Nathan is driving to Olivia's house to pick up Erin, but he observes someone following his black and tinted car and knows who it is. "Damn it, why is this man following me?"
He came to a complete stop, and the wind began to blast. He removes his glasses and then opens the window of his vehicle. The car that had been following him had also come to a halt.
Nathan drew his gun because he was certain he would be confronted by the enemy at any moment. When he gets out of his car, he notices in his rearview mirror that Luke is following him.
"What the fuck are you looking for, Luke?" He asked directly before pointing his revolver at Luke. Luke, on the other hand, seemed unconcerned and smirked at him, not even terrified of the gun he was pointing at him.
"Your men are not here, I can kill you so easily and dump your body everywhere…"
"I just want to talk to you; I know you sabotaged my mining company, so there hasn't been much demand," Luke said and put his arms around his chest, looking so confidently that he can intimate the most intimated man.
"Tsk…" Nathan clicks his tongue and pauses for a moment, scrutinizing Luke.
"Are you still surprised as to why I did that? Do you want me to tell Erin about the truth that you attempted to kill her and me at the time?"
"All right, tell her that, and she'll learn the long-kept secret you've been holding from her!" With this man in front of him, Luke threatened him, and wrath raged inside him. Before, he had not treated Luke in this manner, but that changed when Luke fell in love with the lady he adored.
He was simply seeking the proper moment to tell Erin the truth and avoid being upset. He was not going to let Luke derail his plans. He grabbed Luke's pointing rifle with a punch to the face, and when Luke stood up, he fell forward, blood gushing from his mouth as a result of Nathan's tremendous strike.
"You took everything from me! You haven't been able to provide me with a woman I desire to be my wife!" Luke said this while he was heavily breathing and his eyes were filled with anger for him.
But, before Nathan could defend himself from Luke's strike, Luke's fist slammed into his jaw, causing a gush of coppery blood.
"I didn't take her away from you; she chose me over you," Nathan replied as he rubbed his jaw.
Luke was ready to hit him hard in the face when he dashed away and pulled out his gun, pointing it at Luke's head while threateningly shouting, "OK... just one move and I'll put the trigger in your little head…"
His voice was menacing, and he was ready to pull the trigger; he was blinded by fury. However, before he could kill Luke, his men, as well as Luke's men, arrived just in time to separate the two of them in the intense fight. "We haven't finished yet! Nathan, I'm gonna kill you, you moron!" Luke snarled viciously.
Nathan cocked his head because he couldn't believe Luke's mentality; he looked to be frightened of dying and now he's brave in front of him like nothing happened.
He stormed off, his face flushed with wrath, and he refused to speak to anyone. He grimaced at his bleeding lip from the battle with Luke earlier, and now that he's on his way to see Erin, he's not sure what to say to the wife who becomes nervous when something awful happens. So maybe that's Erin's reaction to the amount of sorrow she's experienced in her life.
Nathan is thinking he must tell his most closely guarded secret to Erin; he will tell the true nature of his relationship with Dianne and his son that he has been hidden to a large number of people; he met this girl at the club, and they had a one-night stand; however, he has no idea that it will turn out to be their one-night intercourse that can lead to pregnancy. Dianne has a five-month-old son now, but she still wants to give the baby a DNA test to determine whether it's actually him and feel guilty about it but it's necessary, and he's working on it.
He adores the thought of becoming a parent, but he doesn't show it to others; he only wants to be the father of Erin's child. However, when it came to financial support for keeping the baby-fine that Dianne claims he is the biological father, he went above and beyond, paying for everything to keep Dianne quiet and keep it a secret first, before he will be sure that this is his real son.
On the other side, Erin and Olivia had a pleasant evening. Matthew, Olivia's husband, arrived home from work on time and was surprised to see Erin. At first, he felt awkward, but after a few moments, he felt at ease.
"Wow, Erin, it's great to see you here... thank you for stopping over to visit my wife; she's been bored here for a long time." Matthew kissed her cheek as a warm greeting.
Olivia smiled at them and got from her seat to give a warm hug to her husband. Erin felt happy when she saw two people in love in front of her and said "You guys are amazing... and, by the way, congrats! Soon, you'll be a father!" Erin was referring to Matthew when she stated this and then she smiled.
She seemed to want children as well, but she is unsure if Nathan wants them. Outside, someone suddenly blew a horn, and Erin peered out the window to see who it was, and it was Nathan who had just gotten out of the vehicle. Olivia teases her, "oops your knight and shining have arrived!"
"I've got to get going..."
she would have given Nathan a big bear hug, but she stopped and grimaced when she observed a bruise on Nathan's face and a speck of blood on his lips.
"W-what happened to you, Nathan?" she asked, her lips trembling.
