Chapter 25 There's Food over There
After eating and washing the dishes, Su Jiuyue and Wu Xiyuan were going to leave.
The Su family did not mean to stay with them. "Well, be safe on the road."
Not long after walking out of the village, Wu Xiyuan shook Su Jiuyue's hand and asked, "Dear, you haven't been full, have you?"
Su Jiuyue was shocked when she heard that and hurriedly replied, "I'm full."
Wu Xiyuan pressed his lips and said, "You're lying. You eat a big bowl of rice at home, but you ate little just now. You don't even have the dishes."
Even her parents didn't notice that, but Wu Xiyuan did. Tears welled up her eyes.
Wu Xiyuan took her hand and said, "Go! Let's go find food!"
Where to find food at this time? There was nothing to eat now.
Wu Xiyuan pulled Su Jiuyue to run in another direction. Su Jiuyue was a little anxious. "This is not the way home! Don't go blindly. We'll be getting lost!"
"No way! There's food over there!"
Su Jiuyue didn't know how he knew that, but he was like a wild horse and she couldn't restrain him, so she could only follow him.
When they reached a col, Wu Xiyuan slowed down and gestured for Su Jiuyue to keep silent.
Su Jiuyue was puzzled, but she kept silent as he did.
They held hands and walked gently towards the front. And then Su Jiuyue heard some noises.
Next to a pool of water that was about to dry up, two antelopes were fighting.
One of the antelope had its horns broken off, and it was kneeling on the ground, unable to get up.
Su Jiuyue looked at Wu Xiyuan in surprise.

It was too strange.
They had run for at least five kilometers. How did he know that there were antelopes fighting over here?
Or maybe that was not what he said to eat.
They squatted in the bushes for a while, and the duel had ended. One antelope had fallen to the ground, and the other ran away tremblingly.
Only then did Su Jiuyue let out a breath and feel relaxed. She asked Wu Xiyuan, "What to eat?"
Wu Xiyuan looked at the antelope that had fallen to the ground and said with an innocent look, "It's food when it's dead."
Su Jiuyue looked straight at him, trying to figure out what he was thinking, but she found nothing.
"How do you know there are two antelopes fighting here?" Wu Xiyuan's mind was as straightforward as that of an eight-year-old child. So she didn't beat around the bush and just asked him straightforwardly.
Wu Xiyuan pointed to a small gray bird on a branch not far away and said, "It told me."
Su Jiuyue's eyes widened. "You can understand its words?"
She had heard the bird chirping, but she didn't put it to heart. She didn't expect that Wu Xiyuan could understand that.
Wu Xiyuan nodded. It happened that the little bird chirped again. Su Jiuyue asked, "What did it say this time?"
"It said it's getting dark and it's going home."
Su Jiuyue came back to her senses, and then looked at the sun in the sky, which was setting. It was not easy to walk on the mountain roads in the evening, not to mention that they had to take the antelope with them, so they must go home now.
She stood up and walked towards the antelope, trying to carry it on her back.
