Nina couldn't care less that they had broke up or that he supposedly cheated on her, he was here for her and that was enough! She rushed towards him and hugged him violently while protecting her stomach carefully.
She felt him stiffen in her embrace at first before he then tentatively reached out to hug her.
Justin hugged her while still feeling stunned, he was suprised at the fact that she had embraced him of her own accord afterall he had yet to clear the air about how he supposedly cheated on her. Does.. that mean.. she had forgiven... him? Even though he actually did nothing to wrong her, he was the cause of her pain and heartbreak afterr all and he couldn't forgive himself for that. He vowed the day she had successfully became his girlfriend that he would always make her happy but he had broke his promise, although unintentionally.
He broke out of his reverie when he sensed the wetness on his shirt and heard her light sobs. He panicked, he made her turn her face to meet his and asked anxiously.
"Baby, what is wrong?! Did he hurt you? Where? Let me see!", He asked while turning her around and searching for potential injuries.
Nina felt like crying but also laughing when she saw him being so anxious over her making her face lol somewhat comical.
She ended up laughing with tears in her eyes while answering him.
"I am fine. He didn't get to do anything to me."
"Then why are you crying?", He asked anxiously. "No, this won't do, let's go to the hospital right now."
"I am fine, really", she assured him while holding his face with tenderness in he eyes. She looked into his eyes and said in seriousness.
"I just feel lucky that you are still here after everything. I don't care that you cheated.. scratch that, I do care but I realized that more than that, I care that you will no longer be by my side. That you would no longer be my man."
Justin was stunned silly at her words, he stared at her while being shocked and felt touched beyond words at her confession.
"Nina.. I actually..."
"Sshh!", She placed her index finger gently on his lips. "I love you more than I thought and Ty kidnapping me made me actually realise that. When I think of the fact that I might never see you again, I felt pain more than I thought I was capable of feeling. This could count as a blessing in disguise, I might have lost you forever if this never happened due to my stubbornness to see things through."
"Wait... Wait...", Justin was dazed at the sudden overload of information. He looked incredulously but also with a hint of amusement at her before saying.
"Who said I was ever going to let you go? That was never going to happen, baby. Did you forget the promise we made to each other? As long as we still live and breathe, we were never going to let go of each other's hands!"
It was Nina's turn to be dumbfounded at his words.
"Then... Why?...", She trailed off.
Bringing her to his embrace once again, he said unhurriedly.
"Why did I ignore you? Avoid you? You are silly, baby girl. I was afraid of losing control if I stayed in your presence any longer than I should. You would never know the level of restraint I practiced to see you getting bigger day-by-day with our baby and me not being a part of it. I would even sometimes sneak into your room in the middle of the night just to see your face and greet our baby."
Beyond shocked in his embrace, Nina stared at the man she had always known to be proud but he actually did all the things he would have thought were demeaning on normal days because of her, if she said she wasn't touched then she would be lying. She suddenly felt like crying, crying at her own arrogance and lack of understanding. She should have tried to understand and trust him but she had been too hurt at that time to realise that she wasn't the only one hurting. He was too, he did not actively cheated on her. He might have been drugged and she had always known that there has always been his rivals staring predatorily at him so it might not have been his fault that he got tricked.
"I.. am... Sorry!", She managed to choke out.
"Are you made of water? You seem to enjoy crying now. You don't actually have to feel remorseful because in the end I didn't actually cheat on you. It was a set up by Emily and Tyson. She gave birth already and I did a paternity test with the baby, she is not mine."
Nina almost couldn't believe her ears when she heard him and doubted if she started having auditory hallucinations, She got out of his embrace and stared at him incredulously.
"You.. mean.. it's all fake? Everything?!"
Justin nodded affirmatively. At his positive answer, Nina's eyes turned red as she became enraged.
"I seriously want to kill someone right now! How dare they lie to me?! They played us and cheated me!"
Justin smiled dotingly at her angry appearance and comforted her gently.
"Don't be angry, baby. It isn't good for our baby."
Nina calmed down almost immediately, "You have to make him pay, okay. I never want to see him around us again."
"Yes, milady. Your wish is my command".
Nina went to hug him again and said remorsefully making Justin pat her back gently since it was the only thing he could do right now. He could understand the mood she was right now, since he had felt that way when he had also found out that everything had been a cruel prank on their relationship.
"I am sorry. I made you endure this alone. I was not a understanding fianceé to you."
"In the end you still ended up coming back to my side, didn't you? And I think that's enough for me."
Nina felt warmth in her heart at the amount of love and tolerance this man had for her. She raised her head and his thin kissabke lips came into her view making her stare longingly at them, he happened to catch her red-handed so he deliberately teased her.
"Missed me?", He said in a deep but slow voice with laughter evident in his voice.
She decided to answer with action rather that words and showed him just how bad she had missedd him. She was never a shy one, she always actively went after what she wanted.
In the middle of their deep and lingering kiss, Justin's phone rang.
He had to reluctantly leave her sweet and luscious lips to identify the caller but he still naughtily pecked it twice making Nina giggle girlishly before finally glancing at his phone.
"Sh*t, I forgot to tell the others that we found you. Selena must have called Ryan and he must have informed her. Mom is the one calling." He said to her and quickly answered the call.
"Hello, mom... Yeah.. she is fine... Nothing happened... We are on our way already.... Okay… Bye" He promptly ended the call.
"What did she say?", Nina asked curiously.
"She was worried about you and the baby. I told her nothing happened and that we are already on our way".
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get going."
"Alright, ma'am." His answer made her giggle again in happiness.
