Chapter 80 To Flirt with Her Husband by Her Drunkenness
Leila and Teresa had depended on each other for so many years. Leila knew her sister well. She understood that Teresa would still want to seek justice for her. So, Leila deliberately let Teresa stay and took out a bottle of wine to drink with her. Until the night was dark, she finally let Teresa and Hubert go home.
Teresa couldn't hold her liquor. Leila treated her to a bottle of spirits. Teresa felt a bit tipsy after one shot. When she left Leila's house, she felt light-headed. And she felt her feet were weak while she was walking.
Leila walked Teresa and Hubert out the door.
When she was at work, she used to follow her boss to social dinners. Gradually, she had raised the capacity of holding her liquor. A few shots of spirits were not enough to get her drunk.
"Hubert, Teresa is drunk. Take care of her."
Leila said to her brother-in-law worriedly.
She meant to get Teresa drunk, so that Teresa could not go to Patrick for a fight.
Leila was afraid that if Teresa went to the Cerone family, Teresa would be bullied by the Cerones.
The Cerones were as shameless as their relatives from the Heller family.
"Leila, I'll take care of Teresa."
Hubert easily helped Teresa walk down the stairs. Teresa almost fell several times, so Hubert had to pick her up horizontally at last.
"You're such a light drinker. And you dared to drink? Leila brought out a bottle of spirits with a purpose. But you didn't see through her trick and took the drink like a fool."
Teresa wrapped her arms around Hubert's neck and burped. The overpowering smell of alcohol rushed into his nose. Hubert disgustedly turned his face to the other side, saying, "Don't blow the smell on me! Your breath reeks of alcohol. It stinks."
"I want!"
Teresa deliberately leaned to his face, "I'm just going to let you get stinky. You've read Leila's mind. But you didn't stop me."
Hubert wasn't used to her pressing up against him like that and almost threw her to the ground.
"Teresa!"
He yelled in a deep voice, with an awkward expression, "I know you're still sober. Don't take advantage of me!"
Teresa chuckled. She rested her head on his shoulder, "Patrick beat up Leila. I am going to go after him. Even if I don't go tonight, I will go to him tomorrow. I'll go to his company and find him!"
"You think I stink? You were drunk last time, and I didn't even think you stink."
Hubert whispered, "I didn't ask you to take care of me when I was drunk. But now you need me to carry you."
Teresa cooed, "I'm not asking you to carry me."
Hubert, "..."
'The good thing I have done is throw back in my face.' Hubert thought.
When they got downstairs, Hubert tucked his drunken wife into the car. Given her tendency to take advantage of him when she was drunk, he shoved Teresa into the back seat of the car so she wouldn't take advantage of him and interfere with his driving.
Teresa did not care. Once she got into the car, she slumped into the seat and fell asleep.
Hubert turned his head to check on her. and saw that she had fallen asleep at ease. His eyes deepened. But he did not say anything.
He drove home in silence, with his wife in the backseat.
Halfway home, the woman in the back seat of the car suddenly sat up and cursed, "Only when the pigs are flying in the sky, can men be relied on."
After cursing, she fell back down and went back to sleep.
Hubert turned his head to look at her again.
Hubert's voice was heard in the car after a long silence, "Don't lose hope in men just because of one man. Some men are truly unreliable. But you can't deny that there are still very reliable men."
If he fell in love with her, he would definitely be a reliable man.
He would be a dutiful husband in these six months, even if he didn't love her.
Teresa, in the back of the car, did not respond to his words.
Hubert did not expect her to respond either.
A short time later, they got back to Florence Garden.
After Hubert parked the car, he got off the car and pulled open the door of the back seat. He leaned into the car and called out to Teresa, "Teresa, we're home. Wake up and get off the car."
Teresa was awakened by him and sat up. After rubbing her eyes childishly, she looked at him, unblinkingly.
Suddenly, she reached out her hands towards him, with twinkling light in her beautiful eyes, and said in a sweet voice, "Hey, handsome boy, carry me out of the car."
Hubert was so speechless. He knocked on her and said in a cold voice, "I warned you. Don't take advantage of me by being drunk. You are drunk. But you are not unconscious. You know exactly what you are saying and what you are doing."
Teresa knew what she was doing.
But under the influence of alcohol, she was impulsive.
The more Hubert warned her not to take advantage of him, the more she wanted to do that.
Why did he, a big man, be afraid of her, a woman, taking advantage of him?
Didn't he worry that people would laugh at him?
"Hubert..."
Teresa smiled cheekily and asked him, "Are you like that Young Master of the Donovan family? Everyone has a guess on him."
He was even more innocent than she was when it came to sex.
Teresa just couldn't resist flirting with him by using her drunkenness as an excuse.
"Then what's your guess?"
"I think he is impotent, or he is gay."
Hubert's expression was so awkward.
"Grandma always wants to set us up. You know, before I met you, I was trying to picture a thirty-year-old man who still had no girlfriend. I couldn't imagine any image other than an ugly pig. But when I met you, I found I was wrong. You are not an ugly pig. You are even more handsome than Leonardo DiCaprio."
"So, it makes me wonder that you might have some problem..." Teresa smiled cheekily. And she didn't let her hands idle, touching his face as she pleased, "Hubert, are you going to hit me? Let me tell you, I have practiced freestyle grappling. If you dare to hit me, I will definitely beat you to the ground."
"Oh, such a handsome face. I really want to kiss you. What do you think? Let me kiss you, come on, come on, let me kiss you..."
Teresa flirted with him recklessly, which made Hubert angry.
He abruptly pushed her back into the backseat and pressed on her with his strong body. Then he pulled her reckless fair hands down and pressed her hands on either side of her head. At last, he lowered his head and kissed her chattering mouth.
'Fine, as you wish!' Hubert thought to himself.
Perhaps because Teresa was drunk, this time, she wasn't as shocked as last time. Instead, she responded with enthusiasm.
Hubert had intended to stop after he kissed her on the lips. But her response triggered his talent. So, he continued and gave her a long, lingering kiss.
After the kiss, Hubert got off the car. At the same time, he took Teresa's feet and dragged her to the car door. He picked her up and slammed the door shut. Then, he held her on his shoulder and carried her away.
Teresa was dizzy from his kiss. Then she was picked up by him again. Before she could react, he held her on his shoulder, which made her stomach and belly uncomfortable. So, she struggled.
"Hubert, Hubert, put me down!"
'He's too rough!'
'He doesn't know how to treat a lady!'
Hubert turned a deaf ear.
"Hubert, I promise I won't flirt with you anymore. I'll follow your agreement. Put me down. I'm not feeling well. Don't let me throw up on you. If you don't let me down, don't blame me for doing that!"
Hubert warned her, "Don't you dare throw up on me!"
"Then put me down. I'm not feeling well."
"Are you still drunk?"
"Yeah. Oh no, I'm sobered a little, wait, half. Well, I'm almost sober."
Hearing her words, Hubert raised a light smile. But he quickly withdrew it. He put her down and let her walk on her own.
He left her behind and went ahead.
Teresa was speechless and thought to herself, 'Is he angry?'
