Chapter 124 Almost See the Whole Body

Chapter 124 Almost See the Whole Body
Justin stretched out his hand to pull the quilt, and when he touched Edward's body, he felt obviously hot. With worry in his eyes, he muttered, "Uncle Edward, you seem to have a fever."
Edward was lying on his stomach and was unwilling to move. Feeling groggy, he wanted to answer, but he couldn't say it. The quilt was pulled to the back of his neck, and the temperature under the quilt rose instantly. He instinctively raised his hand and pulled it down, just in time to catch up with Jane who peeked at him. This time, she not only saw his naked back but even saw his hip bone. Fortunately, he was lying on his stomach...
Turning her head again, Jane felt her heart beating faster, and there was only one thought in her mind that he was really sleeping naked!
Justin continued to pull the quilt upward. Edward frowned uncomfortably, and said only one word, "Hot."
One pulled the quilt upward and the other pulled it down. After several times, Justin turned to look at Jane, who was facing the wall. "Hey, what are you doing?"
Looking at the wall, Jane replied, "I'll call Sam."
Justin said, "It's useless to call anyone. Uncle Edward doesn't like taking medicine."
Jane was speechless.
What else could she say? Like nephew, like uncle!
Still, with her back to the bed, Jane raised her voice slightly and said, "Mr. Smith, I'm Jane, are you awake?"
After a few seconds, Edward, who was lying on his stomach, moved his body and then tried his best to raise his heavy head, slowly turning to the left.
Next to the bed was Justin, who is holding the quilt, and next to Justin was Jane, who faced the wall with her back to the bed.
"Why are you here?"
Hearing the man's low and tired voice, Jane said, "Have you covered your quilt?"
Edward glanced at his bare shoulders and back and grabbed the quilt to cover his body. "Yes."
Jane turned around and saw a half of his head under the fluffy white duvet. Edward covered himself well this time, and the quilt directly covered half of the back of his head.
She wanted to laugh but felt it was impolite, so she said with a serious expression, "Mr. Smith, are you feeling unwell?"
Edward closed his eyes and felt dizzy, "Well, maybe I have a cold."
Edward didn't sleep the night before yesterday. He went to the company during the day yesterday. Several game creators worked overtime to make new skins, and they had a meeting to discuss for a day. Three of them were sick, one had a cold, one had a fever, and the other had a runny nose. He teased them about being strong in appearance but weak in reality. However, when he came back early this morning, he started not to feel well after taking a shower. Sure enough, in the middle of the night, he felt cold and hot, and now his whole body hurt. Those who didn't know would think that he was beaten.
When Jane heard the words, her first reaction was to pull Justin, who was very close. "Don't get too close, or you might get sick."
Justin said without thinking, "I'm not afraid."
Jane said, "If you are sick, who will take care of your Uncle Edward?"
Edward turned his head and said in a low voice, "Justin, go out first."
Justin said, "I'm fine. I will take care of you."
Jane said, "You go out first, and I will take care of your Uncle Edward."
Justin believed in Jane in particular, and when he heard the words, he said with reluctance, "Uncle Edward, I'm just outside. Call me if you need anything."
"OK." Edward was very tired and didn't want to talk more.
Justin turned to leave. Jane looked at Edward, who was wrapped like a chrysalis, and said softly, "Mr. Smith, please wait a moment, I'll get you a glass of water."
She left and came back with a glass of warm water in her hand. She stretched out her hand and patted the quilt, "Mr. Smith?"
Edward tried hard to raise his head. Jane handed him the water glass. After he took it, he wanted to drink it directly, but he couldn't swallow it when he was lying on his stomach. He wanted to turn over first.

Seeing this, Jane immediately took the glass back and helped him put a pillow behind him. Edward stretched out his arm from the quilt, took the glass again, and drank most of it in one breath. In fact, he was dying of thirst, but he was just too lazy to call people.
Jane naturally wouldn't touch his head, and could only say politely, "If you have a cold or a fever, you still have to ask a doctor to come over and take a look. Even if you don't have an injection, you can take some medicine to prevent it from getting worse."
Edward leaned against the bedhead, with the quilt covering his neck and his arms out. The temperature inside the quilt was extremely high, and the arms outside the quilt didn't seem to be cool. If it wasn't for the fact that Jane was present, he would have already thrown back the covers.
Edward looked weak and tried his best to speak. His voice sounded low, "I'll be fine if I make it through today."
Make it through?
Who would choose this method when getting sick?
It could be understood if the child didn't like to take medicine, but why would Edward be like that too?
Though disagreeing with him in her heart, Jane looked very kind and said gently, "Then you should eat something first. If you are full, you will be better soon."
The curtains were still closed in Edward's room, and only the light was on. Edward turned his head slightly and asked, "What time is it?"
Jane said, "It's one o'clock in five minutes."
Edward felt dizzy, and it took him a few seconds to realize that it was one o'clock in the afternoon. If it was one o'clock in the morning, how could Jane be here?
"Since the class is over, just go to eat, and do your own thing after lunch."
Edward was not used to her standing here, and there was no reason for a tutor to serve him.
One should observe the proprieties when facing the opposite sex. Jane was more sensitive than Edward in this regard. She should not be unaccountably solicitous. Even if there was something, she should also show appropriate behaviors to avoid being misunderstood.
"I'll get you another glass of water. Please have a good rest, and I'll go now."
"OK."
Jane took the glass and walked out. Edward slowly threw back the quilt and got out of bed to go to the bathroom. It's not known whether he moved too slowly or Jane fetched the water too fast this time. In short, when she appeared at the door, she was just catching up with Edward sitting on the edge of the bed with his upper body naked and his long legs exposed. Only the quilt just covered the important parts.
Jane's eyes dilated with fear, and the hot water in the glass was spilled on her hand. Glancing at the back figure who hurriedly turned to leave, Edward didn't even have the strength to sigh. Instinctively, he pulled the quilt to cover himself, and then raise his voice slightly, "Come in."
Jane shifted the glass of hot water from one hand to the other outside and responded to him. She looked calm when appearing at the door again.
Edward didn't want to nor have the strength to lie back on the bed and wrap himself like a chrysalis. He still sat on the edge of the bed, with the quilt pulled from the back to the front, trying his best to cover himself.
Jane stared at the bedside table without looking around. After putting down the glass, she gave some advice and turned to leave.
Edward sat in the same place for a minute, making sure that no one would come in suddenly, so he loosened the quilt and walked towards the bathroom naked.
Jane went downstairs and couldn't find Justin. Only when she asked Sam did she find out that Justin had gone to the kitchen.
Justin wanted to cook food for Edward. He tried to do what Jane cooked for him before, and didn't let others help. Jane came to the kitchen door just as a group of panicked people surrounded Justin because he cut his hand.
Justin was so stubborn that he didn't let anyone touch him, but fortunately, Jane came over and pulled his hand under the faucet.
Justin asked, "Are you busy this afternoon?"
Jane said, "What's wrong?"
Justin whispered, "Could you take care of Uncle Edward?"
