Nathan came across Erin in her room, who was feeling queasy, and he was so concerned about her that he removed his sweater and approached Erin in the bathroom while massaging her back. "Please, go away..." Erin pleaded, her voice trembling.
"You should go to the doctor."
"No..."
"What's to stop you? You appear ill, pale, and tired..."
"I'm taking you to the doctor right now... I don't want to see you in this condition."
Nathan was about to lift Erin if she hadn't gone away, so he cursed quietly.
She walked into her room, leaving Nathan in the bathroom, and Nathan instantly followed her.
"Let's go, Erin..."
"Nathan, I don't know...I feel tired, maybe because I only need some rest or beauty sleep, I don't need a doctor, this is just a normal feeling of a normal person, right?" Erin said as she took the towel to wipe her face and turned her gaze at him, she wanted to hug Nathan and tell him everything was fine, but she couldn't because she was disgusted and her blood was still boiling every time she saw him. She has no idea why, although it could be due to her hormones. She stopped when she discovered that her period had been delayed for two weeks.
"Oh my god!"
She was horrified when she realized that the symptoms she was experiencing right now might be something else that needed a scientific explanation, so she instantly opened her phone and searched for the calendar, which she guessed correctly delayed her menstruation for two months.
"Hey, what's going on?" Nathan inquired in a befuddled tone, then followed her steps as she walked right and left, then back again, as if anxious and terrified.
"What are you doing, Erin?"
Nathan pulls her aside and says, "Stop walking back and forth. Lady, what are you doing? Please calm down!"
"Don't tell me to calm down! I am worried, I have these symptoms...I don't know what to do and I don't want to think about it. Maybe it's not just fine for me, do I look okay?"
"Sure hun, you don't look okay!" Nathan replied and glared at her.
"Let's go to the doctor now! I wanted to see if you are okay or if you have some diseases that need to be cured as soon as possible…" Nathan grabbed her arm and stared at her face and his palms touched her face, caressing it gently. She feels some butterflies in her stomach, the way Nathan holds and caresses her, and the way he stares that can bring her soul alive.
"Please, Erin, we need to visit a doctor...I'm so worried about you...you've been like this all day and you're so pale...I just want you to be okay alright?" Nathan said softly, caressing her petite figure and soothing her down.
"I'm not interested! Why are you so obnoxious, Nathan? I'm OK. God, damn it! I appreciate your sympathy but I don't want to see your face. I'm sorry, I have this feeling that I feel so annoyed when I get to see you, you are making me feel so mad about you!" Erin said and lay in her bed, taking the blanket to cover her face.
"If you're fine, then tell me why you've had nausea, vomiting, and aren't feeling well all day and you're always upset with me! I don't understand you!" Nathan said this while putting his hands on his hips and glaring at her.
"Do you want me to explain to you what I'm feeling right now? Please, I'm exhausted; give me time to relax and I'll get back to you when I'm feeling better. Don't bother talking to me anymore." she replied.
Nathan's pursed lips clearly conveyed his annoyance at this point, despite the fact that Erin's explanation meant that Nathan didn't have the opportunity to do anything right away.
Nathan tried to talk to her and persuade her to see a doctor about her condition right now, but she only sneered at him every time he tried to say something. Nathan believes she is not feeling good today and is in a bad mood.
When he discovered Erin was asleep, he let out a big sigh and exited her room. What might have happened to Erin? As he walked to his car to return to the mansion, he pondered the question. He couldn't persuade Erin to return to his house, and that was his problem.
Before leaving, he met Erin's mother, who greeted him with a smile. "Oh, you're leaving?"
Before responding to Romelia, he ran his fingers over his hair and his face was frowning, thinking about Erin's behavior towards him.
"I can't persuade your daughter to go to the doctor, Mrs. Henderson, and she's not even listening to me."
"Oh, don't worry about it, son... she's a little stubborn, but I'll try to persuade her, okay?"
"Thank you, I gotta go…good night, Mrs. Henderson."
