Chapter 35 Throwing Back Justin's Covers
Jane was picked up by the driver to the Smith family after 10 o'clock the next morning. Sam Williams walked to her, and she got out of the car and greeted him, "Hello, Sam." He greeted her with a smile, "Miss Cooper, you're here."
They walked inside together, and Jane asked, "How was Justin these two days? Did he take the medicine on time?"
With relief in his eyes, Sam replied to her, "Thanks to your suggestion, we ground up the medicine and mixed it into the meal, so he didn't know there was medicine in his meal. However, he was unwilling to use the topical medication, so please bother to persuade him again."
Jane was a little curious, so she couldn't help to ask, "Didn't Mr. Smith care about him?"
Sam slightly looked down and said softly, "Mr. Smith loves Justin so much that he doesn't want to go against Justin's will."
Jane understood at once that Justin was spoiled by Smith.
They came to the stairs. Sam usually would send Jane upstairs, but today it happened that an aunt came to see him as if there was something going on in the outer courtyard. Jane said, "Sam, you just do what you need to do. I'll go upstairs by myself."
Sam nodded and said, "You can call us anytime if you need anything."
Jane had been to the Smith family many times, so she was familiar with the way. She arrived at Justin's room on the second floor, and she opened the door and pulled open the living room curtains out of habit. Then she walked to the bedroom, knocked on the door, and said, "Justin."
Jane waited for a while, but no one answered. She said, "I'm coming in."
Jane turned the doorknob and gently opened the door. The room was quiet and dark, and the cold air came to her face. She saw a figure on the bed, covered from head to toe by a soft white blanket, without exposing even a hair.
Jane walked inside while calling out, "Justin, get up."
The person under the blanket didn't say a word. Then, Jane walked around the bed and drew the flannel curtains, and the glaring sunlight immediately brightened the room. She turned around and said, "Come on. Rise and shine!"
Justin didn't respond, so Jane stood beside the bed, threatening from above, "If you don't get up, I'll throw back your covers."
She knew that Justin had a big ego. He didn't ask Jane to help him even when he was too sick to get up. She thought this warning would be especially effective, but there was no reaction after she said the words.
Jane was surprised and slightly raised her eyebrows. She tentatively tapped the person under the blanket and said, "Justin?"
She was afraid that Justin was uncomfortable and passed out under the blanket, and she also worried that he pulled a prank and that there was actually no one inside.
It turned out that she had overthought. The person under the blanket hummed in a low voice, which showed that he was still asleep.
Hearing this, Jane kept waking him up, "Get up, I brought you something good. Don't you want to see it?" Then, she deliberately showed the rustling sound of unpacking to him. Countless practices showed that it was impossible to wake up a person who was pretending sleeping with empty words, but gifts could wake up a person who was really asleep.
However, Justin was so determined that he didn't move a bit when Jane kept tempting him. She stood beside the bed and gave him the ultimatum, "I will throw back your covers. I will count to three. One...two...three."
She didn't have other ways, so she dragged the corner of the blanket and slowly dragged it down by a dozen to twenty centimeters. She was afraid that Justin didn't wear clothes, so she didn't dare to pull too much. The person's head slowly showed up, with a short haircut on it. Jane stared at the hair for three seconds and realized that something was wrong. Justin's hair was much longer than this.
She was confused when the person under the blanket moved and hummed lightly as if he had slept on his stomach for a long time, so his shoulders were a little sore. He raised his head inch by inch to face the person who woke him up.
Jane saw Smith's face and met his sleepy eyes for at least five seconds. Neither of them spoke until Jane suddenly released the hand which was grabbing the corner of the blanket.
Smith's head was instantly covered by the soft blanket. Jane turned around and wanted to leave, but behind her came Smith's voice, "Where are you going?"
Jane turned around awkwardly, "I'm sorry, Mr. Smith. I didn't know it was you."
Jane couldn't believe that she threw back Smith's covers. Her heart was beating like a drum, and she even forgot to use the honorific title.
Smith had already woken up and sat on the bed. He drowsily leaned on the head of the bed with his never-be-messed hair. The blanket was pulled to his waist, and his ripped arms and chest came out. The blanket was white while his skin was light caramel-colored, which was extremely sexy under the sunshine.
Jane didn't know where to look at. It seemed to be impolite not to look up at him, but if she looked up at him, she would see Smith's sexy body.
Smith was in a daze and didn't say anything for a long time. Jane felt that the atmosphere now was quite unusual, so after a while, she took the initiative to say, "Mr. Smith, where is Justin?"
Smith said slowly, pursing his lips, which were fleshy but not fat, "I don't know."
Jane thought, "He doesn't know?"
Jane lifted her eyes, examining the face of the man on the bed. Smith was glassy-eyed, staring into space and softly chattering, "We watched a movie last night..."
Jane said in her heart, "Then where was Justin after the movie?"
Thinking about where Justin was, Jane heard a familiar voice from behind, "What is the good thing you bring to me?"
Jane turned her head to see that Justin wore loungewear with messy hair. He came from the next bedroom.
Jane pointed to the bedside table. There was an Internet-famous peach cake, which was just unpacked. The cake was so cute with its pink color and cute facial features painted on it that everyone loved it.
Justin slightly rolled his eyes and said with a little disgust, "I thought it was something good."
Jane said, "A lot of people queued up to buy it."
Justin said, "I don't want it." He was not a child.
When Jane was just about to say something, Smith said in a deep voice, "I want it."
Jane looked at him following the sound. Smith threw back the covers and got up. He wore a pair of gray pants for his lower body and was naked for the upper body. His spine was stretched when he bent over, and the muscles on both sides of his waist were strained. When he turned around, his abs were clear to see.
She immediately looked away, pretending to be calm. Smith picked up the cake and walked toward her. He didn't look at other places when walking past her, and said to Justin, "Hurry up to get your things done. It's time for class."
Justin complained in a lazy tone, "You promised me to watch a movie with me, but you fell asleep after only 20 minutes of the movie."
Smith said with mockery, "The horror film was like a joke, but you didn't dare to watch it by yourself..."
Justin was annoyed and said, "I dare to watch it by myself! You'd better be off. It's time for class."
Jane turned around and watched Smith walk away. The cake was in his hands steadily. She didn't know whether it was because the cake's expression was too alive or not, and she felt that Smith was showing off.
Jane and Justin were still in the room. Justin was embarrassed by Smith just now, so he got angry at Jane, "Why did you buy the cake?"
Jane said, "I thought that you'd just recovered, so I bought it for you."
Justin frowned and said, "I don't like these things, but he likes to eat."
After a pause, he stared at Jane and asked in a deep voice, "Did you buy it on purpose to please him?"
