Chapter 132 The Most Tremendous Disturbance

Chapter 132 The Most Tremendous Disturbance
After the dinner, Howard saw off Edward and Jane, and then he rushed home angrily. Wendy opened the door, and he didn't even greet her, saying frankly, "Where is Beth?"
Wendy noticed that Howard was irritated, so she carefully said, "She's in the bedroom."
Howard walked into the room with shoes, followed by Wendy. When Howard pushed open the door angrily, Beth was lying on the bed, and the sudden sound startled her. She frowned and said, "Why don't you knock on the door?"
Howard walked inside and said with an angry face, "Are you crazy? You knew that I invited Edward to have dinner at Maple Restaurant tonight, but you still brought Ken to make trouble. Why did you disrupt me?"
Beth had been unhappy with Howard for a long time. Hearing his words, she sat up and said with a cold face, "Now, you're willing to tell me the truth. You came back home from far away only because of the shares you put in Edward's company? Why did you say that you came back for me and our family?"
Wendy tried to stop her and told her not to talk about these things.
Howard laughed in anger, saying, "Did I earn all the money by picking up from the ground? Why do I let you, such an idiot, waste my money?"
Howard and Beth didn't grow up and live together, so they seldom had a fight. If they fought with each other, they still would be harmonious on the surface and never turn on.
Now Howard called Beth an idiot, so she didn't maintain the fake peace anymore.
Beth glared at Howard, "Do you call me an idiot?"
Howard was angrier than her, "Yes, you are such a complete idiot! Father is still proud of your degree and experience. However, you could never go to such an excellent university and get good chances before graduation without the Brown family. Others won't know these, but you should know a lot of your work is done by others not by yourself!"
"You can cheat on your degree, but your IQ can never be counterfeit! You are hopelessly stupid. Our family will be ruined by you sooner or later!"
Howard was extremely angry at all the hate and grudges in these years so that His face turned red, and the veins on his neck stood out.
Beth's face turned red immediately. She pulled the quilt off and sat up, asking back, "I cheat? What about you? How much money and relationship did your father give you over the years? and Did you make full use of them? You're just a baby in arms! People who give you money will be your relatives. You think I don't know, but I'm clear that you have talked something bad about me and my mother to my father! You want all the money, so what do you think?"
Wendy stood between them and said anxiously, "Stop it!"
Howard nodded and said, "Well, you're all good at calling white black. If your mother didn't have to get married to my father, my mother wouldn't leave! Your mother stole my mother's position, and you two are working together to drive me out of this house. I would like to ask you, what are your intentions? You're all a bunch of fu*king money-loved ungrateful people, and you're still pretending to be filial and kind!"
Beth pointed at Howard and said sternly, "What are you talking about? You should respect my mother!"
Howard scolded, "I'm swearing at you. Like mother, like daughter. Your mother has taught you into such an idiot!"
Beth was furious and rushed to hit Howard. Wendy stopped her, but Howard also became angry, pushing her to the bed with one hand and pointing at her with the other, saying, "Beth, I warn you. Don't force me to slap you!"

Howard's eyes turned red because of the anger. Beth was scared by Howard's expression, lying on the bed without moving. Wendy blocked in front of Beth and said with a pale face, "Howard, let's slow down here, okay? Don't do that. Didn't you talk to Edward well? We can discuss peacefully..."
Howard glared at Beth with cold eyes for a few seconds. He stood in place and said in a deep voice, "You should ask your good daughter what she did today. We could have talked well today, but it's all over now."
Wendy turned back to look at Beth and said anxiously, "What did you do again?"
Beth said, "What did I do? I just went to have dinner, and I didn't say a word!"
Seeing that Beth was still arguing, Howard frowned and said, "You really won't feel guilty until the last minute. Ken has already admitted that you stole something from Edward's company and gave it to him. Do you think you're fearless of everything by having Ken as your backer? If Edward wanted to get to the bottom, you would go to jail because of larceny!"
Hearing his words, Wendy was extremely astonished, and Beth was also confused.
After a few moments, Wendy pulled Beth and asked, "Do you hear what your brother said? What is going on? Did you steal something from Edward's company?"
Beth's eyelids twitched, "How can I do that? Am I crazy?"
Howard said, "Then why would Ken say that?"
Ken Ken...
Beth hurriedly got off the bed. She took her phone and called Ken. She had thought of countless words to explain, only to hear the words from the phone, "Sorry. The number you dialed does not exist, please check it and dial it again..."
It was still the same cold voice on the second call.
Beth's face turned pale, and Wendy said, "I'll try it."
Howard had had enough and said in a deep voice, "Do you think it's still useful to find out who was the traitor? Edward only suspected you before, but now Ken personally admitted that you did it. You still got so close to him, and you even showed it in front of Edward. You are killing yourself!"
Only at this moment did Beth suddenly realize that Ken made nice to her on purpose. He didn't want her to do other things, and he only wanted to drive her up the wall, which was more vicious.
Staring straight at a place, Beth murmured, "It's Jane Cooper. It must be her. She is on the same side as Ken, and Ken framed me up just to whitewash Jane!"
Wendy panicked. She looked at Howard and said, "I can guarantee that Beth didn't do that. She likes Edward so much that she won't steal his things for other people. Could you please explain it to Edward clearly?"
Howard wasn't angry anymore and became indifferent, saying, "If Edward believed Beth, he would not find her at first. However, all the time, she had been persisting that Jane Cooper did that. She didn't know how Edward showed his affection to Jane. He cared about her face all the time, and he even let Jane order the food. They kept whispering during the dinner, and Edward even agreed to come because Jane would come as well.
Howard continued, "Your degree is very fake. Why do you still have such a low level of emotional intelligence? Don't you know whether Edward like you or not?"
Beth bit her teeth and tried not to cry, but the tears still fell down.
Howard said, "Edward said that he won't get to the bottom this time with only one condition. You must stay away from him and his people, and this is the last time. If you did bad things next time, he would definitely punish you and us regardless of our fellowship. I also warn you. If you dare to do something insane again, I will punish you hard before others. You've offended the Smith family, and you should just wait for your father to come back."
After finishing his words, Howard turned around and left. Beth was bewildered and stood in the same place. Wendy pushed her in anger, "You've made a big trouble this time!"
