Desiree's POV
My head hurts as I wake up, and when I see my phone ringing, I realize it's my alarm clock, and my eyes widen as I realize I set the alarm for 1 p.m., and now I'm late for work and don't have time to go there.
My body is so heavy that I have to go to the restroom and clean myself since I can't think straight right now.
I sighed when I heard the doorbell ring, and I wondered who this man was. I'm not delighted to learn that someone is bothering me every morning. "Oh, and it's already 1 p.m., so it's afternoon!" I exhaled because I am absent again from work today, people will think that I am not really working.
"WHAT THE-" I said and paused when I saw Alexander, he frowned as he looked at me, "what do you want?" I said.
"What's the matter with you? Do you have any idea how much time I waited for you?"
"There?" I said and pulled him inside the house, I remember now he is talking about work.
I scratched the back of my neck and saw how irritated he was, "I'm sorry, I woke up late."
"Really?" he scoffed and pursed his lips.
"Yeah, I set my alarm at 1 pm accidentally." I explained to him.
"Seriously?"
"Do you think I'm joking?" I said while walking to the kitchen and opened the cabinet to look for the milk and I grabbed a glass to pour the milk into it.
"No you are not really joking, I believe you and because of that, I need to tell you something." he spoke up, I drank the milk directly and looked at him, "What do you want to tell me?"
"Tonight there will be a ball, it's a celebration for the company's anniversary."
"Ball?"
"Yeah you know dancing and partying? It's a ball."
"Ah…" I while biting my lips.
"Come here…" he said and while he waved to me, "I said come here, closer…" I step forward, "Closer…"
"I am really close to you, what do you want?"
I was shocked when he grabbed my waist and gave me a kiss, a kiss that is so sweet and tongue kissing.
I pulled away, "Why are you kissing me?"
"Because I want to." he said and grabbed me again for another kiss, he caressed my body while kissing my lips, I pulled away from him because he is starting to kiss me harshly.
"I'm sorry…" he said and I nodded my head, "It's okay, I dont have the right to complain because you are paying me."
"It's not like that, yes…you have the right to complain, geez! Forget it," He said when he realized that I was looking at him with pitiful eyes.
"Tomorrow is the ball, you need to be there because you are my date." he said before he stepped out the door, He left me without saying goodbye. He is a weirdo.
I stepped forward and laughed at myself because he is weird.
Then I just heard that there some people coming to my house, two gays and one hair stylist.
"Oh, Mister Alexander Roberts gave this address because you are going to the ball tonight."
"Oh, yeah, the ball." I said while I understand now the meaning of the ball, I thought he was just joking but he is telling the truth,
"I will just take a shower…just wait for me here and just feel at home guys." I said and ran upstairs to get ready for tonight, so he hired these professional people to do my makeup, my hair and my gown. This is really interesting, I am so nervous about this.
I call my mom and tell her that I have a ball to attend tonight, "Hello, mom. I can't be with you tonight. I have a ball to attend." I said.
"Wow that's great, do you already have a gown?" She asked me and I could hear that she was happy to know.
"No, I mean maybe I have." I said, "Okay but if you dont have any, just look at my closet i think i have a bunch there for you to wear." she said, i bit my lower lip, "Okay mom, thank you." I smiled and ended the call. I go to the shower and taking off all my clothes and on the shower, I take the bubble gel and put it all over my body and put some conditionaire to my hair and after twenty minutes I am already done, I change in to a normal clothes and went outside where I saw the three gays and one woman who is a hairtsylist.
"Hi, we forgot to introduce ourselves to you, I'm Rosalie, and these three lay men right here are Zac, Izzaya, and Lury. they will be the ones who will do your makeup." she said and they started to take out all their things and put on the table, "Thank you for being here, I'm Desiree." I said and the gay named Lury grabbed a chair for me, "Seat here, pretty woman." he said, I saw the silver red gown in front of me and its really so beautiful and stunning.
"Wow, that's a really pretty gown." I said and my eyes sparkled when they smiled at me, "Yes This will be your gown tonight, I am sure you will look so stunning."
"Wow, really?" I said and the woman named Rosalie brush my hair and the other gay started to do my make up, "Of course, look at you, you look so pretty anf when you wear this tonight everyone will look at you…"
I laugh at his statement, "yes believe us, because we will make you the most beautiful tonight."
They are so funny, I laugh again.
When Johanna arrived, she had a small box in her hand.
"Johanna?"
"Yes, I am invited to the ball also." she said happily and jumped.
I smile because I will have a friend tonight.
