Chapter 153 Won't Be Able To Ring In The New Year With Them
That day, Ebony didn't find out what the name of Lloyd's fiancee was.
"The Shining Light" had gained huge popularity since it was aired.
The filming had drawn to a close after three episodes had been aired.
On a Sunday in February, the filming of "The Shining Light" had been done.
After shooting, Stella ran over to Ebony while Ebony was removing her make-up.
"Miss Gibson." Stella looked at Ebony and muffled, "It'll be the New Year the day after tomorrow."
Ebony replied while wiping her mascara out with a make-up cotton, "Yeah, it has been months before we know it. Luckily we finished everything by the New Year so that you are able to visit your families."
Stella pouted and said, "I am flying back to Maritria with my father tonight."
Ebony remembered her parents lived abroad. She said, "That's good."
Stella resentfully stared at Ebony, hands grabbing the corner of Ebony's clothes. She asked, "What about you? Will you reunite with your family as well?"
Ebony paused for a second and said, "Yes."
Stella was a bit jealous.
Ebony continued, "But I won't be able to ring in the New Year with them. The cemetery closes at 6 o'clock, so I can't stay there at night."
Stella was stunned, looking at her in amazement.
Ebony continued removing her make-up and said, "My family are all in the cemetery. My father, my grandfather and grandmother are all there. I can only visit them during the day, and won't be able to spend the New Year's Eve."
Stella opened her mouth in shock.
After a while, she said, "Aunt..."
"Miss Gibson!" A staff member suddenly shouted, "We are having a dinner party tonight. Are you coming with us?"
Ebony immediately answered, "Yeah, of course!"

After the staff member left, Ebony turned her head looking at Stella. She asked, "What did you just say?"
Stella looked at her in the eyes, shaking her head with a wry smile.
Ebony didn't take it seriously.
At night, they had dinner together. Janet started to pack up their belongings after they went back to the hotel. They were going to leave tomorrow.
At the moment, Janet's phone suddenly rang.
She saw the caller ID and then threw the phone to Ebony, who was sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper. Janet said, "Ebony, it's Dolores' call."
Ebony put aside the free newspaper taken from the downstairs of the hotel, picking up the phone, and said, "Hello."
Ebony heard Dolores' shout from the phone, "Did I not give you money to buy a new phone? Why can't  I get through to your number?"
Days ago, her phone accomplished its mission and was finally broken.
Upon knowing it, Dolores checked Ebony's bank account and found out there was only 20 dollars left.
Therefore, she sent Janet 2000 dollars and asked Janet to take Ebony to buy a new phone.

It had been two days. As a result, she took the money, yet didn't buy a phone.
Ebony flipped through the newspaper with one hand as cool as a cucumber, and said casually, "Things in Shae city are expensive, I will buy one when I return back to Firenze."
Dolores roared, "There is no price difference. For mobile phones of the same brand, they all sell them at the same price!"
Ebony said, "I am not going to a specialty store to buy it. I plan to buy a second-hand phone, but I am not certain about the quality of them on the Internet, and I am not familiar with the local second-hand market here. That's why I want to wait until I go back. If I get lucky, I will probablybe able to buy a relatively new one."
Dolores was beside herself with anger. She said, "Who allowed you to use a second-hand phone? You'll be mocked big time by others. Go buy a new one!"
Ebony saw Dolores became angrier and angrier, so she quickly changed the subject by saying, "Dolores, did you call me just to say this?"
Dolores now remembered why she called her. She sighed and said, "Your next job is set. It's a variety show on CCTV."
