Chapter 100 Lloyd's Face Was So Dark
Lloyd followed the off-road vehicle. When he arrived at the training ground, he saw that everyone was resting.
More than 30 guards sat on the ground in a circle, with two soldiers fighting inside.
"Well! Good fight!"
Lloyd heard Ebony's shouting from a distance.
As he took a closer look, he saw that Ebony was sitting between two strong men and put her arms around their shoulders. The three were cheering for the soldiers who were fighting.
Lloyd's face instantly darkened.
He walked over with cold eyes.
Ebony was happy at the moment. When she saw Lloyd, she immediately waved at him and shouted. "Lloyd! Here!"
Lloyd frowned.
Ebony moved sidewards to clear a space and patted the ground. "Come and sit here. This is the VIP zone!"
Lloyd walked to her silently and stretched out his hand. "Go back."
Ebony smiled and held Lloyd's hand. Then she pulled him down.
Eek! Didn't it succeed?
Ebony inquisitively looked at the tall and stable man before her.
Lloyd and Ebony looked at each other for a moment. Finally, Lloyd sighed and sat down.
Ebony tilted her head and looked at Lloyd.
Lloyd pursed his lips and said, "Leave without any word. Do you know that everyone was worried about you?"
Ebony was stunned. "Ah, I told Major Morgan when I came out." No one could go out of the camp unless one was permitted by the superiors. She had reported it to Major Morgan.
Lloyd did not speak anything.
Ebony grinned and said, "You are very strong."
Lloyd still didn't speak anything.
At the moment, the fight was finished and everyone shouted.
Ebony hurriedly shouted too. "Well! Good fight! Conrad's awesome!"
The surname of the soldier who won the fight was Conrad. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at Ebony. Then a red flush spread over his simple and honest cheeks.
It seemed that he was a bit shy for Ebony's praise.
Lloyd's face was extremely dark.
He asked in a cold voice, "Do you know him?"
Ebony whispered. "No, I just know his surname is Conrad. But I want to integrate with them. Otherwise, they won't allow me to attend the night training with them."
Lloyd was speechless.
Then Lloyd accompanied Ebony until the guards finished the morning exercise before leaving.
Ebony was sitting in the car. She leaned on the car window reluctantly and looked at the soldiers running outside. She muttered. "I want to run too."
Lloyd said coldly, "No way."
Ebony looked back at him.
Lloyd frowned. "Seat belt."
Ebony sat down obediently and fastened the seat belt. Then she looked at Lloyd.
She didn't know why Lloyd was angry.
The car quickly arrived at the camp.
As soon as Ebony entered it, she was surrounded by others who asked her a lot of questions.
Ebony looked back and saw that Lloyd also got off the car. But instead of coming over, he walked in the other direction.
Ebony was found, so everyone felt at ease.
In the afternoon, the program team came again to ask them who went out of the jungle first if they wanted to go back to Clarida or stay here.
Ebony wanted to stay here. As she was about to say that, Lloyd said first, "Go back."
Ebony said, "I won't go back..."
"You must go back." Lloyd interrupted her and said directly.
Ebony frowned. "Why should I go back? I don't want to go back!"
Lloyd looked at her and suddenly asked, "Where is your phone?"
Ebony was shocked. Her phone was still in the suitcase.
The luggage was confiscated before and the program team returned the luggage to them when they went out of the jungle yesterday.
Ebony hadn't checked her phone. It was automatically off because it ran out of power. She was too lazy to charge it. And she had no friends or relatives. No one would call her.
Lloyd said, "Check your phone."
Ebony was dubious. But she returned to the tent to check her phone.
Ten minutes later, Ebony came out and looked downcast.
Jeremy happened to pass by her tent and saw her.
He asked Ebony in confusion, "What's wrong with you? Are you unhappy?"
Ebony said dully, "Yeah, I'm so unhappy."
Jeremy hurriedly asked, "What happened?"
Ebony said melancholy, "My agent called me and said that there are six variety shows, eight TV series, and three movies inviting me. She asked me to go back now and choose them. Ah."
Jeremy was speechless.
If Jeremy was not well educated, he would immediately spit on Ebony.
Pooh!
He turned around, not even wanting to talk to Ebony, and simply walked away.
Ebony raised her head and looked around the camp. But she didn't see Lloyd.
She wanted to know how Lloyd knew that Dolores had called her.
In the end, Ebony, Lloyd, and Jeremy took the same flight back to Clarida.
When the plane landed and they got out of the cabin, both Lloyd and Jeremy walked the VIP passage, while Ebony walked the ordinary passage.
Jeremy shouted, "Hey, this way."
Ebony said carelessly, "It doesn't matter. No one knows me."
To her surprise, as she just arrived at the exit, she saw a lot of people outside who were holding a sign with her name.
Seeing her, those people suddenly cheered.
"She comes out!"
"Ebony!"
"Ebs! Ebs!"
"Ah ah ah ah, Ebo, Ebo!"
Ebony stood there and was stunned.
Lloyd came over at this time.
Because of his appearance, the fans who picked Ebony up at the airport instantly went crazy.
"Ah ah ah ah! Lloyd! Lloyd! Bro!"
Lloyd frowned as he took Ebony, who was already dumbfounded, and led her to the VIP passage on the other side.
The shouting from behind was fading away.
Ebony heard those vague voices and did not come to her senses.
"Ebony." Lloyd said in a steady voice.
Ebony came to her senses and looked at Lloyd in a daze.
Seeing that she was not well, Lloyd held her hand tighter and asked, "What's wrong?"
Ebony turned around to look at the long and narrow corridor behind her. After a while, she asked with difficulty, "Are... they my fans?"
Lloyd said, "Yes."
Ebony tightened her lips and didn't say anything.
She lowered her head and looked at her hands.
The back of her right hand was intact and had no signs of having undergone any surgery.
In a previous life, when she got off the plane, many people came to pick her up at the airport.
But they were not her fans.
They brought a bottle of sulfuric acid and poured it on her.
She blocked it with a duffel bag.
But the back of her hand was burned because it was too close.
Later, it was restored through skin grafting.
Ebony fell into a trance for a moment. Then she jumped up suddenly and hugged Lloyd's shoulders happily. She said gladly, "I have real fans! I'm awesome!"
The expression in Lloyd's eyes was hard to understand. He looked at the girl's smiling face but he frowned deeply.
Why did her eyes flash with sadness?
She was sad.
"Yeah." Lloyd suddenly grabbed Ebony's hand. He continued to walk with her and said at the same time, "You are so amazing! You have fans! They love you very much and more people in the future will love you."
