Chapter 92 More Happy with Left-behind Children

Chapter 92 Happy Left-behind Children
The trip to Y City was totally in a hurry. Compared with the surprise of meeing Aiden Cater unexpectedly, there was no need to care about the play-boy Andy Johnson. And the only thing that concerned Jane was that Andy Johnson would make trouble for Aiden Cater.
On the first day back in S City, Aaron Hunter got up so early and came to the company with Jane. For no other reason, he just wanted to tell the cleaner to put the vase in Charles Lee's office. Obviously, the flower in the vase was the lucky bridal bouquet he snatched at the wedding.
Jane took a taxi and came to the Smith family. Sam hurriedly walked to her as soon as he saw her. The two greeted, and then Sam said, "Miss Cooper, Justin accidentally bumped his head when played in the backyard yesterday. But he refused to go to the hospital or see the family doctor, which really concerned us a lot. Mr Edward was supposed to be back today, but he called yesterday and said it might be delayed for a few days. I didn't tell him about this, just didn't want to make him worried. Miss Cooper, Justin would do as you say. Please go upstairs with me to have a look."
Then Jane came upstairs, Justin was still sleeping. As she drew the curtains, she sang the song "Sailor". "He said in the stormy sea what such little pain really is. Wipe your tears, don't ask why..."
Except she was out of tune, agile as Justin was, he also found that she didn't sing the song of Jay Chou this time. Then he opened his one eye and asked vaguely, "You changed your style?"
Jane didn't answer and asked, "I heard that you knocked your head while playing in the backyard. May I ask which foot did you stumble on?"
Justin closed the eye he had just opened. Though being annoyed that Sam told her about this, he couldn't help defending himself, "I'm not a fool. I was just ripped by a dog!"
Jane laughed. "What a oblivious dog!"
Justin didn't replied, and suddenly realized that he was more like a fool when he said this.
Jane came to the bedside, and woke him up with delicious food as usual. Justin sat up, and his hair was a mass of tangle. There were no distinct wounds on his face, but when Jane raised her hand and touched the back of his head.
Justin would have already been mad at her for doing this before. But now, he just looked up and glanced at her. "What are you doing?"
Soon Jane touched a bulge at the back of his head and asked, "Does it hurt?"
Justin frowned. "You tell me."
"Then why don't you see a doctor? The doctor is gonna save you not kill you. What are you afraid of?" said Jane.
"I'm not you." said Justin. What was really scary was being afraid of nothing, just like her.
"But you've got such a big bump on your head. Edward will be worried." Jane said.
"He won't know if you don't tell him."
"The only way to reassure others is to take a cure, not to hide it. Fine, let's cut to the chase. What are the conditions for you to see a doctor?"
Justin, who had just woken up, looked laid-back and sluggish. And it was hard to know whether he was thinking or wandering. After a while, he said, "I want to kick the ball."
"What kind?"
"Beside football, is there any ball kicked by foot?" he said impatiently.
Jane didn't bat an eyelid and said, "Okay, this weekend. And call your Uncle Edward, he is just trying to lose weight."
Justin frowned. "Uncle Edward wants to lose weight?"
Jane came to her sense later. "Oh, you call Henry uncle, right?"
She was inattentive and almost forgot that he also had a uncle in the Smith family after sorting out the relationship of the Perez family.

Justin was a little bit upset and said, "I'm asking you to play football with me. Why did you talk about Henry Perez?"
"You two don't get along well?" Jane asked.
Justin looked away. "Not really. We just don't play together."
"He's been losing weight recently. And it will be so nice of you to ask him to do some sports. He also got few friends and might be lonely." Jane said.
In fact, Justin was the same as Henry Perez. Though they all didn't have many friends, they still always gave the cold shoulder to each other."
"Whatever, call him if you want."
Jane said, "Okay, then I'll tell him when I meet him on Thursday. Get up and let the doctor come over at noon to cure your head."
Jane came to the Perez family on Thursday. And before entering Henry's room, she heard rhythmic heavy breathing. Jane immediately thought of the picture of lifting dumbbells or doing push-ups. Thinking of this, she came to the door. And when she walked in, she saw that Henry was really doing sports. But instead of lifting dumbbells or doing push-ups, he was lying on the bed doing sit-ups with a thick pillow on his back.
Henry breathed heavily. Seeing Jane, he counted in a whisper, "Ninety-eight, ninety-nine...one, one hundred."
After finishing the last one, his face was flushed and the veins on his neck loomed. He lied on the bed, sweaty and panting.
Jane took out a tissue and handed it to him. "I haven't seen you for a few days and it seems that you have lost some weight. You are not skipping meals, are you?"
"No, I ask someone to buy white porridge near your house every day." Henry said.
Jane said, "Unlike other food, white porridge is the same everywhere. There is no need to buy it far away. You can cook it at home."
Henry said firmly, "I think the one near your house is delicious."
Jane said, "You must be terribly starving that day."
After taking a break for a while, Henry got up to take a shower and then came out with his clothes changed. "Do you like to play football?" Jane asked.
Henry sat down and shook his head. "No."
Jane said, "You know, there is a inexorable rule to lose weight. Do what you don't like and eat what you don't love."
Henry thought for a moment. "It makes sense."
Jane said, "Let's play football on weekends. Justin will be there too."
In order to lose weight, Henry didn't refuse. "Tell your brother, not your mom." Jane whispered.
Henry immediately picked up the phone and called Vincent Perez.
After ringing a few times, the phone was connected. "Vincent, I'm gonna tell you something." Henry said.
"What?"
"I'm going to play football this weekend."
Vincent said, "Play football? Well, it is even so hard for you to take a walk. Stop kidding me."
Henry frowned. "If you don't believe me, just ask her."
He handed the phone to Jane. Jane took it and smiled. "Mr. Perez."
Vincent Said, "Miss Cooper."
Jane said, "It's true. I want to ask Henry and Justin to play football together this weekend."
Vincent Perez changed his face quickly and smiled. "Okay, the weather is warm now and it's really a good time to play football."
Hearing this, Henry rolled his eyes.
"Neither Edward nor I were in S City. So thank you for looking after them. And let's grab dinner sometime when we go back. It's on me."
Hanging up the phone, Vincent Perez looked at Edward Smith, who was sitting not far away, smoking and playing games. "What a good teacher you've found." Vincent said.
Paying no attention to him, Edward Smith even didn't raise his head and looked at him.
There was a rare seriousness showed on Vincent Perez's face. He said seriously, "Since she could persuade Henry to play football... I'm gonna pay her ten times more, and let her be in charge of breaking your bad habit of punching people at your own will."
