Chapter 120 A Bad Guy

Chapter 120 A Bad Guy
Edward didn't sleep last night because he knew that he had to get up early, and he couldn't fall asleep under pressure. If he couldn't sleep, he would get irritable. When he was irritable, he would lose his temper easily. What would he do when losing his temper? Naturally, he would teach people a lesson.
The group of people who fled in front of Moonshadow yesterday thought they were lucky enough to escape, but it was only a matter of time for them pay the price.
At two o'clock in the morning, Edward was watching a video, sitting in a private room in Moonshadow, with a long row of people standing in front of him. There was no more space in the first row, so some people simply stood in the second row.
These people were all captured in the video. Some participated in the fight, some came to help, and the most innocent ones were those who heard the news and came to watch what was going on. The on-lookers all stood in the outer circle at that time and didn't know why they would be seen by Edward.
Anyone who was not passers-by and had some relationships in this circle was here now.
Everyone was standing, and only Edward was sitting. He had been watching the video over and over again, for no less than twenty times.
Everyone looked nervous, especially several women.
Finally, Edward put down the phone, lit a cigarette, and said, "Tell me, did you bully my tutor because you hate me?"
In the huge private room, everyone was quiet and hardly dared to breathe.
Edward said, "What do you mean by not speaking? You tacitly admit?"
Who would dare to admit hating Edward? Someone in the crowd denied it in a low voice, "No..."
Edward said, "No? Then you hit my tutor in front of my tea house. Why don't you just slap me? That's more exciting."
The women in the front row bowed their heads with pale faces. Edward glanced at them and called them one by one, "Monica."
Monica was the first to call Beth and sent her the text message that she saw Edward and Jane having dinner together. Hearing Edward's words, she couldn't help getting agitated and looked up.

Edward looked at her coldly, "I was asking you, do you hate me?"
Monica shook her head unblinkingly.
Edward said, "Then you hate Jane?"
Monica continued to shake her head, and she was so frightened that she could hardly breathe.
Edward dropped the cigarette ashes and squinted slightly. "That's weird. I hate making trouble for no reason the most. If you have a grudge against the two of us, I can understand what you did, but you have neither resentment nor grudge... Did you deliberately pick a fight?"
Monica still didn't speak and just shook her head, with her eyes filled with tears.
Edward frowned lightly, "Don't pretend to be the victim here. Why did you put on a fierce look when bullying people and now are you dumb?"
Monica lowered her head and burst into tears.
Edward puffed at a cigarette and said calmly in the smoke, "You guys are so disgusting that you can bully a woman together, but I can't do it. I haven't tried beating a woman, but you must have a boyfriend, so let him come out to pay the price."
After Edward finished speaking, the bodyguard standing by the side stepped forward and directly picked up the man beside Monica. The man looked paler than his girlfriend in fear, like a deer caught in headlights.
Edward had watched the video many times, so he knew exactly what everyone in this room did. Monica darted forward twice, intending to slap Jane. Edward said, "Don't blame me. It's your girlfriend's fault." He looked as usual when saying this, but the next second his voice became deep, "Slap him."
Under the gaze of the astonished crowd, the bodyguard raised his arm to slap the man hard across the face. With a muffled 'smack' sound, the man directly covered his mouth and turned his head. The bodyguard pulled him over and slapped him on the other cheek. Edward didn't say stop, and the slap didn't stop. The man who was slapped didn't dare to resist, only trying to back away. Even so, Edward was unsatisfied.

"Why do you back away? Are you unhappy?"
Hearing this, the man froze and didn't move. He slowly put down his hand that he used to cover his mouth. The bodyguard was good at martial arts, so after being slapped a few times, the man had obvious red marks on his face, with the corner of his mouth bleeding.
But he daren't say a word.
In S City, no one dared to offend Edward, at least the man didn't dare.
Monica burst into tears, trembling with fear, and didn't dare to stop the bodyguard. She could only say in a low voice, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I know I'm wrong. Please stop slapping him..."
Edward turned a deaf ear and called another woman's name, "Which one is your boyfriend?"
The woman's face turned pale and she couldn't speak for a while. Edward said, "I said I won't beat women, but you do think that I won't beat you, don't you?"
There were louder and louder slaps in her ear. Seeing the face of the man who was beaten had been congested, the woman was so afraid that she closed her eyes and tugged at the hem of the man's clothes behind her. The man secretly pulled his clothes back, obviously unwilling to stand up.
Edward saw this and gave the bodyguard a hint, who walked over and pulled the man out.
"You may be out of luck. After all, your girlfriend used a weapon."
The woman used a bag, but the bodyguard picked up a baseball bat. Next, all the women present closed their eyes, and the men could hardly stand, trying to clear the relationship in panic.
This was a long night. Edward listened to the scream and sniffed the bloody smell in the air. Now, the anger in his heart could finally be damped down temporarily.
But as long as he thought that Jane was facing a group of people alone, he felt that no amount of revenge would be enough. He had been in S City for 26 years, but he had never been humiliated at the door of his place.
After a few hours, the room was a mess, and there were very few people standing in front of Edward. He put out the cigarette in the ashtray full of butts, lifted his eyes, and said, "I don't care who you have good relationships with or who you are close to, and who you want to help. Look at where you are. Can you afford to provoke me, can you afford the consequences, and do you have the ability to stand against me? If you dare, I will fight against you. If you don't dare, get away from me as soon as possible. A bunch of losers!"
His words were extremely harsh, but everyone had already been numb and even felt relieved. They knew that Edward was arrogant and despotic, but they only heard about it before. They didn't know that facing Edward was like being in hell until they experienced it themselves.
Those who were lying on the ground were dragged away like trash, and those who were still standing had suffered trauma. Edward wanted to smoke, but the cigarette case was already empty. He frowned, and immediately someone closed their eyes in fright, and a woman gave a grunt.
He suddenly didn't want to see their annoying faces again, and said impatiently, "Go away."
Those who were lucky enough not to be beaten felt they were given the amnesty and had already fled outside the door in their hearts, but they froze a few seconds before taking the first step because of the lack of strength.
There was blood on the carpet in the private room. Someone was waiting outside to clean it up. Edward got up and went upstairs to look at the time. It was just after four in the morning, still dark, which forced him to find something to do.
He called Howard, Beth's elder brother. The phone rang a few times before Howard answered, who was far abroad. He smiled and said, "Edward, we haven't contacted each other for a long time. How are you recently?"
Edward said coldly, "Not very good."
Howard was stunned. "What happened?"
Edward said, "In a few days, I'll let someone return your shares in my company to you at the market price and give you an additional two years of dividends."
Howard was stunned, "Edward, wait, what's going on? Is there something wrong with the company or me?"
Edward said coldly, "Ask your sister. She was asking for it."
