Chapter 125 The Whereabouts Are Revealed

Chapter 125 The Whereabouts Are Revealed
Those people considered him as a thorn in their flesh because of the honorable position. How could they let his father who suffered from grave illness be cured?
Since Huang Husheng had a solution, he would be the thorn in their flesh and they wanted to eliminate him as soon as possible.
He thought of Huang Husheng's encounter few days ago. Luckily, he escaped from the town. It seemed those who attacked him were not refugees.
While he was thinking, Xia Lixung asked him, "Where's Mr. Su? Why isn't he with you?"
Su Xianwu was Wu Zongyuan's master. Back then when Su Xianwu was delegated to Yong State as a superior, Wu Zongyuan also followed him to go there under emperor's demand.
Su Xianwu was a talent who was proficient in both scholarship and martial arts. Otherwise, the emperor would not nominate him as Wu Zongyuan's master.
But why Wu Zongyuan was in such a desolate place with such ragged impression.
The light in Wu Zongyuan's eyes extinguished when they talked about Mr. Su, "He was killed by them."
"What?! That's impossible?!"
Su Xianwu ranked in the list of admirable people in Xia Lixing's heart. When he fought with Tujue, he was trapped by them and almost died there. Ultimately, they turned the table owing to Su Xianwu's immediate help.
In other words, Su Xianwu saved his life.
His eyes met with Wu Zongyuan's, and he could clearly see the tears in Wu Zongyuan's eyes, "It's true. I saw it with my own eyes. I watched them cut off his head and set him up for collaborators."
Xia Lixing slapped the table angrily and stood up, "They killed him and still wanted to pour the sewage on him?! Poor Master Su who had great reputation for his whole life but ended up like this!"
Wu Zongyuan also controlled his mood and sat in front of the table with his back straight. It was just a dilapidated wooden house, but he made people feel they were in the spectacular imperial palace.
"I (the King) will clear his name some day!"
It's the first time after he went out of the imperial palace that he called himself the King, which seemed to remind himself that he would not let those who died because of him sacrifice in vain.
Hearing this, Xia Lixing hurried up to bend and make a boxing ceremony, "King, it's dangerous to continue to stay here. Let's leave here immediately!"
Wu Zongyuan startled, "What do you mean?! There are vast fields with small population. It's not easy for them to find me and I have left signs so that Green Dragon Organization will find me according to the signs."
"Do you remember in the daylight that girl lost your pendant?"
After Xia Lixing's reminding, Wu Zongyuan suddenly realized the crisis.
His expression became serious and he nodded after transient silence, "Then...we do have to leave here."
The two left overnight. The next morning, when Da Cheng came to call them for breakfast, he found that the house was already empty.
He searched every corner of the house, and in the end he only found a rag on the table with a line written on it. But Da Cheng was illiterate.
He frowned for a long time, ignoring the burning charcoal kiln, and hurried towards the house.
Su Jiuyue was the most knowledgeable person in the family. All the people surrounded her and stared at her with a strong thirst for knowledge.
Su Jiuyue was under great pressure. Actually she couldn't recognize the characters all, but she could guess out the outline.

"According my understanding, he presumably left in a hurry and told us not to search for him."
Liu Cuihua patted her lap, "How could he just leave?! We didn't find the pendant for him!"
Su Jiuyue bit her lip and reflected on it, then she said: "Mum, I still want to go to the town today. No matter whether he leaves, I should find the pendant. If I meet him in future, I could return it to him. We can't just the bunch of thieves take advantage of it!"
Tian Xiuniang rested her two hands in her sleeves and sneered aside: "Such a adult can't even put away a little item and let it be stolen away. In my point, it can't be find out any more."
Su Jiuyue was silent. She did lost the thing, so it's fine that sister blamed on her. She was careless and failed to put away the thing.
But Liu Cuihua couldn't bear it, "Shoo! Didn't you lose things before?"
Tian Xiuniang retorted, "I did, but not such an invaluable item!"
"Last year, I asked you to go to the town to buy something for New Year. There was a total of 300 big coins. And you lost all of them without leaving a penny. Aren't you embarrassed to say that it's not valuable?" Liu Cuihua asked.
Tian Xiuniang awkwardly smiled and said with a slight lack of confidence: "It's really not as precious as a jade pendant..."
Even so, she didn't continue any longer. She didn't lose the money last year. The fact was her parents were too poor, she couldn't stand it and gave the money to her parents.
She was prepared to be beaten. But she didn't expected her mother-in-law just reproached her without beating her.
After breakfast, Liu Cuihua took Su Jiuyue to the town again.
Ox Head Town was not big, but it's still not easy to find out a person.
She thought the person would sell it after stealing the thing, so she inquired all the pawnshops. But all managers said they didn't see the person.
After seeing Su Jiuyue was in frustration, Liu Cuihua dragged her hand and comforted her: "Don't worry. Since you remember the appearance of the thief, let's go to the police!"
The entrance of the yamen (government office in feudal China) was full of people queuing up to receive relief food. Liu Cuihua led Su Jiuyue to report the case when suddenly someone behind them said, "What are you doing here?"
Liu Cuihua and Su Jiuyue were scared out of the blue, and they turned back quickly to see a burly man in official uniform standing behind them.
Taking a closer look, this man was actually Ah Da.
It's better to have an acquaintance when they needed to deal with a case, although they just met the acquaintance once.
Liu Cuihua was glad in her heart and immediately made a bow, "Officer, it's very lucky to meet you again."
Owing to Su Yi, Ah Da always held a good attitude to Su Jiuyue's family.
"Here's yamen. Don't wander here if you have nothing to do." His reminder was kind. Although it seemed peaceful, there were several forces flooding into the little Ox Head Town.
For those somebodies, the civilians like them were just ants. Sometimes they may be unlucky enough to be hurt. If so, General Su would have no time to come here even if he wanted to save them.
Su Jiuyue considered him as the last straw. She hurried up to say: "Officer, I lost my thing and I couldn't find it by myself. So I come here to ask for help."
Ah Da frowned, "What kind of thing? If it's something worthless, just forget it. Recently the officers are busy in the Ox Head Town and no one will care about those trivial matters."
Hearing this, Su Jiuyue became anxious, "No something worthless. It's a pendant!"
