Desiree's Pov
Since Enrique asked where I slept last night, I've been relieved that I was in a rush and couldn't answer his questions because if I did, he could become concerned and inform my mother that I didn't sleep at home.
I groan and begin methodically encoding these paper documents.
"Desiree, can you buy us a coffee? The meeting is about to begin in 10 minutes and we need someone to buy us some coffee and snacks outside," Raphael's demanding secretary has asked me to go outside and buy some food. I've been working all day and now need to run outside; all I have to do is stretch my arms and say yes to her. I don't have any other option except to follow her.
I'm new to this organization, and every single one of them treats me as if I'm a slave.
"All right, how many cups of coffee do I need to buy?" I ask as I look around and see that there's a lot of people I need to buy for only just a coffee. Damn.
"I think eight coffees," she answered with a phony smile as she chewed her bottom lip.
"All right, I'm going to buy right now, how about the money?"
"Yeah," she answered as she handed me her credit card before I went for a walk.
When I came out of the building, I saw Alexander just getting out of his car, so I just kept walking. When he noticed me, he straightened his stance and gazed at me as I moved around the corner.
I close my eyes and open them again because Alexander looks like a goddess today; he smells nice, and his suit looks great on him; his sunglasses add to his overall appeal.
"Eight coffees please, same order as before." I told the waiter because he already knew me because every single day I came here just to order coffee from him. He smiled at me, "So you are the new girl in that building?" he said.
I chuckle softly, "Uhm yes." I responded to him.
"Well, you can sit while waiting for your order, by the way I am Christian, and you?" He said as he introduced himself to me.
I moved to the chair and sat there, "I'm Desiree." I said.
"Yeah, nice name." He said and he wink at me, he went to prepare for my orders now.
"So here's your order, can I have your number?" he said and I shook my head, "No sorry." I said.
"So you are taken?"
"I think yes…" I replied to him and after I paid the order.
"Oh you broke my heart, then we can be friends then…" He said and gave me a warm smile. He seems harmless, maybe I should give him a chance to be my friend. I nod my head, "Yeah I think friendship is better with us. I should go now, bye."
"Okay, see you tomorrow then." He said and waved his hand at me happily.
I sighed, because there are too many cute men in this area but only that can take my interest. It's always Alexander, I don't know why but Alexander is different from everyone even if he is not talking to me, only his presence can make my day.
I am walking now inside the building carrying the eight cups in my hand and the other plastic of coffees. Gosh, are they thinking I am an octopus that has eighth hands? I am smiling but deep inside I dont want to be like a slave to them.
"Desiree…dear, thank you for being such a good co-worker." Cheska said and distributed the coffee to our officemate, "Anyway, Mister Alexander is waiting for you inside of his office, sorry but I think he is in a bad mood so you better behave better," She said and gave me some tips on how to behave.
I simply nodded and proceeded to the elevator, where I pressed the floor button to go to the office of Alexander.
When I arrived there, I knocked on his door and he immediately opened the door, pulled me inside and kissed me roughly. I was shocked at why he did that but he just kissed me, his tongue was sliding into my mouth and he bit my lower lip gently to make me push him.
"W-what are you doing?" I said.
"I can kiss you whatever I want," He said and his breathing was heavy, he looked at my face and he held my hand. "Sit."
"What do you want from me, sir?" I said to be formal and I crossed my legs as soon as I seated.
"Just call me by my first name when we are alone." He said calmly.
"So how are you today?" He asked me then he sat next to me, I could smell his perfume and it engulfed my nose.
"I am fine, it's just a busy and normal day." I respond to him with a calm voice.
"That's great, next time…I want you to be more…" He paused for a moment and he looked at my dress.
"More conservative in your outfit. I'm going to sent you some dresses and outfit that you can wear everyday,"
My eyes widen as to why he needs to do that, I am not even sure if I am going to agree with him and still I dont have a choice to make.
"Okay…" I said with a mixed irritated voice.
"Are you mad with me?"
"No, I am not." I denied and I stood up but he grabbed my hand and now I am sitting on his lap. I am breathing just fine but my heartbeat is racing a lot.
"I am doing this for you because a lot of guy is looking at your nice ass everyday, then I am going to tell you may be conservatice dress is suit for you." He said.
He's gone mad now, I just nod my head slowly just to finish this day.
