Chapter 47 Get into Trouble
Edward Smith's car soon was driven into the yard of another villa, bigger than the one Jane was in before, with four floors and a wider yard lined with parking spaces for sports car.
The two got out of the car and walked into the house. Before they got in, there came a loud noise, mixed with the laughter of men and women. Edward Smith walked in front, and just as soon as he entered the door, someone called him immediately:"Edward, come on."
Jane followed behind Edward Smith, and the minute she showed up, several men on the sofa all looked over and those with their backs to the door also turned their heads.
A crowed of people all stared at Jane. Following Edward Smith, she came to the sofa and glanced at the coffee table with cards scattered on it, along with bundles of bills of China Yuan.
In the middle of sofa sat a particularly eye-catching man, wearing a red stain shirt, with his sleeves rolled up and his collar open. He raised his head and stared past Edward Smith at Jane, then saying with a smile, "Hey, Miss Cooper, come on. Take a seat."
He had a delicate and pretty look and even appeared very bright once he smiled. If it was on another occasion, he was certainly not associated with the words of luxury and dissipation. Jane smiled and nodded. Being given a seat by someone else, Edward Smith said to Jane, "Have this seat."
Jane took the seat. Then Edward Smith casually pushed away another man on a seat who was unwilling to get up, and sat down beside Jane, with half a meter between them apparently.
Edward said, "This is Vincent Perez."
"Hi, Miss Cooper," the man in the red shirt on the opposite side reached out his hand and said with a smile.
Jane responded politely. Just as she reached out her hand to shake, Edward pulled her arms back first and gave a warning glance to Vincent. At that moment, Vincent felt so wronged and said, "what the hell! I can't shake hands with her?"
Edward ignored him and said to himself,"where's Henry?"
Vincent Perez looked around but didn't find him. Someone next to him said, "It seems that he was in the lounge area just now."
Then Edward said to Jane, "Go and see Henry."
"Don't hurry," Vincent said, "Miss Cooper just got here. Let's sit down and play for a while."
Edward said, "She doesn't know how to play."
Jane could take the hint that he clearly didn't want her to have too much contact with these people. She nodded naturally and got up. Then Vincent asked someone to take her to Henry.
Looking at the back of her, Vincent said with a smile, "A tutor? With such a pretty face?"
"I only care about her ability," Edward replied as usual.
Vincent's smile got bigger. "What kind of ability? I'm so curious now."
He said with the tongue in the cheek. Edward glanced at him and said seriously, "If it isn't for Henry'sake, I'll just ignore you."
Vincent said, "Well, good things are supposed to be shared. She is not yours, right?"
Edward Smith lit a cigarette, took a puff and said,"I brought her here for Henry.Don't try any tricks,or I'm gonna f**k you shit up."
Hearing this, Vincent was so surprised and asked doubtfully, "Wow! True love? Are you serious?"
Surrounded by a crowd, of which the men all were familiar while the women were mostly unknown, Edward didn't want to argue seriously with Vincent anymore and just said casually, "She's in my league. Nobody can trip her up."
Several signed as he spoke.
"Oh, we're excited too soon."
"Yeah, I was so excited, and now I'm so disappointed."
Vincent scolded laughingly, "You idiots."
A man said, "It depends on the teacher. If I had met such a great one, I might have already been somebody."
"No, you might have ready been married," Vincent taunted.
With the same pale face, Edward leaned on the sofa and smoked, a puff of white fog coming out of his mouth. "I have already reminded you that Jane is the tutor of Justin, so leave her alone, or I'll make you into shoes," he said.
His threat was always the most effective deterrent. People would rather violate the law than break his rules because, after all, they would be punished harshly once they annoyed him.
People here all just had the bad thoughts but didn't have the courage to do it. Vincent turned his head and said to the beauty sitting on the armrest of the sofa, "See, he doesn't like you at all."
The woman, with an oval face and a slender waist, was naturally good-looking and famous around them. Although she was a socialite, it was not that easy to reach her. Vincent invited her over for his birthday, and she was sitting next to Edward at the beginning. Then Edward suddenly took a phone call and went out. When he came back, Jane was next to him. He also publicly warned others not to hit on her, so it was obvious that Jane was important to him.
With a smile on her face, Amy Young pressed her lips and said with mock grievance, "Maybe Mr.Smith thinks I am uneducated."
Vincent laughed and said, "If you are uneducated, everyone here is illiterate."
Amy Young said, "An illiterate is at least better than a rogue."
People around here were all amused at her words, and even Edward laughed. Vincent praised, "Only you can make Edward laugh. He is always pulling his long face and I'm afraid that he might get depressed secretly."
Edward said, "Bullshit."
Vincent winked at Amy to tell her to sit next to Edward. She raised her eyebrows slightly and joked, "Oh, I dare not.do that." And then she added in a whisper, "Miss Cooper is still here."
She was also surreptitiously looking at Edward when she said this. Like most of the rich guys in this room, Edward had got a big ego and he was superior to others. So, it was too hard for others to coax and please him. Amy dealt with him a lot. At least there was a rumor that she was his darling. So in this way, she thought that Edward would ask her to sit there. But to her surprise, Edward he just kept quiet and said calmly, "Keep a low profile. What if the kid see it?"
The only person in this villa could be considered as a child was Henry Perez ,who just turned 16-year-old this year.
Jane was brought to the rest area. Before she could see anyone from a few meters away, she heard a vague voice of a boy or a young man. He was discontentedly complaining, "Can you do it? Hey, can you play or not?"
Bang! A sound came, like something was thrown on the ground. Just as Jane rounded the corner to a place with a wide vision, she saw a young women bending down to pick up a game controller. The woman said gently, "Don't be mad. Let's try again."
Another woman, standing in front of a soccer machine, said to him,"I have finished practicing. Let's play with this."
The person at the couch with only his head exposed stood up and said disgustedly, "Okay, fine. I'll be thankful if you guys both leave me alone. I'm so tired of it."
There came a little fatty about five or six feet tall.
He looked little was because of his boyish that he was wearing a T-shirt and jeans, with a medium-length haircut which he might think could make his face looked smaller. There was a word for him, that is, rebellion.
