Chapter 42 The True Intention of Aaron
Yolanda's kiss was so quick that Aaron didn't have time to realize what had happened before it ended. It was like a tiny snowdrop fell on his lips and was instantly melted away by the body temperature.
Aaron was stunned for a few seconds, then he asked in a hoarse voice, "What were you doing just now?"
Yolanda peeked at him and couldn't figure out what he meant by saying that, so she pretended to sound reasonable, "So what? Why can't I kiss you? You've kissed me before."
Aaron was speechless.
What a good kiss.
It was like being scratched by a little cat, which had a fatal attraction to a man who had been controlling himself for three days.
The kiss only made him want her more.
Aaron suddenly lifted Yolanda and put her on the desk, facing him.
He put his hands on both sides of Yolanda. His body slightly leaned against her. He asked, "Who taught you this?"
The air seemed to be sucked away. The man's breath brushed on her cheeks. Yolanda was a little nervous, and her breathing was a little messy. She still tried to keep calm, "It's you, of course."
"Did I kiss you like this?"
Yolanda didn't answer him back.
She thought, "I just couldn't do it exactly like you."
Yolanda was forced to keep leaning back, and she finally felt a trace of regret.
Did she lose her mind? How could she believe what Phoebe said about kissing him?
Now it seemed that it was difficult to end this situation without making something happen.
Yolanda looked around and tried her best to control the situation. She said calmly, "I just want to show you that I didn't bear any burden. If you don't believe me, look over there."
She pointed at the balcony. Yolanda slipped away from his arms as Aaron looked over.
She swooped to the door as if she had won this cat-and-mouse game. She couldn't help but be proud, "I wish you a safe journey tomorrow. See you when we sign the contract. Good night."
Yolanda then went to open the door, but she couldn't after twisting the door for a long time.
What? Was it locked?
She turned to look at Aaron.
The man looked at her calmly. Her eyes seemed to say that "you keep running, and I'll just wait".
Yolanda didn't know what to do. She was like a trapped prey, and the pride had gone away.
"Aren't you running away?" Aaron walked over slowly.
The closer he got, the faster Yolanda's heart beat.
Ahhhh... Don't come here, please.
Never would she believe Phoebe's words again.
Just when she felt the black figure was about to completely cover her, someone knocked on the door.
"Yolanda, are you there?"
It was Marc's voice.
Yolanda immediately pressed against the door and said, "Yes. I'm here. Coming."
Then she reminded Aaron who was approaching, "It's my brother."
She thought, "My brother is here. You'd better restrain yourself. We can sit down and have a good talk. There's no need to lock the door."
Wait, why did he lock the door?
Yolanda finally realized that this man had had bad intentions from the beginning.
Aaron stopped in front of Yolanda without saying anything, nor did he want to open the door.
He did that as if he was deliberate. He just stared at Yolanda.
The distance between them was very close. Yolanda was suppressed by his aura and did not dare to make a sound.
After all, Marc was on the other side of the door.
What if Aaron wanted to have sex with her right here right now, how could she face her brother?
"Mr. Jensen?" Marc knocked on the door again.
Aaron didn't seem to hear it. He put his hands in his trouser pockets, and he was looking calm.
Yolanda felt that she had created a hot Asura field, and she herself was attacked from both sides. There was no way to end this.
She closed her eyes and bravely took a step back, "Today is in a hurry. I will prove it again some other day, OK?"
After a few seconds of silence, Aaron twitched the corners of his mouth and seemed to laugh.
It was not a kind laugh to Yolanda. It made her back feel cold as if she had sold herself to him.
But she couldn't think about it now. She should get out of here first.
Fortunately, Aaron seemed to be satisfied with Yolanda's promise. He put his hand lightly on the armrest and turned around twice. Then the door opened.
Yolanda was relieved with a deep breath.
Marc stood outside the door, and Yolanda walked slowly to her brother. She brushed her hair guiltily and said, "It's hard to write a contract."
Marc glanced at the two of them and said, "Understood, Yolanda has just entered the industry. She was unfamiliar with this. Mr. Jensen could give her some time. Practice makes perfect."
Yolanda nodded at first, then she accidentally caught Aaron's gaze and realized...
Marc seemed to mock her, and his words just made things even more awkward.
What did he mean by saying practice makes perfect?
What the hell.
Being afraid that Aaron might say something worse, Yolanda immediately added, "Well, it's getting late. I won't disturb your rest. Please email me the contract."
Then she dragged Marc and left.
...
When they were getting off the elevator, Marc asked, "What's the matter? He doesn't seem very happy. Is there any dispute over the contract?"
Yolanda, who had just run away from the tiger's mouth, had a burst of heat on her cheeks. She said calmly, "No, we had a good talk."
Not only did they talk well verbally, but they also made full use of certain body language to deepen this conversation.
They walked to the parking lot. After getting into the car and fastening their seat belts, Yolanda realized Marc's shirt was a little messy.
She asked curiously, "What are you talking about with Sister Jensen? Why are your clothes messed up?"
"Really?" Marc said calmly, He smoothed the folds and added, "We just chatted casually."
Yolanda didn't say anything.
She didn't mind it either. She thought that since Marc and Rose had just met, it was only natural for them to chat casually. Otherwise, would they chat in bed?
Yolanda looked down and thought about what had happened between herself and Aaron.
Although she was nervous, she still couldn't help but smile as she recalled the initiative kiss.
As it turned out, a woman would feel different between being kissed by a man and kissing a man initiatively.

Yolanda wanted to express her feelings so much. This was the first time she actively kissed another man. It was so exciting and thrilling that she could say it for a while day.
Phoebe luckily became the person Yolanda wanted to share with.
[Really? Are you serious? That's crazy. You've had sex with the most powerful man in the entertainment industry. Good for you.]
Phoebe texted Yolanda to show her admiration.
[I didn't sleep with him, OK? I just gently kissed his lips.]
[Trust me, he will kiss you back strongly]
Then, Phoebe added a picture saying: Woman, you are playing with fire.
These words made Yolanda think it seriously for a few seconds, then she was relieved.
Just let it be. What happened had happened. Now that she had got the contract and could work with Aaron. Frankly speaking, she had both won her career and her loving relationship.
With that thought in mind, Yolanda turned to look at Marc and said proudly, "I told you he will agree to work with me."
Marc said, "Right. I really didn't expect that."
There were other things that surprised him. For example, after being fooled by Yolanda, Aaron could still forgive her and make compromises for her.
The appearance of Rose was another big surprise.
At that moment, he seemed to believe what Yolanda used to say...
You couldn't plan anything.
It was all meant to be.
Marc then said, "I decided not to go to Ustrana."
Yolanda was stunned and asked, "Aren't you gonna leave next month?"
"There are things to deal with. I might consider working here temporarily."
Yolanda didn't know what to say.
The next day, Aaron and his men left Darlington as planned.
On the same day, the bidder of the popular project "The Moment in Love" was exposed by the media.
Yolanda Walter and Pisces Studio became famous for the first time.
Yolanda had earned herself many labels, such as "Daughter of the Former Thenoma Group", "The New Beauty Investor" and "A Different Existence in the Capital World". At the same time, all kinds of gossip spread in the capital circle:
[Azel Group intended to win this project. They were serious about this project and sent Aaron to the auction. However, Yolanda finally won the bid after two rounds.]
[I've heard that Aaron and his men left the auction early. They were not looking happy about it.]
[It's useless to win the project. She was too young to understand the rules. Things will go against her as she offended Aaron.]
[Her company is not competent enough for this project. Why would she fight for it? Did someone support her?]
[I bet she is more than capable to do this project. I'm looking forward to her performance.]
Although there were many doubts, it was undeniable that overnight...
Everyone in the capital circle knew the name of Yolanda.
Yolanda also felt the pressure and motivation in the process of starting a business. She realized that she had held a big problem. It was the first time that she should try her best to do something, and the whole business circle was watching her.
On the third day when Aaron left the city, he sent Yolanda the modified contract.
They seemed to cooperate with each other, but the truth was what Marc once said: Azel Group was basically supporting Yolanda's company.
Aaron invested 70 million in his own name to help Yolanda. Besides, he also gave her a mature development team, which was meant to cooperate with Yolanda. All the decisions should be made by Yolanda herself.
In other words, Aaron offered Yolanda a chessboard and pieces, but she was on her own to win the game.
Seeing the end of the contract, Yolanda widened her eyes slightly...
It said that Pisces Studio should move its office to Capital before April 20th.
How could this be a protocol?
Why would he care about her working place? And the deadline was so close. She just got this contract on April 15th for god's sake.
Aaron was meddling too much.
Yolanda called Aaron immediately. But as soon as the call rang, she thought of an idea.
Yolanda subconsciously hung up.
Her heart was pounding. She kept looking at the lines in the contract and thought it through.
She thought, "... He is not merely meddling too much."
"He is showing me his true feelings."
"He must want to see me and feels awkward to say it straightly. That's why he writes this protocol to satisfy himself."
"Ahhhh..."
"That's the true reason."
Yolanda believed she had figured out the truth and happily circled around in her chair. She was so happy that she picked up the phone without seeing who had called.
She would be nice even if it was a scam call.
Yolanda said gently, "Hello."
Aaron had goosebumps before opening his mouth.
The other side didn't reply to her. Yolanda felt something was wrong, so she looked at the caller and returned back to normal.
"Er... I didn't know it was you."
"Who else did you think?"
Yolanda was speechless.
"Why do you call me?"
The man said that calmly.
Such a prude.
Yolanda smiled and pretended to be innocent. She asked, "Brother, I've seen the contract. Don't you think it's inappropriate for me to move to Capital so soon?"
"Why?"
Yolanda didn't know what to say.
He would not admit his intention.
Yolanda began to tell him all the inconveniences as there was a voice in her mind that kept saying...
"Say you miss me."
"Now."
"Say you just ask me to move because you miss me so much."
After Yolanda listed all the reasons why she couldn't move, she was looking forward to his reaction.
To her surprise, the man slowly opened his mouth after a few seconds...
"Most of the resources in this industry are in Capital. I am not playing with you by giving you 70 million. You need to contact and be familiar with this circle in Capital, not Darlington. Do you understand how many fields are involved in this project?"
Yolanda didn't say anything.
Her smile froze on her face, and her restless heart gradually calmed down.
All the romantic things imagined by her had disappeared by Aaron's indifferent official tone.
After a long time, she said softly, "I got it."
He was no more than a ruthless capitalist.
It was Yolanda herself that thought too much.
"You can go back to work now, bye." She said hopelessly.
Just as she was about to hang up, Aaron called her again, "Yolanda."
Yolanda moved the phone back to her ear and asked, "What's the matter?"
After three seconds of silence, the man's voice came from the other side of the phone...
"I'm not him."
"I don't like a long-distance relationship."
