Chapter 70 Indirect Kiss

Chapter 70 Indirect Kiss?
Lloyd took the biscuits and water and ate them without words.
He didn't eat a lot but only three biscuits and drank a small glass of water.
Ebony was a little relieved when she found that there was not much food loss. She put the rest of the food back in her backpack and asked him, "Do you have a sleeping bag?"
Lloyd said, "No."
Ebony was speechless that Lloyd had nothing, but she still threw the sleeping bag which should have belonged to Kelly to him from the backpack. "You can use it there," Ebony said.
"There" referred to the small tower.
Lloyd took the sleeping bag and looked at her.
"Please follow my words!" Seeing that he didn't move, Ebony frowned and said, "It's terrible if you get sick again. You know you are weak. In the first issue of the show, I don't know if you have forgotten how long you have been sick. Twelve hours! It's me who took care of you!"
Thinking of the situation at the time, Lloyd tried to explain, "It was an accident..."
However, he gave up explaining and laughed. In the end, he just took the sleeping bag and entered the small tower.
Ebony took out her sleeping bag, then got into it. She sat close to the campfire, and asked, "What's your plan for tomorrow?"
Lloyd was silent for a while, and said, "Since we all don't have teammates, why don't we act together?"
Ebony looked up at the night sky and laughed at him, "Do you want me to protect you?"
Lloyd couldn't help but smile again, and said dotingly, "You are right."
Ebony turned back and suddenly looked at him, "Then you have to beg me to protect you."
Lloyd was stunned for a moment, but he still said politely, "Please."
Ebony said, "Okay. Since you are begging me, I will do it for you."
After speaking, she retracted into her sleeping bag, lay down, and shouted, "Good night."
Lloyd sat in the small town and looked at the little girl who seemed to be especially lonely in the light of the fire. The smile in his eyes never faded.
The next day, the morning dawned.
Ebony was awakened by the sound of footsteps.
She opened her eyes, sat up, and saw the front, finding that Lloyd holding a bunch of fruit packed with leaves, was walking over there.
Ebony frowned. She didn't have a watch and she didn't know the time.
Lloyd walked to her side, sat down, and took off the fruit in his hand, and the water bag buckled on his waist. After putting them on the ground, he looked at her and said, "Get up."
The show had prepared two empty water bags besides two bottles of drinking water in the backpack for each team.
Ebony looked at the water bags and asked, "Did you rummage in my bag?"
Lloyd said lightly, "Nothing else was moved except for a water bag."
Ebony frowned and checked the bag. She found that there was indeed a water bag missing and said dissatisfiedly, "Don't touch my supplies." Then, she picked up the water bag, but found that the water bag was heavy, "Is there water in it?"
"Yes," the man answered.
Ebony unscrewed the lid suspiciously and smelled it. The water in the water bag had a grassy smell. She asked, "What is this?"
"Water tree's juice," he answered.
Ebony raised an eyebrow surprisedly. She didn't expect that Lloyd, a pampered dude, had a wide range of knowledge, and even knew this kind of tree.
The water tree, in fact, is a tree that can store water. Once its trunk is pierced, water will flow out from it. Spray trees and bottle trees in Dinoa and birches in Ostesh can all store water.
There are also water-storage trees in the Amazon jungle.
Ebony didn't drink it hastily, but got up and asked, "Where did you find it?"
Lloyd understood her worry and pointed the tree's direction.

Ebony ran over and really saw a water tree in the distance. Seeing that the tree was indeed non-toxic, she felt safe to drink it with one large gulp. After drinking it, she felt she was not thirsty anymore as if she was rejuvenated!
By the way, she washed her face and brushed her teeth there. When she came back, Ebony saw Lloyd eating fruit.
The fruit he was eating was not the blackberry that they picked up yesterday. She didn't know where he found it.
Seeing Ebony, Lloyd patted the seat next to him and asked her to sit there.
Ebony went over and sat down.
Lloyd handed her a fresh fruit that he had washed.
Ebony glanced at it and find that it was a mutated fruit that was non-toxic and looked a bit like a pear.
She took a bite, sweet, and much better than the berries.
Something sweet can replenish the sugar in the body.
Athletes always take in a lot of sugar before exercising because the sugar will form water and carbon dioxide when it is decomposed in the body. It is an excellent energy substance for human beings during exercise.
They were surviving in the wild now. If they could take in things containing sugar, it was undoubtedly a good way to replenish their energy.
Ebony ate three fruits in a row. When she felt full, barely, she looked at Lloyd and said, "You are quite good at finding things. Water trees can be found by you, and mutated fruits can also be found by you."
Lloyd did not say anything. After eating two more fruits, he felt thirsty. Naturally, he picked up the water bag next to Ebony, unscrewed it, and took a sip.
Ebony was stunned for a moment watching him drink water.
Because she had used that water bag before...
Although he didn't know she drank it, she actually did.
Ebony scratched her head, silently took out another empty water bag from the backpack, and planned to fill it later.
She just left the first water bag to Lloyd.
After resting there for a while, Ebony picked up a branch and inserted it into the ground. According to the direction of the shadow of the branch, she inferred the time. "It's past nine o'clock," she said, "let's go."
Lloyd followed her, got up, and put the fire out to ensure that there would be no safety hazards. Then they set off.
The two walked towards the northwest.
Ebony was carrying the backpack, leading the way, while Lloyd followed behind her.
After walking for a while, she remembered what happened to Kelly yesterday.
Kelly was not physically strong enough so she had to take a break after walking for an hour or two.
"If Kelly had to rest after walking for more than an hour, then, as pampered as Lloyd was, he might rest every half an hour?" Ebony thought.
So Ebony counted the time. Every half an hour, she turned around and asked Lloyd, "Do you want to take a break?"
Lloyd was indeed tall and strong. With both hands in his trouser pockets, he seemed very relaxed, without a drop of sweat on his forehead. He looked at her inexplicably and asked, "Huh?"
"Aren't you tired?" Ebony was stunned.
Lloyd glanced at her, and said thoughtfully, "If you are tired, we can take a rest."
"I'm not tired," Ebony frowned and had a glance at Lloyd again. "Go on."
Lloyd had no opinion.
After walking for three hours incessantly, they found a small river.
"Wow!" Ebony walked to the river, squatted down, washed her face with water, and suddenly felt refreshed.
Lloyd stood beside her, but his eyes focused on the edge of the nearby river bank and the clear river bottom.
Generally, there would be crocodiles nearby.
Fortunately, there were no crocodiles near this creek.
Ebony suddenly raised her head and asked, "Would you like to eat fish?"
Lloyd lowered his head. From his perspective, he could clearly see that the girl's chest was wet, revealing her exquisite arc.
He frowned, glanced coldly at the drone in the sky, then took off his jacket, threw it on the girl to cover her chest, and said in a deep voice, "I'll catch it."
