It's already ten pm in the night and I'm looking through a photo book of my family and setting it on the table. Patricia emerged from her room, her face caked in makeup, and I noticed she was dressed in porn star attire, which made me grimace. I assumed she was going to the party again, this time using my father's money. I grumbled under my breath and rolled my eyes at this strange woman"Pe
"Excuse me. Did you just cast a sidelong glance at me?"
"I'm not," I stated, shrugging my shoulders. "You're staring at those awful photographs again!" she pulled the photo from my grip, and I gave her a stern look and sighed as I examined the photographs of myself with her.
"Ugh! I look so ugly in this photo. I'm going to throw it." she said but I stopped her and blocked her way, "Are you crazy? This picture is mine. So don't throw this."
She sighed, "So do you mean by keeping these picture of mine-"
"It's you and I." I said.
She grumbled and blew her cheeks, "Okay fine, keep that as long as you want but I don't want you to show it to other people!" she walked away while swaying her hips, I just rolled my eyes.
Then I smile when I see the picture again. It's kind of a flashback to when we were kids and she used to be my big sister but now she is a bully and a crazy woman. I remember at my prom she just showed up to humiliate me in front of everyone. Damn, that was so embarrassing.
She got mad with me before because her boyfriend liked me.
Silly woman.
I sighed and stared out my window, remembering Enrique, who was such a laid-back and amusing guy.
I sighed and smiled, I put those pictures inside the photo album, I looked around and saw that there's a lot of people outside of my house and I got out, "Hey, what's happening here?"
"Party?"
"Huh? Party?" I ask them.
Then some people arrived with a case of beer and drinks in their hands and a group of people came inside, there's a Dj also.
"What? What is happening?" I ask them.
"Party! Party!" the black woman said happily and I smiled at her, I looked around to search for my f+cking and crazy sister, "Patricia!!!" I am shouting for her name and everyone is looking at me but they continue to dance again like nothing happened.
I took a deep breath, then I saw her happily serving drinks to that guy. I pulled her to the side of the door, "what are you doing?" I ask her.
"Partying?" Then she looked at my pajama outfit.
"Go change your outfit, you look like an outsider." She laughed at me.
I pushed her inside, then I bit my lower lip when everyone was having a good time on our couch, "What do you think you're doing? You don't have a right to decide to throw a party here!" I scolded her and she pulled away with my grip and pushed me away, "Seriously, Desiree?" she scoffed. "I already told dad, I'm going to set a party tonight and you are not invited!"
"You know thatI have to work tomorrow and I need to sleep early? This is not your house!"
"And it's not yours either!"
"Tell them to get out and end the party!" I shout at her,
She folded her arms in front of me bravely, "I will not! So you better get out or I will humiliate you in front of everyone!"
I pushed her and shoved her into the ground but she fought back and I hit my back on the hard thing behind me, "Damn it!"
"I am having fun, Desiree! Don't ruin this night for me!" She yelled at me, because we can't hear each other's rants and complaints because of the loud music and loud people, I went outside and called Alexander that I'm going to sleep in his house tonight.
"Hi…" I said nervously,
"Desiree, it's 11 pm, why did you call?" He said and groaned.
"I'm not disturbing you?" I ask him in a low voice,
"Yes, I mean no…"
I sighed in relief because he just mumbled like he was dreaming, "Alexander? Are you awake or not?"
"Yeah…I think yes, so where are you? I'm going to take you now." he said and I laughed.
"My house."
"Your house? I thought you were outside partying?"
"No, it's my sister Idea to throw a party in this place…are you coming to get me or not? I badly need to sleep right now but it's so f*cking loud inside and I can't concentrate." I said while biting my nails, "Alright, I'm coming, sweetheart. I'm going to save you."
I chuckled sarcastically and at the end of the phone call, I saw Carl coming to me, "What are you doing here carl? The party is inside." I said.
"Sorry I forgot, so how are you?" He nervously laughed and he scratched the back of his neck while staring at me and he stepped forward to have a clear look on my face.
"Don't come near me…" I said.
"Why?" he said.
"Because I don't want you to come near me! Are you crazy?" I mocked him and his face looked not even happy when he heard that, "I'm sorry but please stay away from me carl…" I pushed him.
My sister opened the gate and she stared at Carl who was staring at me, "So you are here to flirt with this guy?" she asked me with a malicious tone in her voice.
"I don't have time to talk to you, take this guy away from me! I dont know why you are inviting this guy!" I pointed the drunk carl and my sister rolled her eyes at me,
We then heard a screeching break, and Alexander emerged from his car, saying, "Get in, princess."
Oh yeah, that's my boy.
