Desiree's POV
"Thank you sir," I said, I could hear my panting breath when I said that and I guess Mister George Scott noticed that. He looked at me with his warm eyes, he smiled at me and sighed, "Sorry about that." he apologized. I'm quite shocked when he said that, why does a boss like him need to say sorry to his secretary.
"Anyway, this could be your first day of the job…"
"Yes, sir." I chuckle.
Then his phone rings, "I need to answer it, continue to work." He said and exited the office.
And also my phone rings. It's an unknown number so I just decline it but it keeps ringing and getting annoying now. I took it and answer,
"Desiree…" I heard his voice.
"What do you want, Alexander?" I sound annoyed to him.
"I know that I don't have a right to control you anymore because you don't need me anymore, but one thing is for sure that i want you to do one last time, stay away from him." he said.
I chuckled, because he seems so weird. "And why do I have to do that? Please stop being so unreasonable, I need this job and this is my dream! So stop, you stay away from me!" I said as I ended the call.
"God, damn it, he is so annoying." I said, I continued to work with some files on my desk and read everything before I gave it to Mister Scott for a check.
But my mind is still occupied with Alexander.
When I finished everything, I took all my things with me and decided to close the office while everyone on the first floor took the elevator to take their lunch.
"Desiree…" I heard someone call my name, I turned around as my hair swayed. "Oh hi, sir." I said with a smile on my face.
He walked towards me calmly. "Can I invite you for lunch?" He asked. I raised my eyebrow, why he is so good to me, he looks so good to be true.
"Uhm, of course, why not." I agreed with his invitation.
Then when we arrived at the restaurant, I saw some of my coworkers were eating there.
"I always invite them to eat with me every lunch break," He said.
I breathe a sigh of relief because I judged him for being so nice with me yet he does it to everyone.
"Oh, you are so kind sir." I said.
He grabbed a chair for me, "Sit with me."
"Oh? Really?"
"Hi sir, thank you for the lunch again!" Some people said happily, "You are welcome guys." George said while rubbing his chin and the waiter approached him.
"Great, what's on your menu for today?" he asked the french waiter.
Then my phone rings and I smile because it's my mom, "Hi mom." I said while smiling as I answered the call from my mom.
"Oh you sound happy today." she said as she noticed the sound of my voice.
"Yeah, Just happy." I said and I cleared my throat.
"I have something to tell you, Mister Roberts was here and we are so happy that-" I cut my mom from saying that. I became a little worried because I heard her say Roberts, if I'm not mistaken, the surname of the man I really hate now for invading my personal life.
"Wait? What? Mister Roberts?" I said while covering my mouth with my palm.
My mom said, "Yes, love. He is the biggest investor now of your father. I think your friend is the reason why your father's business will bloom again."
I bit my lower lip and thought, What will be his reasons for doing all of this? Is he going to tell my secret to my dad that I used to be his female escort before and if I don't want to obey him, he is going to ruin my life? He is going to make that happen.
"Mom, I will see you soon. I need to eat my lunch now. My boss invited me to lunch."
"Yeah, I heard your new boss is a good guy, but I like Mister Roberts more, but you decide my baby, I will always support you wherever you want to work. Bye love you!"
I closed my phone and put it in my purse, while I frowned looking and reading at the menu.
"Hey, are you okay?" Mister George Scott asked me a question, I smiled at him and said, "Yes, I'm fine and I think I need to leave now, I have some important things to do sir." I informed him, his face doesn't seem pleased at all but I don't care, I need to talk to Alexander now.
"Oh you haven't eaten yet, are you sure you are fine?"
"No, I'm not fine. That's why I need to go to settle things in my life…sorry sir, maybe next time." I said and rose from my seat and took my purse with me, he just nodded his head and stared at me intently. I leave the restaurant while my mind is still thinking about Alexander, he needs to explain to me why he chose to be the biggest investor of dad's business.
My dad is just a small business man, I'm sure Alexander did it on purpose.
I take a subway train to go to Alexander's place. I know that today he must be in his penthouse having a good time with his women.
When I arrive at the building, I walk fast to take the elevator and I am breathing in and out.
Damn, I need to confront him.
The sound of my heels is click clacking the whole floor. I didn't see any people but I just pushed the button of the doorbell.
Then I heard a woman moaning inside, so I kept ringing the doorbell until the door automatically opened and I saw him with another woman, who was doing a blow job on him.
"What the f+ck." I uttered.
