Chapter 110 You are That Bad Man

Chapter 110 You are That Bad Man
What Liu Cuihua did every time when someone came here to borrow grain was to tell them how poor her family was and even showed them the rice bags to increase credibility.
"Well, I know we're all living a hard life. I would share some with you. But I get a big family to feed so I have to save some for them."
When Liu Cuihua was sharing the grain, another man's wife who had borrowed the grain ran back and yelled,
"Mrs. Wu. Trouble, trouble!"
Liu Cuihua stopped to look up at her and asked, "What's going on?"
Not having caught her breath, that woman panted, "Just now, I went to the mountain to search for food only to find a group of soldiers coming towards us. I'm not sure whether they have recruited enough soldiers or not, and I'm worried that they will catch people in our village!"
That woman's words caused an uproar immediately.
"Hurry up! All the men run out to hide for not being caught!"
"Yea! My son is still at home! I have to go back to check on him!"
"I don't know if they would even catch my old man…"

All the men of the Wu family went to the mountain early in the morning. They planned to grow vegetables in winter, so they needed a lot of wood. Even Wu Xiyuan was taken away by his father.
Since people who came here to borrow grain heard this news, some left.
Su Jiuyue contemplated those soldiers who came here had another intention.
When those soldiers came into the village, Su Jiuyue was more sure of her guess.
What was happening was like her dream that those people came here for Wu Zongyuan.
Although Wu Zongyuan had hidden in the mountain with their family's help, Su Jiuyue was still worried sick.
Those soldiers started to search from the first household the moment they came in. Even the cellar was included in their searching.
Su Jiuyue frowned more tightly, and she whispered to Liu Cuihua, "Mom, what if they find the grain we hid in our cellar?"
Liu Cuihua turned flustered since their family had had meat yesterday and so many people came here to borrow the grain. Liu Cuihua thought if villagers knew much more grain was hidden in Wu family's cellar, there would be potential trouble for their whole family.
But no matter how uneasy she felt, there was no time to transfer the grain in the cellar. What they could do is to resign themselves to their fate.
When those soldiers searched Wu family, Su Jiuyue found the leader was one of her acquaintances.
That person was A Da who served Su Zhuang. Su Jiuyue felt even more frightened at the thought that she and Wu Xiyuan seemed to have offended him a few days ago.
Even so, Su Jiuyue believed she had to show him respect so she gave him a salute.
"Sir, we meet again."
A Da knowing Su Jiuyue had saved his Miss's life waved to his men and ordered, "You all continue to search the next house. I'll do my job by myself here!"
"Yes, sir."
When his men left, A Da then looked at Su Jiuyue who was stunned and asked, "So, couldn't I be treated even with a bowl of water?"
Liu Cuihua standing beside didn't who this man was. Judging by his handling method, she realized he offered them respect and wondered what had happened between Su Jiuyue and him.
Before Su Jiuyue made any feedback, Liu Cuihua hurriedly reacted and said, "You girl, what're are you waiting for? Go and get the tea for this soldier!"
Su Jiuyue came to her sense and answered, "On my way!"
Su Jiuyue thought A Da would give them a hard time but it turned out she was narrow-minded.

Su Jiuyue made tea for him using the superb tea leaves sent by Su Zhuang. She filled the tea in a big bowl and held it to the hall.
A Da had served in the military camp, so he did not care about trifle formality. Instead, he thought this big bowl was much better for drinking tea.
Seeing him drink the tea without dislike, Su Jiuyue attempted to ask, "Sir, what are you looking for?"
Putting down the tea bowl, A Da squinted at her. Liu Cuihua smiled and waved her hand hurriedly. "No offense. I just thought I might have seen it and could help you."
Then A Da shifted his eyes and replied casually, "Well, that is, Prince Yan's nephew is lost. We just want to find out that person who has the nerve to kidnap him."
As the "kidnapper", Su Jiuyue felt a quiver through her body. She cautiously asked, "How could Prince Yan's nephew get lost? He should be followed by the adults."
A Da rolled his eyes, thinking the Prince did this for the throne.
Prince Yan didn't care about his nephew. Actually, his nephew's presence would always bother him.
But all of this was about politics, which had nothing to do with these ordinary people. Therefore, A Da wouldn't tell them.
"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask!" A Da scolded.
Bearing the fear that Su Jiuyue could enrage him, Liu Cuihua hurriedly showed a hint to her of stopping asking.
Then Liu Cuihua turned to apologize to A Da, "I'm sorry if my daughter-in-law offend you. Don't waste your precious time on her. Would you like a refill?"
As she said that, Liu Cuihua refilled the bowl. At that moment, Wu Xiyuan's voice was heard.
"Honey! Honey! Take a look at what I take back for you!"
Wu Xiyuan's voice mixed with excitement could be heard even at a long distance.
Before Su Jiuyue went out, Wu Xiyuan dashed in like a foolhardy beast.
He was carrying a small basket, which was used by Su Jiuyue to pick mushrooms.
"What is it?" Su Jiuyue asked curiously.
Wu Xiyuan lifted the weeds covering the basket to reveal two small, furry things below.
Su Jiuyue was shocked and exclaimed, "Bunnies!"
Su Jiuyue's gladness cheered Wu Xiyuan, his eyes sparkling, "Yea! The eldest brother said these two bunnies are nearly frozen to death. So he let me take them back for rearing. I think you are a good raiser since you take good care of chickens!"
As soon as she heard the bunnies were frozen to death, Su Jiuyue got a little worried, not caring that A Da was still in the room, and hurried back to her room with the basket.
There was a stove in her room. She believed that these two bunnies would get better if they stayed close to the stove.
Bunnies were only the size of the palm, and their soft fur had just grown. Su Jiuyue thought it should be tactile.
With this thought, Su Jiuyue did it. She gently touched bunnies' soft fur with her fingers, and then quickly withdrew her hand.
The little rabbit had slept as if they had not noticed her prank at all. Su Jiuyue showed a big sweet smile at this moment.
"Honey, will they survive by so?"
"Probably? After all, our house is quite warm."
"But what are we going to feed them?"
"Vegetable leaves should work. When vegetables we grew are ripe, we could feed them a few rotten leaves."
"Okay!"
When they had settled bunnies, they came to realize that there was a guest in the hall.
At this moment, Wu Xiyuan realized a man was in the hall. When he saw A Da, he said with disdain, "You! You're that bad man!"
A Da was dumbfounded, not knowing how to react. He knew of Wu Xiyuan's health situation. A Da admitted he had said something inappropriate previously so he couldn't refute Wu Xiyuan's blame.
"Yes. I'm that bad man. If you say that again, I will arrest you!"
