Desiree's POV
Alexander left me naked and exhausted in his room. I can't move both legs and my body is shivering from him claiming me so many times; I thought that was the end, but there's more to come. I groaned and sobbed because Enrique will be waiting for me tonight, and he is a pity guy because I had just informed him that I would be unable to go on a date with him.
I close my eyes and fall asleep quickly.
Something hot and wet cloth was rubbing on my temple and forehead as I awoke, and I saw Alexander doing it. My body appears to be devoid of any energy.
"You've got a fever." He said it quietly, and I stared at his face, lacking any expression.
"Oh…" I said and I'm about to get up then I noticed that I already have a pajama.
"You need to be fine." He said.
"I am fine, I need to go to the hospital now." I said and he touched my hand and grip my wrist.
"You can't because you are not fine," he said boldly. "You are not going on a date with him." He added without looking into my eyes.
"What? What makes you think I'm going to have a date with him now that I'm in this condition? I've already canceled the date. My current concern is for my parents."
"As long as you're not fine, you're not going anywhere," He said, he walked away, leaving me in his chamber. He locked it so I couldn't get out. What was he thinking when he did this to me?
I groaned and went back to sleep; however, because my head was spinning, I drank a glass of water and took the medicine; maybe, in a few hours, I would be better.
When I awoke, I felt someone embracing me, and my pillow turned into the arm of someone. When I tried to open my eyes, I saw Alexander sleeping beside me, snuggled up to me.
I tried not to move so as not to wake him up, but as soon as my bare feet reached the floor, Alexander grabbed my wrist, and my eyes widened as I saw him wide awake.
"And where are you going?" His tone is cool, yet he is tired.
"I'm going to the bathroom and after this, I will go to my house." I said and I tried to loosen his grip and he immediately stood up and he checked my temperature using the back of his hand. "Are you sure you are okay?"
"I am fine. I need to go now…" I said and he let go of my hand.
"Then fine, I will see you tomorrow then, My driver is going to drive you home." He said and just sighed, I looked at my wrist watch and checked the time it was already 1 am. Damn, do I have to go home at this hour? I exhaled and said,"Can I stay here until morning?"
Alexander just stared at me for a second, he nodded at me.
"Well, thanks."
He frowned and asked me, "Why did you change your mind?"
"Because it's already too late to go home, some neighbors will know about it and my mom will know. It's better they don't know about what happened to my life." I replied and headed to the bathroom.
after a half-bath and I discover that he is already sleeping. After our crazy sex, we've been sleeping a lot.
I sneak into the kitchen to see what I'm going to eat because I'm starving.
I saw an ice cream and ate it with my eyes closed. Feeling how good the ice cream melts to my mouth and its savor.
"Hmm." I mumbled to myself.
After that, I head to the long couch to sleep. I don't want to lie in the same bed with him anymore because I'm afraid he'll touch me and f*ck me till I'm completely exhausted. It feels great, but I need to blow off some steam.
I chuckle gently as I bite my bottom lip because Alexander can't get enough of me.
Tomorrow will be another day.
When I woke up, I was in a different place now, it's not the long couch but it's a comfortable bed . Did he take me last night?
It's impossible.
I was about to yawn when I was startled to see him sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at me intently.
"I will be going now, I will see you at my office. You need to work, Desiree." He said and left me without looking back.
"Oh okay…"
I exhaled.
Yes, I need to work to have a full salary. I forgot that he offered me a job in his company.
He was dressed in a suit, and he appeared to be quite neat and attractive. I take a deep breath and smile because today is going to be a great day. After getting dressed, I ask the driver to bring me home because I need to change into my workplace attire first before heading to the said company.
When I arrived at my house, I saw Enrique.
He looks stressed and his hair is messy.
"Enrique…" I said with a smiling face.
"I've been waiting for you last night but you did not come." He said.
"I sent you a message that the date was canceled." I told him that, because that is what I am thinking now, he just shook his head in disagreement, I checked my phone and I realized I forgot to send the text message to him.
"Oh, I am sorry…maybe I replied to you mentally." I said with an apologetic face. I give him a half smile because I feel guilty for giving him some false hope.
"It's okay…maybe you are just busy."
"Can we just talk next time? I need to go now. I'm getting late to work." I said and ran inside to my house and changed into an office outfit. I saw him still standing outside of my house when I went outside, "Uhmm…" I am about to tell him something that I will go now but he ask me a question.
"Where did you sleep last night?"
