Chapter 131 Everyone at The Scene Was All Excited

Chapter 131 Everyone at The Scene Was All Excited
At the backstage, Lorena let out a sigh of relief.
Feeling exhausted, she was watching the picture on the TV screen.
Although Lorena's teammates did not like her, they could not help feeling lucky, "Thankfully, we're not challenged."
Lorena had lingering fears, "Thanks to Belinda for provoking Ebony, otherwise, Stella's team is definitely reserved for me! She also proposed to check the votes. Ebony must have had it planned in the first place. She just wants to defeat me!"
Lorena's teammates did not answer.
Someone asked curiously, "But I know Winnie and Twanda. Their dancing skills are very poor. How come they dance so well all of a sudden? Not only did the five of them master such a difficult dance in only one week and dance so beautifully, they also did an extra solo stunt. Everyone at the scene was all excited by their performance."
"Yeah, there was no awkward pauses at all, and it seemed that they did not need to rest throughout the whole process. There was excitement after excitement. The most terrifying thing was that they didn't go off-key or off-pitch throughout the live singing. How did they do that?"
At the backstage, more than one team felt that they could escape elimination because Stella's team had challenged Tina's team.
On the stage.
After Stella and the others came down from the stage, Ebony leaned slowly back in her seat.
She looked at Lloyd after she finished her sentence and noticed that Lloyd had an obscure look in his eyes, which were still looking in the direction of the participants leaving the stage.
Ebony was puzzled, "What's wrong?"
Lloyd looked at her, was silent for a moment, and asked, "Stella..."
Ebony suddenly let out a laugh and said, "You didn't expect that, did you?"
Lloyd was stunned. His black eyes stared fixedly at her, "You..."
Ebony said, "You thought she was a boy, didn't you?"
Lloyd was speechless.
Ebony said proudly, "She's a girl. I made her dress up like a boy, but I didn't expect that you were deceived too. Look, one handsome guy and four pretty girls, wasn't the dance a lot more narrative right away and more eye-catching? I choreographed it."
Lloyd frowned and looked at Ebony for a while.
After a long while, he asked, "Do you like her very much?"
Ebony nodded, "A very good child. I rarely see any teenager as good as she is. But she is just too thin-skinned that she doesn't want to go to the hospital for her skin disease. Even though she's young, she hides her illness and refuses treatment."
Lloyd was at a loss for words.
After the performance of Stella's team, there was nothing to look forward to.
The number of votes cast by the audience were getting lower and lower.
The audience who used to be willing to vote if they thought a performance was "average" had now adopted a higher standard and thought that an "average" performance was not worthy of their votes.
As a result, among the teams that performed before Stella's team, even the worst team had at least three hundred and fifty votes from the audience.
But among the teams that performed after Stella's team, even the best team could only get less than three hundred and thirty votes.
After all the performances were over, the ninety-five participants came on stage, and the ranking was clearly displayed on the big screen.
Ebony's team topped the list and was ranked first!
After the second public performance was over, only Ebony's team succeeded in the challenge out of the three recommenders' teams.
The other two recommenders' teams both failed the challenge.
The ten eliminated participants who failed the challenge was eliminated once and for all this time.
At the same time, the teams in the bottom five in the performance would also be eliminated.
In the end, of the ninety-five paticipants, seventy made it to the next round, fifteen were temporarily eliminated into the recommenders' teams, and ten left permanently.
After the participants who were eliminated permanently had finished giving speech, it was the team selection session.

Ebony's team was the champion for the second public performance.
So, all the eliminated participants except Tina stared longingly at her during team selection.
Ebony randomly selected five people, all of whom she had impressions before and whom she thought relatively honest.
Ebony's preference was rather clear. She did not necessarily select the best ones, but she would definitely select the most down-to-earth ones.
She would not take a second look at those who did not work hard and were just trying to curry favor all the time, no matter how good their dancing skills were.
At ten o'clock in the evening, the recording was all over.
After everyone left, Ebony looked at Lloyd next to her and asked, "Are you leaving?"
Lloyd took out his phone and had a look at it.
There were more than fifty missed calls, out of which more than forty were from Grant, the director, eight were from Ivan, his manager, and two were from his assistant.
Lloyd put the phone back in his pocket calmly and said softly, "The flight is on tomorrow morning."
Ebony's eyes brightened up, "Then you don't have to leave today?"
"Yeah," said Lloyd.
Ebony was delighted, "Let's have supper together tonight. Use the room card so that it will be reimbursed by the production team. I'll treat you!"
Lloyd laughed, "Okay."
Ebony added, "I'll go and see those kiddos in the practice room. Wait for me outside, and I'll come to you later."
Lloyd got up and said, "Let's go together."
Ebony was stunned for a moment, and then she nodded and said, "Alright."
Ebony and Lloyd went to the practice room together.
In the practice room, the dance teacher and the singing teacher were assigning lyrics and dance moves to the five eliminated participants.
Everyone stood up when they saw Ebony and Lloyd coming in.
Feeling bashful, Ebony waved and said, "Sit down please, you don't have to..."
Before she could finish her sentence, one of the eliminated participants stammered with a blushed face, "M... Mr. Vasquez... I like you very m... much. Could... could you please sign for me?"
For the next ten minutes, Ebony sat watching Lloyd sign for his fans.
During this time, there were some participants from other teams that came over.
Winnie Jenkins, Bonnie Leigh, Twanda and Tamika were carrying a stack of notebooks each. It was obvious that they were asking for Lloyd's autographs for their friends too!
Ebony was so jealous. Shaking her legs, she snorted coldly, "What's so great?"
Lloyd heard her muttering and glanced over at her.
When Ebony saw Lloyd glanced over at her, she immediately looked away and turned the back of her head to him.
At this moment, Stella came over cautiously.
Stella handed over the notebook in her hand, and said softly to Ebony, "Miss Gibson... can I have your autograph?"
Ebony was stunned for a moment, almost thinking she heard it wrong.
She gaped at Stella.
The next moment, she jumped up and hugged Stella.
Stella was stiff all over.
Ebony burst into tears.
She said emotionally, "Although I know that you asked me for an autograph just to help the poor, but I will sign it!"
Ebony not only signed her name on the notebook, but also wrote a long paragraph, just like an essay. She had written at least five hundred words before she signed her name at the end.
Stella held the book, feeling very satisfied, her cheeks red and her eyes were full of light.
Ebony sniffed and said chokingly, "What a wonderful child. It's a pity that you have a skin disease."
Stella was speechless.
Lloyd walked over.
Stella saw Lloyd coming and she immediately went aside.
Lloyd did not look at Stella. He stood in front of Ebony, smiling and handing out a notebook, and he whispered, "Miss Gibson, could you sign for me?"
Ebony knew Lloyd was teasing her.
She pouted and took the book, signed on it, and said arrogantly, "Keep it well. It will worth a fortune in the future!"
Lloyd burst out laughing.
A participant next to him could not help but say, "Mr. Vasquez, you're so nice to Miss Gibson."
Lloyd took the notebook, closed the cover, and said matter-of-factly, "Well, who should I be nice to if not her?"
