Chapter 77 Profess Feelings
Although she slept a little later than usual, her biological clock was fixed. Jane came to Forward Education early on Monday and put the breakfast for Aaron on his table. As soon as she sat down, someone came from behind and put a cup of coffee on her table. She looked up to see it was Mary.
Mary smiled and said, "How was the conversation with Eloise's parents that day?"
Jane said with a straight face, "We had a good talk."
Mary said, "After crossing the South Harbor Bridge that day, I found that there was still a traffic jam below. Then I had something to do. In the end, I managed to toss back to the city. I'm sorry, I didn't accompany you to see her parents."
Jane smiled lightly, "It's okay."
Mary didn't see the slightest bit of displeasure in Jane. Then she changed the subject and talked about Eloise.
"The problem of son preference in her family is serious. I've seen her mother scold her a few times because of her younger brother. In fact, it's none of her business...And her mother was not polite to our tutor. Every time we met, she never said hello. Although she occasionally asked about her daughter's study, she was not concerned about her daughter's study at all, but worried about wasting money..."
She tried to win Jane's attention and resonance by gossip. But Jane just said as usual, "No one's money is given for free. Even the rich's money should be used where it's worth."
Mary, who couldn't get Jane's attention, smiled and said again, "That's right. I've been teaching Eloise for half a year, so I know what kind of person her mother is. I'm afraid she'll look at you, so I want to warn you first."
Jane said, "Thank you. That's very nice of you."
Meeting Jane's gaze, Mary looked at her clear, smiling eyes. For some reason, she always felt uneasy and even felt a chill in her back.
Smiling subconsciously, Mary said politely, "Then I won't bother you. Let's talk next time."
After she stepped away, Jane retracted the smile on her face and lowered her head to organize the courseware. As for the cup of coffee, she didn't touch it at all.
The Smith family's car was waiting downstairs on time. Jane took the car to the Smith family. When she walked into Justin's room, he was still sleeping with his head covered.
Opening the curtains, Jane said, "Get up quickly! Let's look at it."
she said deliberately cheerfully. Justin under the quilt groaned in confusion. She added, "Look."
Justin slowly lifted the quilt. He squinted at her in confusion. At this time, Jane pointed out the window and said, "What a big sun!"
Justin was almost dying of anger. He fell back on the bed again.
Jane got her wish. Then she said, "Get up. You've slept enough."
With his eyes closed and his brows furrowed, Justin said, "I've only slept for over six hours."
Jane said, "You stayed up in the middle of the night and watched movies again?"
Justin mumbled: "I help Uncle Edward..."
"what?"
"Uncle Edward and the game..."
Standing beside the bed, Jane opened the lid with one hand. As she took it lower and lower, Justin could smell the stronger and stronger aroma. Finally, he even felt the temperature of the source of that fragrance. Finally, he even felt the temperature of the source of that aroma. He had no choice but to open his eyes. Sure enough, he saw that a box of pan-fried pork buns was almost touching the tip of his nose.
Jane smiled and said, "Get up. Pan-fried pork buns with soy milk is the hottest breakfast pairing around our company."
Justin was sleepy and annoyed. But he couldn't get mad at Jane. After rolling on the bed a few times, he sat up with his frizzy hair.
Jane asked, "What did you say about your Uncle Edward? Did you two play games all night?"
After grabbing a phone from under the pillow and throwing it beside the bed, Justin simply said, "See for yourself."
After that, he got out of bed and went to the bathroom.
He almost fell asleep on the toilet. As he walked out of the bathroom, he saw Jane sitting in a chair with both of her hands holding his phone and her eyes being fixed on the phone screen.
While brushing his teeth, Justin walked around behind Jane. She was playing a game. But he watched for a few minutes and never found anything to laugh at her. In the end he had to run to the bathroom to spit first because of the foam in his mouth.
When he came back, Jane said without looking up, "You can eat your breakfast first."
Justin stood behind her with pan-fried pork buns and soy milk, watching her play games. After watching for a while, he couldn't help but ask, "Do you usually play games?"
"Basically no time."
"Then your hands are very fast."
"Maybe geniuses are like this." Jane said calmly.
Justin was speechless. Knowing that she couldn't see him, he mocked, "Are you adults so shameless?"
Jane said, "I'm serious. I did my homework well and was good at playing the game and flying the kite. Don't you think I'm a genius?"
"Ha ha."
"Don't worship me. Work hard. You can make it too."
Justin took a sip of soy milk and teased, "I found that you've been exposed."
When they first met, she still pretended to be a interesting teacher in front of him. But now, she sat with him standing and he watched her play with his phone. Others may not be able to tell who is the employee and who is the employer.
Jane said, "Don't say that. I treat you as my own."
Justin said, "This was announced unilaterally by you. Why don't you ask me if I take you as my own?"
Jane said casually, "Your Uncle Edward said I was his own, not to mention you."
When Jane mentioned Edward, Justin seemed to have found a good shield against Jane.
He ate half of a pan-fried pork bun in one bite and said hard, "You are a genius? Do you know who made this game?"
Jane, who was devoted to two things, was beaten to the ground before she had time to dodge.
She simply put down the phone and turned around and said, "Your Uncle Edward?"
Justin couldn't help showing off, "This is a newly developed game by Uncle Edward's game company, which is still in the private beta stage."
Jane pursed her lips, "His company developed it, instead of him."
Seeing Justin staring at her, Jane hurriedly said, "Amazing! Your Uncle Edward are the best!"
Justin said, "Dare you look down on my Uncle Edward?"
Jane replied solemnly, "I don't dare. I just got beaten up by your Uncle Edward."
Hearing that Jane lost Sudoku to Edward, Justin mocked, "How dare you to call yourself a genius in front of me... Do you think I have never seen a genius? My Uncle Edward is a genius! You have a little bit of smarts at most."
No matter what he said, Jane was extremely supportive of him. Justin thought she was perfunctory for him because of her too attentive cooperation.
Justin was displeased with her attitude and rushed to show off, "Do you know how many girls like my Uncle Edward?"
Jane blinked innocently, "I don't know."
Justin snorted coldly, "As far as I know, there are at least a dozen girls who like him. Everyone except of you has a good taste."
Jane said, "You know what, Justin? My feelings for your Uncle Edward are undeniable."
And that feeling had nothing to do with love. But before she could say the next words, she heard a familiar male voice suddenly behind her, "Have the class started yet?"
Jane turned her head quickly to see Edward in black trousers and a black satin shirt standing not far behind her.
