Desiree's POV
He escorted me out of the mansion, away from the judgmental onlookers, and he appeared concerned for my well-being and irritated by the outcome of the situation.
He sighed as he look at me, I am really embarrassed inside, that Samantha cause a humiliating scene about me, which is not true.
Telling the people that I am such a whore and a relationship wrecker.
"Come here…" he said and I lifted my head on him, I sighed as I step forward, "Don't say anything…stupid." he added.
I rolled my eyes, "What are you talking about? Your ex-girlfriend just humiliate me in front od everybody!" I said as I exhaled with what I feel.
I pity myself while I think about what happened today.
"Closer…" he said.
I step closer, "What do you want?"
My jaw dropped when he grabbed my arm and hugged me so tightly. "I am sorry for what happened today, okay? It's my fault because I take you here even if you dont want to go with, if I listen to you, and if I listen to you, nothing like this should happen to you," he apologized to me, its my frist time to hear him saying like this to me, its like he felt so bad about what happened today and he value of what I feel today, he cares for me.
"I'ts okay, we don't know that your psychotic girlfriend will ruined the day, but you know what? She save us from telling lies to your parents, you don't have the chance to tell them about me, its like you are safe now, they will only think that i am such a very bad girl." I chuckles while thinking about his mom's sour and bitter face.
I pulled away from his embrace while still smiling and he grabbed me again for a sinful kiss.
He cupped my face so gently and pulled me closer to him while he is closing his eyes, and after that i close my eyes too because I like the way he is kissing me, his lips is like an angel, so soft and feels so heavenly.
I held my breath when he stop kissing me and says, "I have to get you home now, I am really sorry for today, do you forgive me now?"
"I think I don't have a choice but to forgive you, right?"
"Oh come on, you will always have a choice…"
I smile at him, "Alright. I accept your apologies, but if I see your ex-girlfriend again and she will tried to harass me, forgive me, I am going to hit her face." I chuckles when I said that but its true, I am not kidding. His ex-girlfriend is already crossing the line. Always making me feel like I am the bad woman, I will not just stay silent at the corner next time.
"You have my blessings, you have all the right to defend yourself." he said.
I smile at him and says, "So you need to take me home now…"
Monday, 10 am. At the Office.
I saw my boss just arrived at his office and I just open his door to submit some new files and he stared at me when I am busy piling those files.
"Hi, sir. You feeling good now?" I ask him with a smile on my face. I tend to put red lipstick today because my nude lisptick is already finished and I think in red lipstick I look like a seductive woman. That's why I hate the color red, but I don't have a choice to put it on my lips because I can't go to the office with a pale lips.
"Yes, Desiree. I am fine, you okay?"
"I am fine sir, thanks for asking." I said awkwardly.
"You look so beautiful today, red lipstick suit you." he said and I feel like I am about to jump in happiness, wow this guy just compliment me and he makes me feel so happy.
"Really?!" i tucked my hair behind my earlobe and bit my lower lip.
He walked towards me, "Yeah…you look great."
"I am happy with that sir…thank you for saying that, you make my day." I said and nod my head.
"Are you available this afternoon, you don't have a boyfriend right? So can I invite you for a lunch date?" he ask.
"Huh?" I am confused of what he said and tapped my hand on the table while looking at him, I fixed my eye glasses and said, "Yes, i'm single."
"Then that's great, Alexander won't get mad when I invited you for a lunch, you are free to choose and you have the freedom, Desiree." He said, he scratch his neck while waiting for my response, because I just stare the blank wall in a a few seconds now. I am thinking about what he said, that I am single and I don't have to let Alexander dominate me because we don't have any relationship, it was only a lust relationship and nothing else.
"Uh, sorry, yes…I agree with you…"
"Then, I will just call now the restaurant for a reservation."
I scratch my head and says, "That's great then…"
I am sure, Alexander would freak out when he know about this, but I don't care, I am mad with him too for treating me like this. If he dont want to confessed his true feelings to me, I will continue to date my boss.
George give me a smile and a hug, "The reservation is ready, I hope you won't change your mind."
"Don't worry, i wont. Why would I change my mind? That's really embarrassing, I already said yes…" I chuckles and give him athumbs up, "I have to goi now to my office, just call me if you need anything, sir."
"Yeah, I will see you in lunch break and I think I will give you a day off today, since is our first date."
"First date?"
"Yeah…"
