Nathan and Erin were enjoying breakfast together in the morning, and Erin saw that Nathan appeared to be having a good time, so she inquired since she was inquisitive.
As she melted the butter into her toasted bread and extended her hand to obtain the jam on his side, she asked him.
"What's the matter with you, why are you having a blast this morning?"
"I have something to tell you because of last night, but you have to have your breakfast first, and then we have to go to the beach because I want to confess to you something, that's my plan for today." Nathan smiled as he ate his toasted bread in front of her, perplexing her.
she squinted her eyes and shook her head, "so you don't want to confess right now? ...as in right now, in front of my food. " she murmured with a smirk as she studied him.
"Not right now...I want to be more romantic as ever," he said.
"You're crazy…" she chuckled and rolled her eyes.
Erin checks her phone again, puzzled as to why her friend Olivia hasn't called. Nathan noticed her checking the phone and hummed his finger on the table, indicating that he didn't want Olivia to be ahead of him because he wanted to tell Erin himself, so he stood up and said, "When you're done, we're leaving."
Erin was taken aback by what he said, and because she was eager to find out what Nathan would confess to her, she stood up and snapped her finger at him, saying, "well... let's go, can't wait for it."
Erin dressed simply because she knew it didn't matter what they were going to walk in, and as she exited the room, she was surprised to find Nathan and immediately hold her hand, as though she felt this day was quite important to him…
"So where we going, mister Velasco?" she ask with a formal tone and smirked.
Nathan just ignored her while they're walking towards the car.
Erin was fatigued as well, so she rolled her shoulder and massaged it as they went towards Nathan's car. "I'm in desperate need of a massage and some exercise, what do you think?" She murmured as she climbed into the driver's seat, despite the fact that Nathan was her designated driver for the day.
Nathan sighed and winked at her that makes her feel uneasy so she rolled her eyes towards him and she raised her middle finger.
"Don't raise your middle finger at me, or I'll use my middle finger on your middle," He said this while laughing and starting the engine.
Erin's eyes tightened when she heard that from Nathan, but it was a snarky habit of hers, so she leaned forward and extended her middle finger toward his face, saying "fuck... off," before returning to her seat and taking a deep breath.
"Yes… baby." Nathan said while biting his lips and start driving.
Nathan felt soothed by what Erin did to him since he was the only woman he encountered who dared to do it to him out of all the women he met. Erin was unaware of Nathan's eye observation of her body because she was looking out the window while filming the gorgeous scenery with her cellphone.
Erin's gorgeous legs and white underwear were partially exposed to him, and Erin was unintentionally aware of everything while shooting shots around as Nathan drove slowly, enjoying what he saw. "Isn't it a wonderful view?... It's so quiet," she said and moved her body to do another shot again. Nathan was swallowing and saying, "Yes, the view is great. It's perfect and lovely..." " His gaze was drawn to her bare legs.
Then Erin snuggled in and checked her phone for pictures, as Nathan resumed driving. He bit his lower lip, picturing Erin naked and making love to him, then shook his head, realizing he wasn't doing it correctly; yes, he wanted the girl, but he'd go through the proper process. Women approach him despite the fact that he never pushes them. He smiled at his thinking and raised an eyebrow at Erin, who was also looking at him. Nathan grinned at Erin, making her feel like a fool.
Erin could feel the breeze and hear the magnificent sound of the waves when they got to the beach, so she ran to the sand and laughed. She had no idea how lovely the beach they traveled to was, so she turned to Nathan, who was watching her from afar, and waved her hand to let it go to her.
"Wow...thank you…" she screamed from afar and jumping with joy.
Nathan smiled and shoved his hands in his pockets while walking towards her.
He didn't know what to say first and was worried about Erin's reaction, so as he moved towards Erin, he pondered what he should say and how he could persuade her not to be upset with him for concealing the fact that Erin's relative's daughter and her best friend Olivia's life were in danger yesterday if the plan was not successful.
Erin's smile vanished as she noticed Nathan was staring at her intently; she was concerned about what he would say to her, but she just stood there watching him speak or not.
"I want you to speak...you make me nervous. Is it important or something? Please say something right now... I don't have all time to wait and wondering...." she asked him with a brittle voice.
"This is about your life, your parents, and me, Erin. Last week, I learned some horrible news from my investigator concerning your father's business: they discovered that your father was a drug smuggler, and your mother was too... your parents' deaths were also the result of an accident. They killed your parents because your father embezzled $200 million from Frederick, who was a significant client of his. So Frederick went to your aunt Isabel's mansion, and they threatened the life of your relative's son if you just can not be discovered immediately, as well as Olivia's life." Erin's pulse raced as she heard all of this from Nathan; all this time, she appeared to be blind, oblivious to what was going on and why it was kept hidden from her. Is it because she was a woman and so weak in resolving the issue? She is perplexed as to why Nathan went to such lengths to rescue her life while putting his own in jeopardy. She grieved because she felt she was a useless daughter, and she also cried because her parents would still be alive today if they hadn't been assassinated. However, she comprehends all... but she refuses to embrace the ugly truth.
"Because they're both mafias, I bargain with Alas... and Alas negotiates with Frederick. So we resolved the problem, and I paid him a quantity of money for no longer harassing you and putting your life in jeopardy... I did all of this because…" he gulped and blink and don't want to continue his sentence while Erin was crying in front of him waiting for his reason...but it did not happen.
