think you must hate her, or would you do nothing to her even if she acted like that?"
After carefully thinking, Vincent concluded, "Do you have any disability?"
Edward not only felt speechless but also disgusted. He didn't know how to explain it to Vincent. He neither was impotent, nor he was a perfect gentleman. However, it was Jane who was still a bit sober. She didn't want to sleep with Edward, struggling and beating.
Edward didn't want to tell Vincent the truth, and he could only say, "I am not you. I don't have hobbies like you."
Vincent was about to cry, saying, "I just heard from Henry that Jane is busy today, and she can't play with them. My initial reaction is that you are such a scum that what happened last night must make her exhausted. But what you said makes me feel that you were just watching her being horny. Are you a man?"
Vincent's question 'are you a man' was a pun. If Edward didn't help Jane, he wasn't a responsible man; if Edward could stand, he wasn't a normal man.
Edward frowned and said in a deep voice, "Cut the crap. If you have nothing, just go away."
Vincent laughed and said, "Hold on. I really have something."
Edward said, "Say it."
Vincent asked, "Do you know what Henry said to me last night after leaving the villa?"
Edward was silent, and he even didn't want to be perfunctory.
Vincent said, "Henry asked me if I liked Jane, and he wanted Jane to be his sister-in-law."
Edward was still silent. Vincent said while laughing, "Last night I saw you hugging her tightly and feeling her up. Although you didn't do something to her then, I would still feel strange in the future if she became my wife. Forget it. I won't date her because of you."
Edward said, "Don't tell others this ridiculous story."
Vincent said, "Why? Are you afraid of damaging your reputation or hers?"
The answer was obvious. Edward never cared about his reputation, and he also didn't have a reputation.
Edward said, "I have nothing to do with her. If you still want her to be Henry's tutor, keep your mouth shut."
The more serious Edward was, the more immodest Vincent would be. Vincent said, "Hey, I think there's something wrong with you. Are you annoyed or regretful that you didn't do something to her?"
Edward directly hang up and casually threw the phone aside. He had sulked for a long time, but he would never admit what Vincent said. He was angry not because he didn't sleep with Jane.
Edward thought, "She is just an ordinary woman. I may not look at her if she begs him. I can still find other women."
