MARA'S POV
It was almost midnight when we reach our home. 
We went straight to our room. 
I went first to the bathroom to ready myself to sleep. 
I open the window to breathe some fresh air. 
Many things happened in the past months. I'm not sure though if I'm liking it, especially the change that I am feeling right now. 
Before I only wanted to love our business because that's what I made of, but things change after I married him. 
He made me feel happy and loved. That's why suddenly, I started to want something aside from business. I started to wish for my husband's love and affection, and I started to hope for a normal and loving family. 
But reality will slap you real hard. I was slapped again by the truth, that I am just a business wife. 
I quickly wipe my tears when I heard the door from the bathroom. I don't want Maru to see me crying. I don't him to see me as a pathetic woman.
After a few minutes, I felt his warmth as he hugs me from the back. I closed my eyes to savor this moment.
"Penny for your thought wife?" He said sweetly. 
I shake my head and tried to smile at him. 
"Nothing." I just said. 
"Are you sure?" He asked me again. I can hear the concern in his voice.
I close my eyes again when I felt his kiss on my shoulder. 
"Are you sure you're okay, wife?" He confirmed again.
I nodded at him.
Then his kiss went from my shoulder to my neck, my ears until it reaches my lips. 
"I love you wife!" He muttered. 
He turned me to face him to give me a more passionate kiss. His kiss was so gentle and passionate. 
"I love you," he said between our kisses. 
I just deepen our kiss as my response. 
I heard him groan. His groan made me feel hotter and want it more. 
He started taking my nighties off. He went on my tummy and kissed it. 
"Baby I will make love with your mom tonight. I will be very careful I promise." He whispered on my belly. 
And then he faced me again and kissed me. 
He carefully lay me in bed and started our lovemaking.

I woke up early after our lovemaking last night. 
I just watch him peacefully asleep. My favorite thing to do every morning is to memorize his face. 
This is the guy that I love dearly. The father of my child. I can't help myself, so I follow my heart and gave him a quick kiss. I always do this to him. 
He told me that my child will look like him because I am always craving him. 
When I tease him by telling him that I am also craving for Alex, his face will turn sour which I find cuter. 
I felt him hugging me but I stop him. 
"You'll crash the baby." I reminded him. 
He chuckled and then he hugs me from the back. 
"Good morning wife!" He greeted me while giving me little kisses on my shoulder. 
"Morning hon and to your junior as well!" I said teasingly. 
"Naughty wife," He said, and he tightened his hug. 
Oh, I love to wake up like this every day!

We are having our breakfast when Maru got a call from his dad. 
"Yes, dad?" His eyes widen and then he smiled. 
Based on his reaction, I think he got good news from his dad. 
"Okay, Dad! We will go there right now." 
"What did dad say?" Excitement is visible in my voice. 
"My brother is back!" He happily announced. 
I furrowed. "Brother?" 
I didn't know that he has a brother. 
All my life I thought that Maru was an only child of the Ottave. 
"I have an older brother. But he fought with dad that's why he was never mentioned in any events. My dad was furious at him that's why he always said that I am his only child. And I'm just glad that they are okay now." He explained. 
"That's great news! But is it okay to ask what happen?" I asked curiously. 
He pinched my nose. "Of course, you're my wife you have the right to know all the things about our family." 
I just smile. 
"My big brother is not interested in our family business. As per him, he wanted to create his empire. My big brother was great at handling business. When we were in high school, he already has his own money. He's good in the stock market, he invested in it because that is where he will get funds for his future empire." He started his speech.  
"At first, dad is happy with what my brother is doing. He saw him as the heir of his business. But the thing is, my brother told dad that he has no plan to inherit the business." 
"They always argue about that until my dad chases him out of our house." He continued. 
"Why didn't I meet him before?" 
"We're not studying in the same school. And he's not that sociable. He barely showed his face when we have a gathering in the house." 
"What is his name again?" I asked curiously. 
He looked at me with suspicion. "Why do you want to know his name?" 
I bit my lips trying to control myself to smile. "Nothing. Why? Is it wrong to know the name of my brother-in-law?" 
"His name is James Maru Ottave." 
My brow creased. His name sounds familiar. 
"Why Mara?" 
I shake my head. "Nothing. It's just that his name sound familiar." 
"Maybe because he was your supposed husband." 
I was shocked. "What do you mean?" 
He just shrugged. "He was the one our parents arranged for you if my dad did not chase him out." 
I suddenly became silent. I'm trying to remember things. 
James is already in high school when his dad chases him out. I was only 10 years old when I heard my parents talking about my future husband. 
How did Maru's brother become my supposed husband? 
"Why are you not saying, anything wife?" 
"Nothing."
