Chapter 7. Unlucky Day
After that, Professor Vega walked toward her chair. She immediately put her things on the table, and then she began to prepare for the presentation of the material on that day. She tried to connect her laptop with a connecting cable to the projector, but the laptop couldn't connect. Then she immediately called Lorena.

"Lorena!" Professor Vega called.

"Yes, Professor," said Lorena.

"Why can't it connect?" Professor Vega complained while she showed her laptop, which won't connect.

"I don't know, Professor." Lorena shrugged her shoulders and lowered them again.

"How can you not know about that? It's your job as the person in charge of human anatomy and human physiology in this class. You must prepare my laptop before the class starts. Alberto always prepares my laptop and makes sure that my laptop is ready before I start teaching." Professor Vega immediately glared at Lorena and said those words loudly, which made the other students in that class stare at them because the students were curious to know.

Lorena was embarrassed. She could only lower her head. Afterwards, she apologized.

"Oh. Okay, Prof. I'm sorry. I don't know about that. I just know about that now." Lorena had only just learned about that at that time. She thought all this time that the task of being in charge of human anatomy and human physiology courses was only reminding Professor Vega about the teaching schedule for her class on that day.

"Why don't you know?" Professor Vega frowned as she looked confusedly at Lorena. She pretended to be confused. Indeed, Professor Vega knew that, but she never told Lorena before. So, it was not strange if Lorena didn't know that. Actually, for Professor Vega, it was natural that Lorena didn't know about it, but she was annoyed with Lorena's behavior.

Lorena could only be silent and stupefied. She couldn't answer or say anything else. What should she do? That was thought of by her at that time.

Request apologies? She has done that to Professor Vega, but he has not forgiven her and instead blames her so much. Indeed, Lorena didn't know before, and it was Lorena's fault.

"Hey! Answer my question, Lorena!" Professor Vega immediately hit the table hardly.

"I'm sorry, Professor! I don't know." Lorena answered weakly.

"Really? How can you not know about that? I was waiting for you in my room, and you only remembered me from today's class.What's it for? I remember my own teaching schedule. Why don't you prepare my laptop for my presentation today? Don't you like me for teaching your class? Don't you like human anatomy and human physiology? Don't you like to have a lesson from me today? Because of that, you pulled a trick to make me refuse to teach your class. Is it all your tricks, Lorena?" Professor Vega's anger made Lorena's heart beat faster; her face was pale, her eyes bulged, and she was frozen for a while.

Lorena really didn't expect that Professor Vega would scold her so fiercely at that time. As soon as she was conscious, she bit her lip. She was very afraid of Professor Vega. Her brain was thinking so hard about the words she should say. She felt that she could do nothing at that time. She could only apologize again.

In a hurry, before Professor Vega scolded her again, Lorena immediately apologized and explained her ignorance. "I'm sorry, Professor! I really don't know. That irritates it.I like human anatomy and human physiology. I like you for teaching me, but I don't know about that. I'm sorry, Professor!

"Please forgive me!" She apologized again.

"Well! Okay! Come on! Let's start this class!" Professor Vega immediately changed the topic. A few moments later, she looked at her brown-skin watch on her hand. Time showed that the class had run for five minutes.

Meanwhile, Lorena immediately grabbed a bottle of water and gulped it down. She tried to calm herself. After that, she inhaled and exhaled her breath. She was still very shocked by Professor Vega's anger that could explode so big like that just because of the projector problem, but she tried to be calm and remembered her mistake.

Lorena guessed that Professor Vega would not scold her again, but Lorena's guess was wrong. Professor Vega was still irritated."Ah! The time for me to teach your class is going to be five minutes. We lose our five minutes, Lorena, because of this problem. Next time, you must not be like that, Lorena! "Don't be like that again!"

"Okay, Professor." Lorena nodded her head quickly. Not long after, class started. Professor Vega explained about the peripheral nervous system.

At that time, Bonita immediately called out to Lorena quietly. "Lorena!"

"Yes, Bonita." Lorena immediately looked at Bonita. Bonita was sitting to the left of Lorena.

"Lorena, don't you think that Professor Vega definitely wants to make a problem with you? So, she does anything include this? I guess it's one of her plans." Bonita immediately started a conversation with Lorena.

"Hah?" Lorena immediately frowned because she was confused by Bonita's words.

"No," Lorena said quietly then.

"Oh! How come you're not feeling it or aware of it? It really looks like Professor Vega's behavior is like that! She is deliberately making trouble with you and making a big deal out of your problems to embarrass you in front of your classmates, Lorena."

Bonita immediately spoiled her anger, which had been suppressed since Lorena was scolded by Professor Vega.

Because, according to Bonita, Professor Vega was deliberately exaggerating the problem in order to embarrass Lorena.Bonita knew that Professor Vega never told Lorena about her duties for preparing the laptop and projector before because she asked Lorena about her duties as the person in charge of Human Anatomy and Human Physiology lessons. Lorena said that she must only remember Bonita about Vega's class.

"I'm sure she did that on purpose because she is really jealous of you. Because you're Alberto's girlfriend and she wants to be Alberto's partner. You know how ambitious she is, right?" Bonita was very sure that Professor Vega's behavior was because he wanted to make Lorena cry.

"Yes, I know that, but I don't think she's very bad, like what you say, Bonita. For me, it's my fault, Bonita." Lorena realized that it was her fault.

"Ah! You're too innocent as a person until you're not aware of that." Bonita was irritated by Lorena's actions, which she still blamed on herself.

"I don't know, Bonita! Obviously, I want to pay attention to Professor Vega's class first." Lorena immediately ended the conversation.

Just as Lorena looked at Professor Vega, Professor Vega immediately called Lorena's name. "Lorena!"

"Yes, Professor." Lorena immediately gasped and was surprised by Professor Vega's call. Her eyes immediately bulged.

"Okay! Lorena, please answer my question!" Lorena immediately looked at the screen and blackboard, but no question appeared on the screen or blackboard. Lorena wanted to ask about the question that Professor Vega was asking, but she was afraid that he would get angry with her. Because Professor Vega would know Lorena wasn't paying attention to her if she asked her to repeat the question.

Lorena was silent and stupefied. She didn't know how to respond or what to say. Of course, Lorena couldn't answer the question. She didn't know the question. Professor Vega immediately hit Lorena's desk hard and got mad. "Hey! Answer my question! Don't daydream!"

Lorena's brain immediately tried to find an excuse. A moment later, she chose to ask Professor Vega to repeat her question with the excuse of forgetting it. "I'm sorry, Professor! I forgot the question. Would you mind repeating your question, please?"

Professor Vega immediately laughed sarcastically and looked at Lorena cynically. After that, Professor Vega got even more angry with Lorena. She repeated Lorena's words. "Would you mind repeating your question, please? Hah? How can you ask me that stupid question?"

"You didn't notice me, did you?" Professor Vega asked cynically.

"I notice you and I pay attention, Professor! However, I forgot the question." Lorena answered weakly.

"Okay. I will use Alberto's name as an example, so you will notice me! Alberto was driving the car towards the house. On the way, Alberto saw the traffic light turn red. Immediately, Alberto stopped the car. What happened in Alberto's nervous system to cause that?" Professor Vega repeated the question she had mentioned earlier. It's just that the name of the character has changed. from the original "Hugo" to "Alberto."

"There's a system in his brain that makes Alberto do that." Lorena tried to answer as best as she could.

"Yes. How's the system? How is the process?" Professor Vega asked Lorena to explain the process in more detail.

"I don't know, Professor." Lorena shook her head quickly.

"Come on! I'm sure you already know this answer. Answer it, please! Do you know it, right?" Professor Vega did not think that Lorena, one of the smartest students in her class, did not know the answer to the question.

"I really don't know, Professor." Lorena answered weakly.

"Forgive me!" Lorena apologized afterwards.

"How can you say you don't know and you can't, Lorena? I've explained it here before, you know! Are you not concentrating on my class because of something else? Oh, I know. You've been talking ever since, right? What are you talking about? Talking about handsome, famous actors like that? Hence, listen to me and pay attention to me instead of talking a lot in my class! So you don't concentrate on my class, and you don't know what I'm teaching!" Professor Vega was angry.

"No, Prof. I pay attention and concentrate on your courses, really. I'm not lying at all." Lorena tried to argue.

"Then you should be able to answer my question. I've explained before. It's so easy, Lorena! If I'm not mistaken, I also gave this assignment last week." Professor Vega believed she had assigned the task last week.

"It can be that you don't do your homework either because you're busy dating. I've noticed that you can't answer my questions and you don't concentrate in my class lately." Professor Vega scolded Lorena while Lorena checked the notes and assignments in her book.

"I never do that, Prof. I always do my homework and my task, Prof. It's only that I forgot the task, Prof." Lorena tried to defend herself.

"Ah! You only have one reason to be with me.I'm still confused. How can you not know the answer to my question? Please, think again! What is the answer to my question that I have? How come you can't? If you answer, use your brain! Don't just answer "I don't know"! Babies can say that too.

Lorena immediately mentioned the answer she had written for last week's assignment.

"The answer is not that! That's enough! You must find the answer to this question again! Next week, you should already know this answer. Let it be your homework!" Professor Vega was annoyed because Lorena didn't know the answer.

"I have answered, but I don't know, Prof. Please inform me of the real answer, Prof! What is the real answer, Prof.? I only know that. I'm sorry, Prof!" Lorena apologized to Professor Vega.

"You are very rude to me. I asked you, and now you are asking me for an answer. How can? You are really rude. You weren't taught manners by your parents, or you don't know about them? "How did you dare to do something like that to me as your professor?" Professor Vega is furious.

"I'm sorry, Professor! I don't mean to be rude to you, Professor Vega." Lorena lowered her head.

"Shut up! You must find the answer to that question! You must collect it by next week to receive the answer to this question!" Professor Vega immediately asked Lorena to answer her question as her task.

"Okay, Professor." In Lorena's heart, Lorena really hates Professor Vega. For Lorena, Professor Vega is a figure who destroys happiness in her life. Professor Vega tries to seize Alberto and forces him to have sex with Alberto until Alberto has sex with her. Professor Vega has humiliated him.

She knew that, indeed, she was guilty of not paying attention to Professor Vega, but Professor Vega's words that hurt her heart made her hate Professor Vega even more. Supposedly, Professor Vega had told her gently instead of prolonging the matter. Maybe it's true what Bonita said-that Professor Vega made a mistake and cornered her.

Lorena didn't know what would happen after that. She could only imagine bad possibilities that would happen, such as: Professor Vega will take Alberto and make Alberto love Professor Vega, Professor Vega will marry Alberto, Professor Vega will pressure him even more; etc. Unconsciously, her tears flowed. She wiped her tears away quickly because she didn't want Professor Vega to see her crying and because she thought Professor Vega would be pleased that Lorena was crying.

Lorena's tears represent a defeat for her and a victory for Professor Vega.Because of that, Lorena didn't want Professor Vega to know. She tried to hold back her tears, but she couldn't because she felt so sad. Finally, she tried to hold back her tears for a moment before asking Professor Vega for permission to use the restroom.

After she arrived at the toilet, she hastily looked for an empty toilet and entered the toilet afterwards. In the bathroom, Lorena was crying loudly.

"Why must Professor Vega come into my life? Why must Professor Vega ruin my life? Why? Why must she stay alive in this world and meet me? Why?" Lorena asked herself silently as if she knew the answer.

"Why must she be a professor at my campus? Why must she teach my class and Alberto's class? Why must she love Alberto? Why must she still chase Alberto's love? Why must she be Alberto's ex who still loves him to this day? Why is it that she doesn't love someone else, and another girl outside will become a victim like me? Why must I?" Lorena asked herself again.

"It's my unlucky day. Why must I live today? I shouldn't have come to campus and attended her class today. Since morning, I've felt that I'm sick, but I forced myself to go to campus just to meet Alberto because I miss him so much. But, instead of appreciating what I'd done and our quality time together, I discovered Alberto was having an affair with Professor Vega." Lorena said this to herself as she cried.

Meanwhile, in the classroom, Professor Vega was holding back her smile. She is happy because she is successful at making Lorena cry. She saw Lorena cry for a brief moment.She knew that Lorena was trying to hide her sadness and crying in class from her.

Because of that, Professor Vega allowed her to go to the bathroom. She chose to pretend that she didn't know about that in front of Lorena. Not long after, Professor Vega taught her class until the end of the material. She immediately ended the class with a greeting. After that, she took her things off the table. Then, she walked into her room while she was carrying the things.
