When Alas and Nathan arrived at the meeting point to see Frederick, accompanied by five other armed men who were also tall and strong, he was suddenly circumvented by the suspicion that one of the ferocious mafiosos would not have fooled them.
He believes that now is the time for Frederick to stop looking for Erin, and if everything goes as planned, he will tell Erin the truth when he arrives at the hotel; it's a good thing he also assigned two strong men watching over Erin while he was away.

"We have the cash, and we'll work out a deal before you take it." He said it in a serious tone and averted his gaze to the window, where he saw Nathan inside the car, before returning his gaze to Frederick. "If you don't cause any trouble or hunt for Raylee's daughter, we'll hand you the money."
Frederick wrapped his hand around his back, contemplating Alas' proposal, and as he was ready to speak, Alas cut him off.
"The billionaire tends to increase the quantity of cash he will give you, from $100 million to $200 million…" Alas said.
Frederick's expression changed and he smiled with accomplishment; he clapped his hand and rubbed his beard, wondering what he was going to say. He was fascinated by money, and money was also a big help for himself and his organization, so he took a step closer to Alas, whispering in his ear, "Deal..."
and because of what Frederick said, Alas issued a contract confirming their agreement stating that if Frederick did not fulfill the agreement, the group of mafia leaders would hunt him down.
"I don't care about the billionaire's wife any longer; the money suffices." The contract was signed, and Alas immediately told his men to get Nathan out of the car, according to Frederick, the strong and powerful billionaire is in his front now and makes him swallow excessively.
"It's important for you to remember that. You don't want to oppose a billionaire like him." Alas said calmly while waiting for Nathan.
"I don't like enemies, my friend. I like to be peaceful…" Frederick replied with a chuckle.

Nathan was now standing in front of Frederick, carrying a significant sum of money in a suitcase. He gave it the suitcase after staring at it with a blank expression.
Then Frederick asked one of his guys to count the money to ensure that it was indeed one hundred million dollars. When it was verified that the money was correct, his face flushed. Then he shook Nathan's hand and said, "Thank you for your generosity, Mister Velasco," before telling him to leave. Nathan just stared at him, and he didn't say anything because he didn't want to talk to this individual, and he was impatient to get to the hotel and savored and kissed Erin on a successful negotiation.
"Until again, Alas." he said this as he brother-hugged Alas and Alas just said "Anything for you, brother." He just nodded and smiled and immediately turned his back to get in his car.
Nathan then vanished in front of Alas, hurrying away, and he only blinked his eyes as he remembered his wife waiting for him to return; Alas wasn't faithful, but Alas doesn't believe in love... he only wants a wife in life. Alas' life is complicated. He turned his gaze to his men who is waiting for his statement and he says "Let's Party…" he means that they also received a sum of money from Nathan that's why they are going to celebrate.
WHEN Nathan arrived at the hotel where he and Erin were staying, he walked straight to their room and discovered Erin talking while she was sleeping and still sobbing, so he woke her up since she appeared to be having a nightmare.
"Shhh it's okay...yeah it's okay," he said in a hushed tone while hugging her and caressing her.
Erin laid her chin on Nathan's chest and inhaled his scent, as well as the sound of his heart and breathing, which made her feel better.
"Where have you been?" she softly spoke to Nathan.
"Somewhere…" he replied while hugging her in the bed, caressing her soft hair.
"What on earth happened to you all night?" she asked him and raised her two hands while yawning. While searching for a solution to her inquiry, he instead came across her crying and enquired about her nightmare. She shrugged and took a deep breath before saying
"I had vivid dreams about my troubled past, including my parents and the event that left me blind as a child."
"W-what did you just say?" He asked her, looking confused.
"I lost my sight at the age of nine and it took me eight years to find a donor. Even though my doctor told me that a match was impossible, it happened after years of waiting. You know how hard that is for me." she sounds brittle and about to cry but she restrained herself.
"Oh..I'm sorry about that, that was really terrible and it's terrifying losing your eyesight at a young age because of the accident," he said in a low and rough voice.
"Let's forget about it...it was in my past, and the past is the past."
Erin, on the other hand, was still curious about the mysterious woman who donated her eyes for her because she was curious and appreciative because she knew the woman who donated to her was still alive.
Still wondering who was that mysterious woman, its means a lot to her to get to know that woman.
She smiled when she looked to see Nathan's face it was asleep already and snoring soundly. She immediately sleeps also and snuggles to Nathan's warm body, she doesn't usually do this to him but now she felt comfortable. That makes her question herself but she ignored it and just sleeps again.
