Chapter 144 Someone Is Happy When She Comes

Chapter 144 Someone Is Happy When She Comes
Edward hesitated whether he would continue to lower his head and pretend not to hear, or raise his head and glare at them. Vincent, who was beside him, bumped into him with arm. Edward was in a temper and frowned. "What?"
Vincent turned his head. Edward followed his gaze and turned to look... Henry and Jane were sneaking around the wall, Henry in front, followed by Jane, who was holding a big steaming bowl in her hands.
Hearing the 'tsk tsk' from Vincent, Both Jane and Henry looked at this way. Henry quickly stretched out his hand and made a 'shush' gesture, while Jane and Edward looked at each other. Jane asked in a very low voice: "Where is Justin?"
Suddenly seeing her, Edward was expressionless. He slowly showed her the direction with his finger.
Henry and Jane looked away at the same time and continued to walk forward silently.
Edward and Vincent turned their heads, the former put down the phone and touched the cigarette on the table, while the latter raised his lips and said, "Speak of the devil, here she comes."
Edward didn't speak, just leaning on the sofa to smoke. Watching his face, Linda knew something was changed.
In the leisure area, Justin teamed up with others to play games. He was not in a good mood. In addition, his teammates were protecting him, and his opponent was obviously letting him win. Therefore, even if he won, he would not be happy.
At the end of the game, Justin had no smile on his face, and he was about to go home. At that time, Henry appeared with a big bowl in front of him, and said as usual, "Are you hungry? Eat something."
Justin looked down at the bowl in front of him, dazed for three seconds, then raised his eyes and said, "Who made it?"
Henry raised his eyebrows: "It's me."
Justin couldn't believe it, "Is Bad Teacher here?"
He was very nervous and eager, but he was afraid that he would be disappointed if he guessed wrong. Only then did he reluctantly admit that Henry was more talented than him in cooking. It seemed to be made by Bad Teacher, but Henry was also possible.
Seeing that he was suspicious, Henry added carelessly: "Have a try. See if I'm really good at it?"
Justin lowered his eyes, covering his expression. He picked up his chopsticks and took a sip.
Henry asked, "How is it? Is it yummy?"
Justin raised his head. With a very certain sight, he exclaimed, "Where are you hiding? Come out quickly."
This was not for Henry, but for Jane.
No one showed up as far as his eyes could see. Henry said with a smile: "Who are you talking to?"
Justin raised his voice: "I count three, if you don't come out, I promise that you will have trouble. Three, two..."
Before he could say "one", someone behind Justin suddenly tapped him on the shoulder. He didn't know that Jane was hiding behind him, and was really startled. Luckily, he could pretend to be fine. Then he turned his head to have a look.
Jane stood behind the sofa. She said unhappily, "What do you mean by having trouble?"
Justin resisted the urge to smile, deliberately pulled his face and said, "When did you come?"
Jane replied, "You didn't tell me today would be your birthday. And I came here uninvited. I would just say happy birthday to you and left."
Justin knew she was saying it on purpose, but still explained, "I asked if you would be free today, and you said no."
"You didn't say it would be your birthday," answer Jane.
"If I told you, would you come to my party instead of his?"
Jane answered, "I have accepted his invitation for a long time, but I will come to your party earlier. Not like now, I haven't even eaten any cake."
Justin was very happy that she was able to come. Hearing that, he replied, "There are enough cakes. I will ask someone to bring it to you."

"Don't worry. You can eat noodles first, which we have to eat for birthdays in our hometown."
Justin acted differently from what he said. While complaining Jane for being late, he enjoyed the noodles with chopsticks. Justin had eaten very little at night, and had barely touched the cake. It was the anger that supported him. Now that Jane was here, his anger subsided, and he felt very hungry.
Henry was very considerate. He got up and said, "I'm going to get the cake."
The occasion was originally crowded but not lively. Because of Jane's sudden arrival, Justin and Henry were extremely happy and cheered up.
Walking to the front hall, Henry saw that the cake, which had been pushed away before, was placed next to the sofa. Edward was eating it, so did some people who would like to follow the trend.
Henry walked there. A woman smiled, "Would you like some?I'll cut it for you."
"No," answered Henry.
He took the plate and cut a huge piece by himself. Vincent turned his head and said, "My dear brother, aren't you losing weight?"
Henry said blankly, "I got it for sister Jane."
While speaking, he cut two more normal pieces, one for Justin and the other for himself.
He couldn't take the three plates at one time, and was preparing to divide them into batches. Edward, who had never looked back on the sofa, said aloud: "Take the cake car away."
Henry originally thought so. But seeing that Edward was eating, he was embarrassed to do it. Now he got the order and asked sideways, "Aren't you guys going to eat?"
"No."
Edward was about to finish the piece of cake on the plate. Vincent raised his hand and asked Henry to pass the plate with the big cake to him. Henry wasn't willing to do it. "Why? "
Vincent answered: "We have given you the whole car. Leave this piece for your brother Edward. You should have your conscience."
After realizing it, Henry handed over the plate, and before leaving, he said, "Brother Edward, if you want more, come and get it at any time."
Vincent handed it to Edward, who accepted and ate it seamlessly. Seeing this, Vincent smiled and said, "You're in a good mood?"
Edward ignored him.
Vincent said to himself, "You didn't eat before, but when Jane came, you had a big appetite."
Edward lowered his eyes and said calmly, "If I beat you now, can you still take her as the reason?"
Vincent answered: "Look, you are willing to continue with this topic."
"Stay away from me," said Edward.
Hearing that, Vincent even rushed towards him. Edward frowned and stood up in disgust, his eyes full of: What are you making a fuss about?
Vincent lazily propped up on the sofa. He patted the vacant seat and motioned Edward to sit down, who just turned to leave with a plate in one hand and a spoon in the other.
Behind him was Vincent's shout: "Come back, I won't joke with you anymore..."
Edward wandered to the rest area, where there were Justin and Henry facing him. One of them was eating noodles and the other eating cake. And even eating could not stop them from talking. They were no longer reserved but loquacious.
Sitting opposite, it was Jane who brought this change. She was eating the cake quietly. Indeed, she didn't need to do anything. As long as she appeared here, it could make them happy.
The cream in Edward's mouth melted and tasted sweet. Seeing Justin so happy, he was also pleased.
Henry raised his eyes and saw him, "Hello, brother Edward."
Jane was just putting a large piece of cake into her mouth. Hearing this, she quickly swallowed it, got up, turned her head and said, "Hello, Mr. Smith."
Edward didn't know that they were having a competition to see who has the biggest mouth. He walked over and said in a low voice, "There is cream on your face."
Jane immediately raised her hand to touch her face. Sure enough, her fingers were stained with white.
