Chapter 45 Famous for the Figh

Chapter 45 Famous for the Fight
Jane thought Grace was stupid, not because the person she provoked was Ken, but all those who badgered their exes after breaking up were stupid.
In front of the crowd, Ken looked surly, while Grace was embarrassed. She must have known it clearly, so it became more and more difficult for her to stop, and she could only drag everyone into this mess.
Ken was not as angry as in the beginning but calmed down to pull up a chair and sat at a distance of more than one meter from the long table. Staring at Grace on the opposite side with cold eyes, he said, "Okay, since you don't care about losing face, let's put it straightforwardly. Tell me, what do you want to do?"
The most terrible was not a man's temper, but his indifference. Ken didn't look at Grace like he was looking at a stranger at all but like looking at dirty things.
Grace was completely hurt by his gaze which rendered her speechless with sadness.
He knew exactly what she wanted to do. She just didn't want other women around him.
Seeing her silence, Ken spoke again, "Why don't you say anything? Again and again, do you think I'm good-tempered?"
His voice sounded so cold that the women in the room even didn't dare breathe. The man he knew persuaded him in a low voice, "Come on, cool down."
Ken said, "Did I say that on purpose? There are too many women I've dated. We all ended in a good way and I haven't owed anyone anything. I have never seen anyone keep showing up like a psycho."
With eyes widened, Grace said, "Who did you say is like a psycho?"
Ken replied unblinkingly, "I said you. How many times has this kind of situation happened? Do you think that I didn't say anything before means I still love you? Come on, every time we met you were drunk. Would I like this kind of person? You won't make me worried by doing this and will only become a joke in everyone's eyes.
Jane stood aside. As an outsider, she felt embarrassed for Grace and didn't expect that Ken hadn't finished speaking yet. He said with disgust, "The most important is whether you can let me go if you want to be a joke. I still want to save face. I won't always talk about our relationship. Don't let me remember who you are in this way. After all, no one I hate will end well."
This was the first time Ken put it all on the table since he broke up with Grace. She had nowhere to hide in front of everyone.
He was so cruel that he didn't even give her the last hope. Grace held back tears, hating Ken at this moment, and of course Jane. He did this all because of Jane.
The huge villa was silent until a colder voice came from the door, "That was a long time ago. Can't you forget about it?"
This voice was so familiar that Jane turned her head quickly before she realized. Edward appeared at the door, with black trousers, and a ginger-brown satin shirt. He looked rebellious, with an angular face, as if he was a beautiful, dangerous monster nicely packaged.
Beth didn't expect Edward to arrive so soon. Coincidentally, Ken was in the same villa area on Pearl Road today, a few minutes' drive away.
The arrival of Edward obviously made the atmosphere of the scene more subtle and tense. The two of three bullies in S City gathered together, and they hated each other the most. The host and hostess looked at each other for fear that they would lift the roof.
Jane looked at Edward with a calm face, only with an unexpected surprise in her eyes. Edward walked past her, looking straightly forward as if she was standing in the air.
Everyone was afraid of Edward, except for Ken who was sitting on the chair without batting his eyelids.

Edward looked at Grace, who was surrounded by a group of people across the long table. He didn't say anything, and Grace had been so frightened that she didn't dare to raise her head. She could only ask timidly, "Edward, why are you here?"
Jane instantly thought of the gossip that Jennifer told her. Ken had dated Edward's two cousins, and it seemed that Grace was one of them.
No wonder she was so fierce and dared to offend Ken openly. It turned out that she had Edward behind her back.
Edward looked at Grace, with no anger or happiness on his face, and only said, "Don't drink if you can't. If you drink too much, you will talk nonsense everywhere. You treat stinky things as fragrant ones and even regard Don Juan as your beloved. People who know you know that's because you're drunk, but if they don't, they will only think you're a fool."
These words clearly seemed to be scolding Grace, but everyone understood that it was scolding Ken.
Ken had no expression on his face, and said coldly, "Perfect timing. Let your cousin see you're rancid or stinky?"
Edward didn't even look at Ken and replied, "Where are the flies? We don't need outsiders to intervene when our family members talk. Didn't your father teach you the rules? Do you need me to teach you?"
Ken laughed instead of being angry, "What a coincidence. I just want to be your father, and teach you how to manage your people. Don't let them come out like a dog with a bone."
Grace said angrily, "Ken, you bastard. Who started it first? I'm disgusted that you hooked up with Jane in front of me. If you want to make out, just go out. Don't do that under my nose!"
Hearing the words, the smile on Ken's face disappeared gradually. Grace dependent on Edward had no fear and went too far. Jane even wanted to scold and ask her, "Why bother?"
The atmosphere fell into a tense silence again. After a few seconds, Ken said coldly, "Grace, if you get in trouble for your foul mouth one day, don't blame me for not reminding you today."
His eyes were too terrifying. Grace was instinctively afraid, but she didn't want to lose face, so she raised her chin and said, "I just said, you..."
"Shut up."
Edward interrupted her with a cold face.
Grace's voice stopped abruptly. The only one she could rely on was Edward, so she didn't dare to offend him.
Edward asked in public, "Do you know that Jane has a relationship with me?"
Jane suddenly became nervous, and then a numb feeling ran through her limbs.
Grace's face turned pale. After listening to the people around her talking about Jane all night, she thought Jane was just the tutor of the Smith family. How could she know that Jane also had a relationship with Ken?
She knew how Edward would do. People who were close to him would never contact Ken, otherwise, they would piss him off. Back then, she desperately wanted to fall in love with Ken and hid it from him. In the end, she ended up break-up and losing fame. If it weren't for their kinship, he would have ignored her.
Edward's words made everyone shocked. "A relationship with him..."
Grace didn't dare to speak out, and Edward commanded in a cold voice, "Come out."
Grace walked to him obediently, and the people around her handed her bag. She was stunned and walked around the table like a puppet. Just as she was about to stand beside Edward, he suddenly turned his head to Jane and said, "Would you like to go?"
Jane nodded without hesitation. "Yeah."
Jennifer handed the bag to Jane and gave her a wink. Jane followed Edward to the door. After only a few steps, she heard Ken's voice coming behind her, "My sister, I'm sorry for today. I'll take a rain check."
The words made Jane's toes curl. She thought she was done for. She's definitely going to be famous tonight.
