Chapter 90 S City, Edward Smith

Chapter 90 S City, Edward Smith
No one knew what Edward was thinking, and even Jane could only guess that he was unhappy with Andy. There were many tables of guests to whom they hadn't drank the toast, and she couldn't get away, so she could only ask the waiter to serve yogurt and grapes to Edward.
Edward sat in the chair, feeling he was drunk, his heartbeat a bit fast. He couldn't smoke, and he had to deal with the officials around him, so he was annoyed.
The waiter came from behind, holding a tray, and politely asked, "May I ask if you are Mr. Smith?"
Edward raised his head, "What's the matter?"
The waiter put a cup of yogurt and a plate of washed grapes in front of him, and smiled amiably at his exceptionally handsome face, "Please enjoy."
Looking at the yogurt and grapes, Edward knew who sent them without asking. The person beside him was confused and didn't know what to say but ask, "Do you like grapes?"
Edward smiled perfunctorily and nodded. What else could he say?
The people around him kept talking about where the grapes were delicious and how sweet they were. They also wanted to send grapes to Edward in S City. Edward said, "Thank you, no need. There are also grapes for sale in S City."
It's not even small talk, and they basically had nothing to talk about. After a while, the waiter came and said, "Excuse me, Miss Cooper asked you to come to the lounge."
Edward was stunned, and then asked, "Where is the lounge?"
"Please go out and turn left, then turn left again at the end of the corridor. It's the first room."
Edward got up to leave and found the lounge according to the waiter's instructions. He opened the door and saw Andy leaning lazily on the sofa. Two others were sitting elsewhere.
Looking up at Edward, Andy sneered with a blushing face, "You really came here."
Edward knew that he didn't get to the wrong place when he heard this, so he just walked in. Tall, he stood at the door and asked expressionlessly, "Looking for me?"
Andy said with a sarcastic look, "You must have thought it was Jane looking for you and have been so excited, right?"
Edward said without blinking, "I'm also very excited that you are looking for me."
Another man in the room said, "Don't act innocent here. What do you mean, did you deliberately make Andy drink on the table just now?"
Edward said, "You finally understand. Not stupid."
The pretentious man threw his cigarette and glared at Edward, "Who are you talking to?"
Edward wanted to laugh, but he didn't want to play nice with them, so ignoring that man, he looked at Andy and said calmly, "How did Jane offend you?"
Andy said, "What's your relationship with her?"
Edward didn't answer, and someone in the room interjected, "Isn't it obvious that he's just a guy she's sleeping with? As soon as you stripped her clothes, she asked her lover to make you drink. F*ck, one after another, everywhere."
Different wording has different focuses, and each word has its own definition, such as step and strip, whose meanings are totally different.
Strip clothes?
What instantly appeared in Edward's mind was the man's coat hanging on Jane's arm. Before, he only thought it was obtrusive, but now, his mind was full of images he couldn't imagine.
In an instant, Edward's eyes turn cold. He looked at Andy and said in a low voice, "I shouldn't have let you drink."
Andy thought he was cowardly, and sneered, "It's too late."
Edward stepped forward, and Andy didn't know what he was going to do. Even though he was kind of worried, it was not appropriate to show panic, so he pretended to sit calmly on the sofa.
Unexpectedly, Edward walked up to him, picked up the crystal photo frame on the coffee table, and smashed it directly on Andy's head without saying anything.

The frame was not thick, A5-sized, with the wedding photos of Susan and Cornel in it. With a dull thud, the glass cracks did not fall. Andy was beaten to have no choice but to instinctively raise his hand to protect his head. Edward grabbed Andy by his collar and hit him again.
This time, the glass on the photo frame was all shattered and fell down Andy's head. Some fell on the sofa, and some fell directly into his shirt.
Andy scolded, and raised his hand to resist. Quick and fierce, Edward grabbed Andy's hand and twisted it back. There was a crash, followed by screams.
Edward said coldly, "I shouldn't have let you drink wine. You only deserve to drink urine."
The other two people in the room were almost dumbfounded and came to help after realizing what happened. Edward knocked one down with one punch and kicked one down. When he was fighting, he took whatever he wanted, and now he picked up the vase on the table. Seeing Andy struggling to get up, he smashed a vase down on his head.
A crash made the other two people who were just about to get up from the ground in shock sit back again.
Andy was knocked unconscious. When grabbing him by the hair and pulling him off the sofa, Edward could only see the whites of his eyes. Andy had some awareness because of the huge scalp pain.
Edward looked at him and said, "Bullying her? Before bullying her, didn't you ask if she had anyone behind her?"
One of Andy's arms was misplaced, and he reached out the other hand over his head, trying to prise Edward's hand. He vaguely said, "How dare you beat me? Do you know who I am?"
Edward humiliated Andy by slapping his face. The slaps were louder and louder. He said, "Is your father the President?"
Andy said a name, then gritted his teeth and said, "You don't want to stay in Y City anymore, right?"
Edward pretended to be serious and said, "It turns out that your dad is the head of the education department. Since he can manage the education of the entire Y City, why can't he have time to teach you how to be a human being? Look at you, you're worse than a dog."
Andy couldn't fight and get free. He was grabbed by the hair, his head bleeding, and he said with red eyes, "Who are you?"
Edward replied coldly, "Edward Smith. I live in S City. Don't worry about me running away, you can call someone now, and I'll wait for you."
After speaking, Edward suddenly let go of Andy whose legs were so weak that he took a few steps back and sat down on the sofa. With his eyes fixed on Edward's face, Andy quickly took out his mobile phone to make a call.
Edward sat on a separate sofa beside him and lit a cigarette as if he really wanted to wait for him to call someone.
As soon as he got through, Andy said in a hurry, "Hurry up and bring your men to Beyond Hotel!"
The man on the phone asked, "What happened?"
"Stop asking. I'll be beaten to death if you continue to ask."
"I'll take my men. Who are you fighting with?"
Andy stared at the smoker opposite him, gritted his teeth, and said, "Edward Smith."
Hearing this, the man on the phone was obviously silent, "Who are you talking about?"
"Edward! Are you deaf?"
"Which Edward?"
Andy was about to burst a blood vessel. Usually, not to mention that he could do whatever he wanted, he had never suffered such grievances. Now he had been beaten to be covered with blood, and the man he asked for help was still hemming and hawing. Holding the phone, he said loudly, "He said he lives in S City. S City, Edward Smith. Who d*mn knows him?"
The person on the phone was completely silent this time, and Andy said, "Hello? Why don't you speak?"
The man replied in a deep voice, "I can't help you. Call your dad quickly."
"D*mn..."
Before Andy finished speaking, the man hung up without any hesitation.
