Chapter 69 I Want To Knock Her Out

Lorena thought Lloyd was easy to handle. He was a well-known actor, so he must be a gentleman. She did something wrong just now, but as long as she could pretend to be weak and pitiful, plus her good looks, Lloyd would definitely treat her well, and would protect her willingly in the days to come.
After all, every powerful man enjoyed the feeling of being depended on by women.
Lorena was full of confidence, but instantly after, she saw he turn his head, his sharp-edged gaze suddenly sweeping across her face.
At that moment, Lorena had the illusion of being stared at by the god of death.
The man opened his mouth, and the sound coming out of it was as cold as ice.
He said, "Get out of here."
Lorena was stunned, unable to speak.
Lloyd asked her to get out of here?
She blurted out incredulously, "How can you say such ungracious words to a girl you have just met? You are a movie king!"

The impatient look in Lloyd's eyes couldn't be more obvious.

Right after Ebony's words came out, Lloyd and Lorena both looked at her at the same time.
Lorena was overjoyed and thought to herself, "Sure enough, Ebony was still on my side, and of course, if I am injured in the rainforest, my parents will not let her off the hook!"
When Lorena was complacent at Ebony's words, Ebony added, "You shouldn't have talked to her in the first place. Now you are sitting on my site. Who allowed you to talk with this dumb ass?"

"Good." Ebony said coldly. Then she stood up, looking at Lorena, and said, "You! Get out of my place. Got out of here as far as you can. Now!"
Lorena's expression changed, and she was too amazed to think about what Ebony scolded her. She hurriedly said, "Your place? You mean the whole forest belongs to you?"
Ebony laughed and said, "How dare you talk back to me?"
Lorena gritted her teeth. She definitely couldn't leave. If she left, who knew if she would encounter a wolf again. She said firmly, "I won't leave anyway!"
Ebony replied, "All right, you can stay if you insist."
As Lorena was about to smile, she saw Ebony bent over suddenly, picking up a piece of burning wood, walking towards her.
"What... what are you doing?"
Ebony smiled. She grabbed Lorena's collar with one hand, and then lit Lorena's clothes with that burning wood on the other hand.
In an instant, Lorena's clothes caught fire.
"Ahhhh!" She screamed in shock.
Ebony let go of her.
Lorena frantically raised her hand slapping her clothes, only to found that the fire could not be extinguished. She ran around in a hurry, and then fell to the ground, rolling around, and finally extinguished the fire.
Now, Lorena was covered in mud with her clothes half burned. She looked at Ebony in disbelief, and shouted, "You are crazy!"
Ebony stood in the distance hands in pockets. She said slowly, "I didn't say whether it was your body or ashes that could stay. I just troubled myself to cremate you. Are you satisfied with my service?"
"You..." Lorena was so angry that she almost vomited blood.
Ebony fixed her with a stern look saying, "Get out of here! Now!"
Lorena burst into tears, crying and scolding, "I... I won't let this slide! I won't... ah..."
Ebony pretend to hit her again.
Lorena was so frightened that she quickly got up and ran. Soon, she disappeared in the woods.
Ebony sneered, and then turned her head looking at Lloyd beside her.
Lloyd looked at her calmly, and asked in a low voice, "Do I also have to leave your place?"
Ebony scratched her head and said, "You? You are different! How do you survive if you leave me?" Then she continued, "Have you had dinner?"
Lloyd chuckled and shook his head. He said, "No."
She asked, "What are you laughing at?"
Then Ebony turned around, and went back to the tower room. She bent down searching inside for a long time, and finally took out a few fruits. She handed them to him saying, "Eat them. Although they don't taste good, they can stuff yourself."
Lloyd stared at the fruits and was stunned for a second.
Ebony noticed his expression and said unhappily, "You think they are dirty? You are such a picky eater! You can nibble off the skin and eat the pulp.
Lloyd didn't say anything. He just pursed his lips and took the fruits.
He wiped one fruit casually, and just as he was about to bite, Ebony suddenly took it.
Ebony squatted down, found a stick and put it through. She said, "Eat it after roasting. The skin can be torn apart after roasting, and you don't need to chew."
Lloyd lowered his head looking at the girl's impatient but earnest expression. He smiled.
In the rainforest, endless cries of insects and beasts were so loud at night .
Soon, the fruit was done.
Ebony handed the fruit to Lloyd.
Lloyd stretched out his hand to take it, but it was too hot to hold.
Seeing his clumsy movements, Ebony took it back and tore the skin for him.
Then she handed the fruit to his mouth, saying softly, "Take a bite."
Lloyd paused for a second, and then he opened his mouth, taking a bite of the fruit on the girl's hand.
The slightly bitter taste spread on the tip of his tongue.
He swallowed it silently.
Just as he was about to take the second bite, Ebony suddenly pulled her hand back.
Lloyd looked at her in confusion.
Ebony threw the remaining fruits into the fire.
Then she turned around, took out her backpack in the tower room, and took out a pack of compressed biscuits and a bottle of water. She handed them to Lloyd.
Lloyd looked at the biscuits and bottled water that had not been unpacked. He was surprised.
