Chapter 234 I'm Threatening You with My Family's Force. What Can You do to Me?
"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Rhett vented all his anger for having been spanked on his sister Eloise. As a seven-year-old child, he was shorter than his sister, but he hit his sister hard-kicking, striking, and scratching her. Eloise could not control him, and new wounds soon appeared on the back of her hand.
The restaurant workers nearby all watched them. No one went up to separate them. For one thing, they thought that the disobedient child would calm down after messing around for a while; for another, they were worried that the child's parents might blame them if they stopped him their way. After all, the children today were all precious. If their parents were unreasonable, those who stopped them would be in trouble.
Eloise was mentally and physically exhausted. These years, under the "guidance" of her parents, she had long formed the habit of resigning herself to adversity. Even if she was bullied, she would not fight back. She was only ashamed because they were in a public area.
"Rhett, don't mess around anymore! You may not feel ashamed, but I will!" Eloise said with a frown. But Rhett did not care about it. Instead, he acted more irrationally.
In a moment, Eloise wished to rush out, running into a car or jumping into the sea. In a word, she didn't want to repeat the same terrible life every day. She was really tired...
Her parents were partial, and the onlookers simply watched them. The only one who cared about her feelings was Jane, but she was being fooled by her parents with false promises in the private room.
No one knew better than Eloise that nothing would change, and that Jane could protect her for a while, but could not protect her forever.
The tiredness and desperation from the depths of her heart made her give up resistance. She was simply tearing Rhett's clothes mechanically, letting him pinch her exposed skin hard. It hurt so much, but she didn't care about it anymore.
When they were tearing and pushing, someone walked past them. Eloise did not notice whether the person had bumped into Rhett or the other way around, but she heard an unhappy voice, "You ran into me!"
Rhett looked up and saw two people. One was tall, about 1.8 meters, and slightly strong, but the guy's age was hard to tell. The other was a little shorter, a little more than 1.7 meters. Although he looked cold, one could tell at a glance that he was a teenager, less than fifteen years old.
Ignoring the voice, Rhett attacked his sister with great force. Justin's eyes turned colder, and he said again, "You ran into me!"
Eloise pushed Rhett and said, "You ran into someone. Apologize to him."
Rhett, who was rude to his family, was only interested in bullying his family. But when facing outsiders, he would ignore them.
Justin said that twice, but Rhett ignored him. He suddenly held Rhett's collar and pulled hard, and then the latter flew, with Eloise even being dragged slightly forward.
Before Eloise could find out what was going on, Justin had begun shouting at her brother, "Haven't you heard what I said to you?"
Rhett's face was full of mucus and tears because of weeping, so he could not see the person in front of him clearly, but he tried hard to arrogantly struggle and scratch.
Actually, Justin could easily avoid his hands, but he did not, letting Rhett scratch his hand once. Then he had a reason to hit the boy. Seeing Rhett raising his leg to kick him, Justin threw a kick, sending him going back one meter away and falling on the ground after a roll.
So frightened, Eloise was instinctively about to walk up but was stopped by Henry, preventing her from going over.
Rhett was a stubborn boy. He was dumbstruck after this kick, but he was not wounded. Soon he got up with a face full of wrath to kill and rushed at Justin.
Justin was good at dealing with all kinds of dissatisfied people. He could even fight adults, let alone an imp. He easily clamped Rhett's arm and came to his back, avoiding being kicked by him. Then, as if dragging a sack, he took him toward the washroom.
Quite anxious, Eloise had tried to rush over a few times, but Henry stopped her and whispered, "You just let him bully you like that? We are not bad guys. Don't be afraid."
Eloise looked up at Henry and found that this was an unfamiliar face, thinking whether she needed to shout for help. Seeing through what she was thinking, Henry lowered his voice and said, "We're all students of Miss Cooper."
Hearing "Miss Cooper", Eloise froze for a moment but then strangely calmed down. Jane was sincerely nice to her, and she wouldn't hurt her.
Henry finally revealed their identity to Eloise. As for Justin, he was so ferociously dragging Rhett without scruples. Afraid that something bad would happen, a restaurant worker came up to stop Justin.
Justin snarled coldly, "Go away."
The restaurant worker dissuaded, "Don't be serious with a little child. He's naive and ignorant..."
These words seemed to infuriate Justin. "The little child is naive and ignorant? Who is born sensible? You can tell a child's future adulthood by observing their behavior when they are young. This child is already seven. Is it really enough to defend him by saying he's only a child after he did something wrong?" Justin asked inwardly.
He hated those who could see no truth or confuse right and wrong the most. Therefore, when he looked at the restaurant worker, there was a strong revenge-taking desire in his eyes.
Henry spoke aloud, "My brother is Vincent Perez. I'll see who dares to stop him today!"
In S City, people might not have met Vincent Perez, but everyone had heard of him. These restaurant workers instantly fixed their eyes on Henry and became hesitant. Taking this chance, Justin dragged Rhett into the washroom.
One of the restaurant workers with sharp eyes said in a low voice, "I seem to have seen Vincent bring him to dinner here before."
Therefore, no one dared to interfere.
This was the first time in his life that Henry had threatened others with his family's force. He really could not bear it. Now he had seen with his own eyes that there was such a terrible person in this world. Whether the brothers were older or the sisters were, the brothers should always take care of their sisters, shouldn't they? How come there was an asshole who hits his family?
The restaurant workers, who could not give a hand, had to disperse. Yet, in the lobby, Eloise said still with worried eyes, "Where has he taken Rhett?"
Henry took her arm to walk outside. Only when they reached the restaurant entrance did Henry let go of her and said, "Don't worry. Justin promised Miss Cooper that he would not hurt your brother. Initially, we came to avenge Miss Cooper, but she didn't allow us to do it. We almost gave up, but your brother angered us then. Maybe you can swallow the insult on this matter, but we can't. Why did he have to bully you like that? Surely, you can beat him. Then pin him to the ground and give him a good beating, making him afraid. I bet he won't have the guts to offend you anymore in the future."
Eloise had not expected to meet Henry and Justin under such circumstances. She had thought that they would first meet on an outing organized by Jane after she attended the ACT.
Suddenly feeling sad, she wiped her tears away and could not utter a word.
Seeing the scratches on the back of her hand, Henry felt he could not bear to see her hand. "Your brother is a b*stard! A scum can be anyone at any age. Don't worry about him anymore. Let Justin teach how he should behave and be your brother in the future. Let me take you to a hospital."
But Eloise instantly shook her head. Then Henry said, "How silly you are! If you stay here and wait, when they have learned this, your parents will blame you for not caring about your brother. I'll take you to the hospital to buy medicine. When we get back, you can tell them that I forcefully took you away so that you had no time to shout for help. Those who complain will get benefits. You're also your parents' child, and you should also cry and complain. Let's see what they will do to you. Everyone is partial, but they can't cross the bottom line. You think of them as your family, but what is the way they use to treat you?"
With her head down, Eloise shed tears, which fell to the ground. She was desperate because Henry's words were the reality.
