Chapter 34. Prewedding Photos
The day passed. The next morning, Vega felt her body warm because it had been exposed to sunlight. As a result, she was unable to sleep any longer. Thus, she opened her eyes.
When she opened her eyes, she saw that the weather was clear and that her body was indeed exposed to the sun's rays from the window that was far to her right. After that, she looked around. On the left, there's a very large wardrobe. Next to the wardrobe is a bookcase.
In front of her, there's a bag on the floor. There's also a study table. It doesn't like her place.
"It's not my place. Where am I?" Vega immediately asked herself.
She tried to remember where she was. On her left, on the bed, she saw the smooth and broad back of a man.
She tried to take a closer look at the man's face. Then, she found Alberto was still fast asleep and snoring.
She immediately remembered that they fell asleep in Alberto's room after they had sex. At that moment, she immediately woke up with a body position that almost jumped.
"Honey! What time is it?" She asked suddenly.
Alberto immediately looked at her alarm, which was located on the table not far from him. After that, he found his alarm showing nine o'clock in the morning.
"Nine o'clock, honey." Alberto answered lazily and he closed his eyes again.
Alberto wished to continue sleeping. He thought that day was a holiday, so he could sleep as much as he wanted. Meanwhile, Vega's eyes immediately bulged and her body immediately stood up from the bed because Vega was very surprised when she found out that the time was nine o'clock.
"Nine o'clock? We're late to go to campus!" She almost shouted because she was shocked and couldn't believe that she could wake up at nine o'clock.
"Today is a holiday, Honey," said Alberto lazily.
"Holiday? Today is Monday! We should have been on campus today!" Vega was angry because she saw Alberto still slept.
"Today is a national holiday! "So we don't go to the campus." Alberto reminded Vega
"Oh. You're right." Vega immediately hit her head because she forgot.
"How about we schedule a plan for choosing pre-wedding photos and shooting pre-wedding photos today? The campus is on holiday. So we can use it for pre-wedding photo shoots if we need to." Vega came up with an idea.
"Indeed, can the photographer and the studio be used today? And can the campus be used? Today is a holiday!" Alberto commented again.
"There must be someone who is being mentored on campus. If the campus is closed, I can contact the campus guard who lives near the campus to open the campus for a while. Anyway, we can call Antonio Rivera. He is a photographer, and his photo studio always opens every day, including holidays and weekends." Vega explained her ideas.
Hearing Vega mention the name "Antonio Rivera," Alberto immediately thought of Antonio, who was his friend in Lorena's class. Alberto asked abruptly as he stood up. "Wait! Antonio Rivera is Lorena's classmate in Lorena's class, right?"
"Yes." Vega nodded her head.
"He is." Vega looked at Alberto.
"I just found out that he works as a photographer. No wonder his photos are always wonderful!" Alberto has just realized that Antonio was working as a photographer.
"I've known for a long time."
"I'm calling Antonio now!" After that, Vega took her phone, and she sent a text to Antonio.
"Hello, Antonio! I'm Professor Vega." She introduced herself.
"Hello, Professor! What's wrong?" Antonio replied.
"Antonio, I want to do a pre-wedding photo today. Do you want to accept it?" Vega made sure that Antonio was able to photograph it that day.
"Yes, I want. My photo studio is always open, even on holidays. How many photos do you plan to print?"
"How many photos do you want to print, Alberto?" Vega asked about the number of photos required.
Alberto immediately estimated the number of photos to be printed. He immediately estimated that they would be enough to print four or six photos. "Apparently, four or six will be enough."
"How about four photos first, Alberto?" Vega tried to negotiate with Alberto, as she thought six photos will be too much. It's better if she prints fewer photos first. If she needs more photos, she can ask Antonio to print them out later.
"Okay." Albert relented.
"Between four and six, but we already have the photos. I'd like to ask you to pick some good photos from my collection and Alberto's collection." Vega explained her plan.
"Okay. I can do that. Then just send me the collections!" said Antonio.
"I'll cook breakfast for us first! You can take a shower and get ready first or collect the data first." Vega immediately rushed to the kitchen.
"No, Honey. I don't want breakfast anymore. We'll have lunch later!" interrupted Alberto.
"Honey, breakfast is important for our health. Breakfast is necessary for our energy. So, we must have breakfast." Vega immediately advised Alberto how important it was for them to have breakfast.
Hearing that, Alberto could only obey. Vega immediately continued her way to the kitchen to cook the food they would eat for breakfast that morning, while Alberto started his laptop, and he collected the photo files that he had collected in the past.
Arriving in the kitchen, Vega went straight to the refrigerator. Once near the refrigerator, she immediately opened the refrigerator door, and then she searched for ingredients in Alberto's kitchen.
She only found eggs there. Vega immediately cooked rice and fried eggs for their breakfast that morning. While Vega was cooking, Alberto walked towards Vega while calling her because he needed the photo data on her phone.
"Yes," said Vega.
"Honey, can I borrow your phone? I want to ask for our photos on your phone," said Alberto while he was next to Vega.
"Here it is! " Vega immediately gave Alberto her phone, and Alberto took it.
After that, Alberto went to his laptop again. Then, he connected Vega's phone and Alberto's laptop. After that, he copied the photo data from Vega's phone to his laptop.
Not long after, all the photos had been copied. Alberto immediately returned Vega's phone while thanking her. "Here's the phone! Thank you!"
"You're welcome." After that, Alberto immediately took a bath in the bathroom, and Vega continued to cook. Not long after, the fried eggs were ready, and Alberto had finished his bath. Vega immediately took a bath.
At that moment, Alberto immediately looked at all the photos on his laptop one by one and chose the best ones, according to him. Just as he finished looking through all the photos and selecting the best, Vega had finished his bath and was beside him.
"What are you doing?" Vega was curious about what Alberto did.
"Honey, I've gathered all the photos and selected the twenty that I think the best." Alberto immediately pointed his laptop at Vega.
"Okay. I'll see and choose!" After that, Vega looked at the photos one by one.
They discussed the ten best photos, according to them. After getting the ten best photos, Vega immediately sent the ten photos to Antonio.
"Okay. Let me see first!"
"Okay," replied Vega. Not long after, the rice was ready. Alberto and Vega immediately had breakfast that morning.
"Your foods are so delicious, Honey!" praised Alberto.
"It's the first time I've tried your foods. I've never tried your food before." Indeed, Alberto had just tried Vega's food that day. Usually, they're always dating and eating at fancy restaurants.
"It's just normal food, honey," commented Vega.
"So, can you cook amazing food too?" guessed Alberto.
"Yes, I can like cooking in bed, which we tried last night. We often do it, right?" Vega teased. They laughed right away.
Alberto tried to hold back his laughter and commented after he was satisfied with joking with Vega. "In that case, I often taste your food. That's so amazing!"
"The clear thing is that I can indeed cook extraordinary foods, such as western and Spanish food. Of course, I can cook spaghetti, which is your favorite food. I can do that, but I'm lazy because, as you know, I'm busy every day as a doctor. So, I think it will be easier and more practical if I directly order food via the Internet." Vega immediately commented.
Alberto's eyes lit up when Vega said that he can cook. He was even more amazed by Vega when she was able to cook spaghetti.
"Wow! I really can't wait to try your foods after we get married, Vega."
"It feels like we're just married people. We live together in this house. We have sex together, and in the morning we get ready. Either for work or going to campus," commented Vega.
"Yes." Alberto nodded his head.
Not long after, the atmosphere became quiet among those who were serious about continuing to eat breakfast that morning. However, suddenly Vega's phone rang, which indicated there was a notification. Vega immediately checked, and after that, she got a message from Antonio.
"Out of all these photos, I only got two good ones to print. Others are less suitable for printing. I'm afraid the photos will be bad when printed."
"Two? Which photos?" Vega couldn't believe it if, out of the ten photos she had chosen with Alberto, only two would be good if they were printed.
"Yes, two." Then, Antonio tagged two good photos, according to Antonio.
"How about you send all of your photo collections to Google Drive and then send me the link?" Antonio made suggestions.
"Okay."
Seeing Vega's serious face, Alberto immediately asked himself. "What's wrong? Why does Vega look so serious? What's the problem?"
After that, Vega looked at Alberto, who was deep in thought. Alberto immediately asked Vega what had happened. "What's wrong, Honey?"
Then, Vega told Alberto about Antonio's suggestion. Hearing Vega's words, Alberto immediately brought his body closer to Vega, and Alberto's eyes immediately bulged because he felt very shocked and couldn't believe it. "All the photos? All of them are more than 1GB! There will be insufficient time or space to upload all photos. Surely uploading all the photos won't take a minute!"
"Shall we go to Antonio's studio instead?" Alberto offered another piece of advice.
"I think we can do that. I'll just ask first!"
After that, Vega sent a message to Antonio. "Antonio, all the photo files are more than 1 GB. How about I give it to you in your studio later?"
"Okay. Later, you can also take photos there," replied Antonio.
"Okay. Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
After that, Alberto immediately copied all the photos to his flash disk, and Vega continued to have breakfast that morning. Then, they immediately finished their breakfast. After breakfast, they immediately put the plates on the plate rack, and after that, they went to Antonio's studio using Vega's car.
After 60 minutes, they arrived in front of Antonio's studio building, which was marked "Studio Nio." After that, Vega immediately parked the car in that place. Then, they opened the car door and got out of the car.
Then, they walked into Antonio's studio. At the door of Antonio's studio, a security guard asked what they needed. "Morning, ma'am! Is there anything I can do to assist you?"
"I want to meet Mr. Antonio." Vega answered firmly, and after that, the security guard escorted them to Antonio's office.
The security guard immediately knocked on Antonio's office door, and after that, he asked them to wait. "Please wait, ma'am!"
Not long after, the security guard left them. Alberto and Vega sat on the sofa in front of Antonio's study while waiting for a while. At that moment, Alberto was curious about what Antonio was doing.
Therefore, he peered through the gap in the window. He came across Antonio, who was cool enough to edit the photos he had taken.
After he found out what Antonio did, he went back to his original sofa and sat there. Not long after, Antonio went out of his room. After that, he found Vega and Alberto, who immediately stood up and approached him.
"Good morning, Antonio!" Vega shook Antonio's hand.
"Good morning, Professor Vega!" Antonio shook Vega's hand.
"Good morning, Alberto!" Antonio shook Alberto's hand.
"Come in!" exclaimed Antonio.
At Antonio's studio, Vega gave him a flash disk. Antonio immediately connected the flash disk to the laptop, and after that, he saw the photos one by one in detail.
"I just took one more picture. Since we need four photos, how about we take the photo here for one more photo?" Antonio made an offer to Vega.
"The plan is we want to take pictures on campus." Vega mentioned her plan.
"Okay. We can. However, there will be additional costs in the future due to the cost of traveling there." Antonio explained his decision.
"Okay. No problem."
After that, they went to the campus of Brittle University. After they arrived at the campus, they immediately went to the parking lot and parked their vehicles.
Then, they came to the parking lot and looked for interesting spots to take pictures, such as classrooms, parking lots, Professor Vega's room, hallways, etc. Then, they took pictures at each of these interesting spots with various styles, either directed by Antonio or styles that came out of their own minds.
Vega always looked at Antonio's photos after he took them. Vega always made sure that every shot looked perfect in her eyes. Until finally, they finished taking pictures in the hallway. After that, they had to choose one of the best photos.
"All photos are good! I'm confused which one we should choose," commented Vega.
"Alberto, which one is good?" Vega asked Alberto's opinion.
Alberto looked at the photos one by one until he chose the photo in the classroom with the moment of their meeting as the best photo. "This one!"
"Are the others to be deleted or what?"
"For the others, just send it to my phone via chat as a memento. If there's additional space later or I need more photos later, we can just print other shots."
"Okay. I will send later, and for the four photos that have been selected, I will print immediately. When do you plan to take it?"
"As soon as possible." Vega answered firmly.
"If you need a print for tomorrow, there will be an additional fee. If you need to print for three days again from today, the price is normal." Antonio explained.
"Three days again from today." Vega opted to print in three days.
After that, Antonio mentioned the cost of printing the photo as well as the cost of the photo service. Antonio immediately sent all the photos he took along with his account number via chat to Vega. After getting all the photos, Vega immediately transferred them to Antonio's account number.
"Okay. I'll let you know when the photos are ready."
"I'm sorry! I must go to the parking lot first! I want to go to my studio!" Antonio immediately left them.
"I also want to go to the parking lot!" said Vega.
After that, they walked to the parking lot. Once in the parking lot, they immediately walked to their respective cars and they separated there.
"See you tomorrow, Professor Vega and Alberto!" Antonio waved his hand to Professor Vega.
"Yes. See you tomorrow!" Professor Vega waved her hand to Antonio.
It was their last goodbye of that day before they got into their respective cars.
