Chapter 42 Give Me A Kiss

Chapter 42 Give Me A Kiss
He caressed her lower back with his palm very slowly, as if he was flirting or coaxing her to sleep.
He always had a higher body temperature.
Natalie's head was resting on the lower half of the pillow. Once she was away from the pillow with her face buried in his chest, her hands felt so warm and her heart was itching.
The moment she was embraced, her uneasiness caused by her wild thoughts was gone instantly, and she quickly fell into sleep.
She vaguely heard his soft and hoarse voice, "You're so cute. Aren't you afraid that I will eat you?"
Was she cute? She clutched his shirt tightly around her waist and thought to herself sleepily.
"Well, go ahead..."
But she was so sleepy that she wasn't sure if she said it out or not.
Some mysterious power must be hovering around that night, and they both became very different. Luke was no longer stubborn while she became unprecedentedly gentle and clingy.
She slept until the next morning.
Feeling the light, Natalie opened her eyes, and saw a black shirt, an open collar and a clear collarbone.
With sleepy eyes, she looked up gradually.
After lifting her head, she met his deep gaze.
Her heart skipped a beat.
While she was still stunned, Luke smiled lightly, and his voice was naturally hoarse, "Awake?"
He probably woke up a while ago and stared at her with his gentle eyes.
Last night she was in a daze with illness. Now her fever had gone and her mind was clearer. She vaguely remembered that... she asked him to coax her in her sleep.
It was the first time she ever shared a bed with a man. She suddenly felt ashamed.
Natalie blinked when she felt the heat of his body. She was still clenching his shirt tightly.
She blushed and let go quietly. Then she moved to the other side of the bed without making a sound.
As soon as she moved, her waist was held by Luke's strong arm, and she was in his arms again.
His warm breath sprayed on her forehead occasionally. She was so nervous that she clenched her fists.
"We've already slept together. What are you running for?" Luke grinned maliciously, "You're not innocent."
Natalie was pressed down by his arms and couldn't escape. She blushed and lowered her head, "Stop..."
Luke put his other hand behind her head and slowly stroked her loose hair, "To be honest, aren't you the one who pull me into bed?"
What was done could not be undone.
The atmosphere became intense again.
Natalie still felt weak, but she smelt fresh and pleasant.
"Why are you..." she muttered.
"There's more?" Luke pinched her waist playfully, "To be fair, why don't you admit it, girl?"
Natalie twisted her waist hard and groaned because of itchiness.
There was not much space in the bed, and it was easy for them to do something they shouldn't do. Luke held her waist and reminded in a low voice, "Don't move."
It was itchy. Natalie tried to dodge his hand and leaned forward subconsciously, but accidentally touched some parts of his body.
She suddenly froze. Both fell silent.
She seemed frightened. Luke took a deep breath and knocked her on the head, "I told you to stop moving."
He sounded soft and calm, but it couldn't hide the strange hoarseness in his voice, which made her blush with embarrassment.
She didn't say anything and turned her back slowly.
There was a slight movement behind her. He got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.
When the door was closed, Natalie covered her face in embarrassment. When she touched his trousers just now, it felt so hard.
She had never encountered such a situation. She found it abashed. After getting up and taking a shower, Luke ordered breakfast. When they sat at the dining table, she still didn't dare to look at him.
She lowered her head deeply during the breakfast. Thinking that Luke, whom she had intimate contact with, was sitting across from her and watching her right now, she couldn't help feeling happy.
Seeing her like this, Luke opened his mouth, but said nothing. They quietly finished their breakfast.
She felt much better today, and she had a lot of work to do. But Luke called her office and asked for a few days off for her yesterday. So she decided to take a day off after some thoughts.
When they left the hospital, many people looked at them curiously along the way, as if she was Luke's secret lover.
She felt somewhat uncomfortable.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Natalie fastened her seatbelt and put her bag on her lap without saying a word.
Luke started the car, looked at her, and found that she still kept silent. He said with a smile, "Are you still shy?"
She rolled her eyes at him, as if saying, "It's all your fault."
"
"It's normal physiological response of a healthy man and it's not all my fault." Luke touched her ear with his fingertips, "And I was touched and taken advantage of."
Natalie never slept with a man before. When he talked about it, she felt inevitably embarrassed.
"You..." She glared at him.
Luke smiled, leaned towards her slowly, and whispered in a deliberately seductive tone, "I'm just a man who likes a girl."
It was hard to argue with him and she could only snort.
"Don't you agree?" Luke kept teasing her.
Natalie answered his question with her face tilted toward the car window.
Outside the window was the parking lot of the hospital, where he had beaten Forrest for her. She got into trouble and so many things had happened between them since that incident.
Natalie blinked and said, "You are in Athana all the time. Do you think you have time for dating..."
Her voice was very soft, and Luke pondered for a while, and said helplessly, "I was too busy recently. I'll come over to see you whenever I have time in the future, OK?"
Then he covered the back of her hand with his palm.

Natalie's fingertips trembled slightly, but she pulled out her hand.
She couldn't tell why. He meant that he would only come over to see her when he was free. She felt contented in her heart. Could she expect him to stay in Alcomara forever? No!
Natalie nodded lightly, stared at her hand on her lap, and blurted out, "What does Sloane mean to you? Do you like her?"
It would be petty to bring it up again, but she had to ask him about it.
Luke expected that she would ask the question. He frowned slightly and smiled, "Of course not."
Natalie was simple and just wanted him to say it. His answer made her undoubtedly satisfied. At least she felt a little better after hearing it.
"Everyone now thinks she's your fiancée." Natalie finally raised her head and looked at him intently.
"Are you jealous?" He asked softly.
Natalie didn't say anything. She just stared at him aggrievedly.
At that moment, Luke suddenly didn't want to tease her anymore. She looked so pitiful. It was obviously his fault to make her so unhappy.
He should try his best to cheer her up.
After glancing at his watch, he said, "Wait."
Then he drove directly out of the hospital and went to a nearby jewelry store.
Two minutes later, Luke got back into the car, grabbed her hand, and put something on her wrist.
Natalie looked in amazement at the bracelet on her wrist. It was a red braided bracelet with a golden rose on it.
The other one looked exactly the same, and he put it on his left hand.
"What is this?" Natalie looked blank.
Luke shook it and put down his left hand in satisfaction, "Don't couples like to wear this kind of bracelet?"
"You..." Before she finished, Luke suddenly stared at her hair. She was surprised when he suddenly leaned forward and pulled her hair band off her ponytail.
"What are you doing... Hey!" Before she could stop him, her long hair lost its restraint, and it fell on her shoulder suddenly.
He looked at her thin black hair band, and then put it on his left wrist.
He smiled contentedly and said, "Don't you girls call it a taken man?"
"Stop it." Natalie gave him a dirty look, "You're so childish!"
"You're right." He smiled.
Natalie was speechless. She could only complain, "Be mature!"
After a moment of silence, she looked at him again and found him smiling. She couldn't help feeling happy.
It was a childish game, but she liked it somehow.
Luke leaned over in the driver's seat, looked at her with a smile, and asked suddenly, "Do you like it? If you don't, we can pick up another one when I come over next time."
Natalie could understand his implication. After dropping off her home, he had to catch a plane back to Athana.
Last night he flew over to see her, and stayed with her until now. He must have a lot of tricky things to deal with in Athana .
Natalie hesitated. She wanted him to stay longer enough to have lunch with her, but her rationality told her otherwise.
Natalie touched the golden bracelet, and gradually softened her voice, "It's pretty. I like it."
Luke smiled and looked at her face quietly without saying a word.
After seeing her home, it was time to say goodbye. Luke didn't stop at the entrance of Clovervale Residence, but drove her downstairs.
"Go get some sleep and remember to take your medicine after lunch." Luke slowly stopped the car.
She nodded, and unfastened her seat belt. She was reluctant to get out of the car, but she was afraid that he would miss the plane. She hesitated for a short moment and said, "You said you would come over to see me whenever you have time. Do you mean it?" She lowered her eyes and asked expectantly.
She was serious.
Luke looked at her. She was waiting for an answer. He said with a smile, "I have never lied to you.
Sitting on the sofa in the living room back at home, Natalie was still thinking about his face when he said it.
His voice was soft yet reassuring.
Natalie believed in him.
At night, after feeding the dog, Natalie sat on the sofa, thinking quietly for a long time.
Natalie estimated that Luke had already arrived at the airport. She wondered if he was on the plane yet.
She took out her phone and called him.
It rang several seconds before it was answered.
"What is it?" He chuckled. There were noises around, and he was walking towards the airport.
She whispered his name, "Luke."
"What?" He responded lightly.
Her dog came over to her, wagging its tail. She touched its head, and suddenly felt shy. She paused for a moment before she said, "Let's date."
It fell silent on the other end of the phone.
Natalie was a little nervous. When he fell silent, she bit her lips and became even more nervous.
Why didn't he say something?
The clock on the wall was ticking.
When Natalie thought she should hung up, Luke finally made a sound and his voice was a little hoarse, "Are you still at home?"
Natalie wasn't happy about his response. She shrugged and said, "Yes."
"Got it." He hung up.
Natalie stared at her phone screen. She was stunned for a while.
She pursed her lips, threw away her phone, and lay down on the sofa in depression. She wanted to fall asleep, but couldn't.
She was so annoyed.
No wonder they said that a man didn't cherish a woman after they slept together.
Natalie buried her face in her arms, and her eyes felt slightly warm. She wasn't sure if it was due to her illness or his ambiguous attitude.
About half an hour, she suddenly heard a quick knock on the door.
She woke up and stumbled to the door.
Before she could see who it was, a man quickly squeezed into the room and slammed the door. Before she could react, she was pushed and knocked against the door.
He stepped forward and pressed her legs against hers against the door.
His hoarse voice came from above her head, "Girl, give me a kiss."
