Chapter 119 I'll Drink It for Him, Okay

Chapter 119 I'll Drink It for Him, Okay?
After returning from the fireworks show, Ebony found that Lloyd seemed to be not as angry as before.
She followed up the victory with hot pursuit.
Ebony asked him if he wanted to cultivate a relationship tonight and watch a romance.
Lloyd opened the door with the key. Entering the room, he said in a low voice, "No. Good night."
After speaking, he closed the door.
Ebony looked at the closed door in front of her, stunned for a moment, but could only turn her head back to her room.
The next day, when Ebony was on the set, she was called by Director Knapp.
She had thought Director Knapp was asking her to refund yesterday's money.
She got 500 dollars yesterday but spent 32 dollars. She didn't want to return the rest of the money.
Ebony shuffled there reluctantly.
When she knew the reason why the director called her, she was stunned for a moment. "That is to say, the part of Tulip Elliott is delayed?"
Director Knapp nodded, "It happens that you and Lloyd still need to fit in with each other. Now you have more time to adapt to each other. We can shoot the Elsie May's part first."
Ebony turned to look to Lloyd on the other side, who was already reading the script, and asked, "Does Mr. Vasquez know?"
Director Knapp said, "He knows."
Ebony nodded, "Okay."
A B-list actress named Rebecca Withers would play the role of the newcomer Elsie.
Though the part of Elsie was cut down, it is still possible to find an A-list actress to play it.
However, Tulip's part was increased. Though Director Knapp contacted several actresses who had auditioned before, when they knew that they would be the foil of Ebony, they all declined.
In the end, Director Knapp contacted Rebecca through his friends and induced her to play this role.
However, Rebecca only had two months available and was about to join another crew, so Director Knapp decided to shoot her part first for her convenience.
In the next few days, Ebony had very few scenes, almost none.
But she still went to the crew every day, because Director Knapp told her not to get out of touch with Lloyd, and she still needed to cultivate their relationship.
However, Ebony actually couldn't find any chance to get along with Lloyd alone.
Because Rebecca had been with Lloyd.
Different from Tulip Elliott's part, Elsie May's part needed to be shoot outdoor.
It took a lot of time and energy to set the scene, and rent the venue.
Almost every time a scene was filmed, they had to move to another place.
While waiting for the set, Lloyd and Rebecca usually practiced their lines.
Sometimes, if Ebony wanted to talk with Lloyd, she would be interrupted by Rebecca.
In the end, Ebony could only wait silently beside him.
Most of the time, she was reading the script, hiding from the screenwriter Lydia, and helping staff put out the lunch.
Two weeks later.
The crew finished work early. Rebecca smiled and said to everyone, "I've been here for so long, but I haven't invited you to dinner. Why don't we have dinner together tonight?"
Ebony was helping the props team move things when she heard her words. She looked over there.
Rebecca saw her and waved her hand warmly, "Ebony, let's go together."
Ebony laughed, "Okay."
The place where the dinner was held was a three-star hotel. It could be regarded as a top-grade one in this small county town.
There is a KTV on the third floor of the hotel where they could sing after eating.
During the meal, Ebony, Lloyd, and Rebecca were sitting together.
Rebecca poured wine for everyone herself.
When she poured it into Lloyd's glass, she raised her glass and said to Lloyd, "Mr.Vasquez, I have to toast you alone. Thank you for helping me so much."

Lloyd did not take the glass of wine but drank the tea next to him. He said, "You're welcome."
Rebecca immediately said, "Have a drink."
Then she said to the others, "Don't you think that he has to have a drink? Anyway."
Everyone shouted and backed her up.
Lloyd still held the cup of tea and said casually, "I don't drink."
Rebecca was a little unhappy, "Mr. Vasquez, you are so boring."
Ebony was also not happy.
Ebony stood up, took away the glass of wine in front of Lloyd, raised her head and drank it, and said eloquently, "I'll drink it for him, okay?"
Rebecca was stunned.
There was a brief silence in the box.
Ebony put down the wine glass and sat down, looked at Lloyd, and winked at him.
Lloyd put down the teacup without a word.
After a while, Ebony had eaten and drank enough. Seeing that Lloyd had finished his meal, she leaned over beside him and whispered, "Let's go first?"
Lloyd said in a low voice, "It's impolite."
"It's okay, they still have to sing. While singing, they will drink. But you don't drink." She said. Then she pulled Lloyd's sleeves and persuaded him to go with her.
Lloyd was silent for a while, got up, and went out with her.
Ebony sent a message to Janet and asked her to tell the others.
Then took Lloyd to the outside of the hotel.
As soon as Ebony went out, she showed off to Lloyd, "See. I'm your good friend and help you drink. I still remember your alcohol allergy."
Lloyd looked at her and said nothing.
Ebony bumped him with her shoulder again, "Hey, man. I know you want to thank me, but you don't need to because we are good brothers."
Lloyd took a deep breath.
He put both hands in his pockets expressionlessly, ignored her deliberately, and concentrated on waiting for the taxi.
Ebony saw that Lloyd kept silent, scratched her face, and said a little disappointedly, "Lloyd, why have you ignored me recently? Do I make you unhappy again?"
Lloyd paused and turned his eyes to her. He was silent for a while, and when he was about to speak...
Suddenly he found that Ebony was looking across the street with the wrong expression.
Lloyd also looked over and found that three cars were parked on the opposite street. The one in the middle was not quite right.
Lloyd pursed his lips and said, "Paparazzi."
After speaking, he said to Ebony, "Go up first."
However, Ebony walked straight toward the opposite side.
Lloyd grabbed her wrist and said, "What are you doing?"
Ebony smiled and said, "Don't worry. I won't beat them. Am I that kind of violent person?"
She pushed Lloyd away and crossed the road.
Lloyd was not at ease and followed her.
Ebony stood by the odd car and whistled.
She bent over and knocked on the window.
The window of the car was covered with film so that the people inside the car could see the outside, but the people outside the car couldn't see the inside.
The people inside the car did not respond.
Ebony snapped her fingers and squeezed her fists.
Then she said, "I'll count three. One, two..."
The window finally opened, and the two entertainment reporters hid the camera equipment behind their backs.
They shivered and said, "Ebo, we just took pictures casually, nothing else."
Ebony laughed, like a gang.
With one hand on the roof of the car and the other on her hips, she said, "I won't do anything."
Neither of the two entertainment reporters dared to say a word.
Ebony suddenly opened the rear door and went straight in.
The two entertainment reporters were so frightened that they shouted, "Ahhhh, don't slap my face!"
Ebony grinned and threatened, "Send us back! Hurry up!"
After speaking, she waved enthusiastically to Lloyd outside the car, "Come on, free car. It's free! Come on!"
The entertainment reporter in front, "..."
Lloyd, "..."
