Chapter 14
It was silent at night, and the moonlight shone on the lake with a gentle halo. Moonshadow Mansion was located in the center of Moonshadow Lake, surrounded by lush green plants. They rustled while wind kissed the lake with light ripples.
Diana Swift had a nightmare.
She was entangled by it, and she couldn't get rid of it at all. Even she knew that she was dreaming, but her eyelids seemed to be stitched up, being unable to open.
At six o'clock in the morning, the sky was dim.
Diana Swift finally woke up from her dream.
Her pink silk nightgown was soaked in cold sweat, its back was darkened by a shade, and there was a little sweat on her neck and jaw.
She opened her eyes and stared blankly at the ceiling. After a few seconds, she moved her fingers and touched her heart.

When she regained her consciousness, Diana grabbed half of the pillow and folded it up to cover her face.
Why did she read a novel about digging kidney and heart last night! In her nightmare, she even made up a bizarre plot of Josh Hunter scooping her heart out to treat her ex-girlfriend's illness.
Thinking about it at this time, she just found the dream was illogical. If her heart was scooped, it meant she was dead. She would definitely resist the following kidney removal if she was alive. And if Josh Hunter dared to scoop her organs to treat that bitch, she would dig up the Hunter family's ancestral graves.
