Chapter 105 Corpses Definitely Will Not Stink If They Are Put in That Room
When Ebony received a call from the crew of Pledge.
It was a week after the audition.
She was pestering Dolores to treat her to coffee.
The crew called Ebony's agent directly.
After answering the phone, Dolores looked at Ebony as if she was looking at a cash cow.
After hanging up the phone, Dolores slapped the table!
She shouted to the people who were outside the office, "Go buy twenty cups of bubble tea. I'm going to invite everyone in the office to drink!"
Dolores acted as if she had made a sudden fortune.
Ebony quickly extended two fingers and shouted anxiously, "I want two cups! I want two cups!"
Dolores was in a good mood at the moment, and said tolerantly, "OK! I'll buy you two cups!"
Hearing that, Ebony instantly held out another finger, saying excitedly, "Three cups! Three cups!"
Dolores glared at her fiercely!
Ebony put down one finger awkwardly and whispered, "Two is okay."
The movie would be filmed in half a month.
After the contract was signed, the whole script was sent to Ebony.
She recited the lines for half a month at home, and then rushed to the filming location one day before the filming.
Pledge was filmed in a small county of Sheattle.
The other actors had already been there when Ebony arrived.
The actors were arranged by the crew to stay in a small hotel in the county.
The hotel was a bit shabby but fairly clean.
When Janet was unpacking Ebony's luggage, she suddenly said, "Ebony, I saw Dione Glynn just now."
The heroine, Elsie, was played by Dione, who had won the Golden Sunflower Award for Best Actress.
Dione was older than Lloyd. She was 30 and Lloyd was 25.
Ebony was the youngest, only 19 years old.
"What's wrong?" Ebony asked casually.
Janet whispered, "She was throwing a tantrum at the assistant, saying that the room was not good and she wanted to change it."
Ebony asked in puzzlement, "Hasn't she lived in that room for several days?"
"Yeah, she's been here for a few days. But she suddenly said today there were some problems with her room. She insisted on living in the room next to Lloyd's."
Ebony raised her eyebrows, asking, "Whose room is next to Lloyd's now?"
Janet said, "It's ours!"
Ebony was startled.
Janet added, "She hasn't asked to change rooms before. But after we moved in, she said she wanted to change rooms. Ebony, I think something's wrong."
Ebony frowned.
At this time, a few people came in suddenly.
Janet immediately stood behind Ebony and whispered, "That's Dione's assistant."
Ebony looked at the people in front of her.
Dione's assistant was walking in the front and looked a little arrogant and unkind.
The assistant looked around the room, nodded in satisfaction, and said to a worker, "This room is okay. Dione only sleeps in south-facing rooms. After staying in the previous room for two days, she feels uncomfortable. I think this room is barely suitable."
The worker was embarrassed, and bent over to discuss with Ebony, "Ebony, could you exchange rooms with Dione? Dione is allergic to the room facing north."
Allergic?
Ebony walked to a single-seat couch to sit down with her legs crossed, and then spread her hands, saying, "Show me her checkup report."
Dione's assistant didn't seem to expect Ebony to say such a sentence.
After being stunned for a moment, she said, "I know you don't want to move. After all, Lloyd lives next door. But you are in the same crew with Dione. You're supposed to help her. It is indeed a special case for Dione to be allergic. We have no other way. As for the checkup report, I'm sorry, I didn't bring it with me. Anyway, I can only trouble you. Miss Gibson, please move out immediately. Dione will move in soon."
Ebony pressed the tip of her tongue against her cheek. Looking at the assistant's arrogant look, she smiled and said, "Sorry, I don't want to move because I'm allergic too."
The assistant asked in disbelief, "What are you allergic to?"
Ebony said, "I'm allergic to idiots."
"You..." The assistant glared at Ebony angrily.
Then she said to the worker, "If there is something wrong with Dione's health, the filming will be affected. That will cause losses for the crew!"
Ebony snorted and applauded as soon as the assistant finished speaking, "Look at her! She threatens the crew before the filming begins. Dione feels uncomfortable because she lives in the room arranged by the crew. What does that mean? Does it mean she has complaints to the room or to Director Knapp? Well, did Director Knapp know the actress who plays the heroine in his movie hates him so much?"
"When did I say Dione hated Director Knapp?"
The assistant shouted, "Stop messing around here!"
Ebony crossed her arms and glanced at the assistant coldly, "Who the hell is messing around here? Isn't it you?"
The assistant shouted in great anger, "You're so mean and rude! You offend Dione! She'll not let you go!" After that, she was about to go off in a huff.
"Stop!" Ebony suddenly stopped her.
Ebony turned gloomy.
She raised her brows and said slowly, "Actually, the north-facing room is pretty good. It's cool and fresh. Corpses definitely will not stink if they are put in that room. It's perfect for you and Dione."
The assistant had already walked to the door. She stumbled and almost fell when hearing Ebony's words.
Ebony said to Janet, "Janet, the idiot is gone. Hurry to close the door. My eyes need protection."
Janet couldn't be happier.
She hurried over and slammed the door.
The assistant went back and cried to Dione.
Hearing her complaints, Dione scolded rudely, "What a good-for-nothing you are! Get out!"
After the assistant went out, Dione took out her mobile phone and dialed Belinda.
She said, "Belinda, you are right. It is indeed difficult to deal with that bitch. But take it easy. Since I promised to help you vent your anger, I will definitely not go back on my word. When filming, I won't let her go!"
After listening to the worker's report, Elvin took a puff of the cigarette and looked at Lloyd beside him, saying, "Dione is always being petulant, but your neighbor really has a bad temper."
Lloyd was reading the script.
He underlined two lines on the script with a pen, turned to the next page, and said without raising his head, "Well, she's fierce."
Elvin said, "I just found out that you're quite familiar with each other. You have participated in two variety shows together. I will watch these variety shows when I'm free."
Lloyd made no reply.
Elvin became worried, saying, "There are many intimate scenes between you and Ebony in this movie. I specially arranged adjacent rooms for you to facilitate your communication. But can you put up with her bad temper? Can you ensure that the shooting goes smoothly?"
Lloyd stopped reading the script, raised his head, and looked at Elvin, "These scenes will definitely make everyone present embarrassed. It's pretty normal not to go well. You're supposed to have a mental preparation."
Elvin asked in confusion, "What do you mean? You did it well before."
Lloyd replied calmly, "These scenes in this movie are much more erotic and I thought you said the cheat shooting method will be banned when filming this movie."
Elvin was speechless.
It was indeed he who told Lloyd that cheat would not be used.
If there was no cheat shooting method used in the filming of Ancient Alley, Belinda would not have lost the award.
This had always been a pity for Elvin.
Elvin originally thought that Lloyd would not agree to his proposal.
He didn't expect him to agree.
"Then you should be professional."
Elvin said after a short hesitation, "Try to rehearse lines with her as much as possible. And you two need to discuss how to perform sex scenes and kissing scenes in advance."
At this moment, Lloyd closed the script and stood up suddenly.
Elvin asked with a cigarette in his mouth, "Where are you going?"
Lloyd said, "I'm going to rehearse lines with her."
