Chapter 131 Garcia Convicted Beth of A Crime

Chapter 131 Ken Convicted Beth of A Crime
Ken opened the door and swaggered in. He pulled out an empty seat and sat down as if no one was in the room. Under the different looks of the other three people at the table, he said casually, "Why haven't you eaten the dishes? They don't taste good? I just ordered a delicious one, and do you want some?"
Howard knew Ken, but not very well. He just knew that Ken and Edward hated each other, so he didn't dare to respond to or offend Ken. He didn't even dare to speak.
Ken sat directly opposite Edward. Edward said without taking a glance at him, "I feel disgusted when seeing you. Do you want to go out by yourself, or let someone carry you out?"
Ken said, "Such a coincidence. I also feel like vomiting when seeing someone. Since I don't want to eat tonight, I think I can throw up after seeing you, and then I'll have an appetite again."
Edward's expression was horrible. He stared at Ken with cold eyes.
Jane was afraid that Edward would lose his temper suddenly. Although she felt that Edward had been angry, he was still a little sick, so if they fought, Edward might lose. She looked at Ken and said nicely, "Mr. Garcia, you need to pay attention to the feeling of vomiting. Please go to the hospital and check whether there is something wrong with your body."
Ken looked at Jane and deliberately held up his chin, making a gesture as if he would see the fun for a long time. He asked with interest, "Oh? Are you cursing me to get sick?"
Edward was disgusted at the way how Ken looked at Jane. Ken's gaze was frivolous and obsessive as if Jane was a targeted prey that couldn't run away.
When Edward was about to explode, Jane replied to Ken simply, "It may not be a serious illness. Perhaps you're so lucky."
Ken didn't understand her words for a while and said, "Why am I so lucky?"
Jane said without blinking, "Maybe it's good for you to eat something more spicy and sour."
Ken was still confused, and Edward couldn't help but raised the corners of his lips, saying sarcastically, "It turns out that you're pregnant. Whose baby?"
Ken understood after hearing Edward's words. Jane unexpectedly pulled his leg. He responded to her as usual, "Anyway, not yours."
While saying this, Ken turned his beautiful eyes to Howard, who was like a mute. Ken asked, "You are the stepbrother of Bethy?"
People might know a stepmother and a stepfather, but it's the first time people had known a stepbrother.
Howard instinctively had a bad feeling, but he had to reply to Ken, "I am Howard Brown."
Ken eyed Howard up and down, saying, "You look not young, but you really don't know the rules. Why did you greet Bethy when you saw her?"
Howard put on a horrible expression. How could he answer this question?
Edward stopped smiling and warned, "Ken, if you don't get out, I'll beat you to infertility."
Jane immediately lowered her head. She really wanted to laugh in such a tense and serious situation, where it was improper to laugh.
Howard's expression changed greatly. He didn't want to laugh, and he even wanted to cry. He couldn't even deal with only Edward, and now he was more anxious than before because Ken got involved.
Ken leaned on the sofa, put a serious expression on his delicate face, and said in a sober tone, "You three, a stepbrother, an ungrateful man, and a hypocritical woman. Did you bully others together?"
The hypocritical woman, Jane, looked at Ken in the corner of her eyes. She thought that Ken was mental. Otherwise, why did he speak for Beth?
The ungrateful man, Edward, said in a cold voice, "Yes, we did. What can you do?"
The infertile Ken said, "Others thought that you got angry because of women. Maybe Miss Cooper is also happy in her heart, right?"

Ken glanced at Jane, "Although others don't know the reason, I'm clear about it. Someone just has taken it personally, suspecting that Bethy stole something from him. However, he can't be brazen, so he has to play dirty on the sly."
The stepbrother, Howard, said, "Mr. Garcia, since you just heard from others, you don't have to take it seriously."
Ken snorted and said, "I also told someone clearly today that he is ungrateful, but I am not. Bethy treated him well before, but even if he didn't appreciate it, he shouldn't do bad things to her in turn. Luckily, Bethy is a clever girl, understanding who is good to her."
Ken continued, "I'll partake in those things that she didn't dare to admit. You just lost some rubbish. I took it. Come on! Don't be hard on a woman."
Ken looked at Edward, with provocation full of his eyes.
Before Edward said something, Howard became anxious and said nervously, "Mr. Garcia, you can't say that."
Ken said without changing his expression, "What are you afraid of? Although you are Bethy's stepbrother, as long as you are good to her, you can put the money in my company rather than in Edward's. You can take it as Bethy made a decision for you. Different investments can all make money. I must be nicer than Edward."
Howard was totally confused. When he heard that Edward was suspicious of Beth, he felt that it was serious, which was about the traitor and interest. Beth didn't admit that she was the traitor, so Edward also didn't get to the bottom. Now, what Ken said confirmed that Beth was the traitor.
Jane was also wondering whether Ken was to protect Beth or muddy the water.
After a short silence, Edward said, "Finished? Then you can get out."
Ken said, "Bethy is still waiting for me outside. I won't stay here even if you kneel down and beg me."
Ken stood up calmly, walking outside and saying, "Only I care about Bethy."
Jane sat opposite the door. She raised her eyes to look at Ken's back, and he suddenly looked at her when he opened the door to leave. Their eyes met, and she clearly saw him curve up his lips and winked his right eye towards her.
Soon, the door was closed again, and the private room was silent.
The stepbrother, Howard, had a more horrible expression than Edward did.
Howard originally wanted to pour out his woes to Edward. He couldn't do that anymore because Beth colluded with Ken to entrap Edward. Even if he wasn't related to this matter, he was shameful to get the dividends.
Five seconds, ten seconds... No one talked.
Edward suddenly looked at Jane and said, "Just have dinner."
Jane subconsciously nodded her head and picked up the chopsticks, but how could she eat in such an awkward atmosphere?
Howard said, "Edward, I really don't know she was so bold. I asked her before, and she said she didn't do that."
Edward picked up some food with chopsticks and said as usual, "It has nothing to do with you."
Howard asked, "What are you going to do about this?"
Edward ate some food and replied to him slowly, "I said before that she should stay away from me and my people. This is the last time."
Howard did not know whether to be grateful or afraid because Edward didn't mention the compensation. He raised his cup of tea and said, "I thank you for my father."
If not because of Howard's father, Edward would punish Beth long ago. It was just a small punishment to remove his shares now.
Howard didn't dare to mention the shares and was depressed during the dinner.
Outside the door, Ken came out and paid the bill. He said to Beth, "I still have something to do, and I'll leave first."
Beth raised her eyes and said, "What's wrong?"
Ken slightly smiled and said, "After I finish your things, it's time to go and do my own thing."
Beth said, "If there is anything I can help you with, just tell me."
Ken nodded fervently, pretending to be serious, and left.
