Chapter 182 Shush! Cut This Off

Chapter 182 Shush! Cut This Off
Ebony had jumped off.
The captain started forcing the others to jump.
Alfredo was the second to jump!
He didn't want to, but he had been strapped on the parachute against his will. If he refused to jump, they threatened to throw him out!
The rims of Alfredo's eyes reddened.
Were these people really soldiers?
They looked like bandits to him!
The four male guests were men after all. They were scolded, provoked, coerced, and coaxed.
It was a different story with the three female guests.
They wouldn't jump, and the soldiers couldn't tie the parachutes to them by force. That would be called molestation.
At the critical moment, the program team stepped in.
Those female staff members grabbed Abigail first.
Abigail struggled and refused to get strapped on whatsoever!
The chief director retorted to the tactics of provocation. "No wonder you're no match for Ebony."
Abigail glared at the chief director and raised the roof. "Says who?"
The chief director said coolly, "She was the first one to jump. She is courageous, strong, capable, generous, calm, and pretty. As for you three, even if you're combined, you can't hold a kindle to her!"
"That's nonsense!"
"Totally!"
Miranda and Sarina also stood up in anger.
The three women were driven desperate and went all out!
Abigail shouted, "I'll jump."
In fact, after the six people landed safely on the ground, Abigail was no longer that scared.
She just couldn't overcome the mental hurdle.
But now, she let anger get the best of her and disregarded everything!
After the equipment was strapped in, Abigail was the first to jump.
She stood at the hatch door and grabbed the safety handle. Her legs started shaking, and she regretted it.
She didn't have the gut to do it.
From the sidelines, Miranda and Sarina encouraged her.
Abigail had an adrenaline rush, gritted her teeth, and closed her eyes. Amid a scream, she jumped off.
After Abigail successfully released her parachute in the air, the captain unhurriedly looked at Miranda and Sarina, saying, "Next one."
At the same time, Ebony was lying under a sturdy tree and eating the fruit she had picked up from the tree.
She had scanned the area in the air just now.
The surroundings were not completely wild. There were residents at the foot of the mountain and fruit trees on the mountain.
Unlike those in the garden, the trees here were wild, and the oranges on them were ugly and small.
The taste was neither sour nor sweet. They were juicy though.
While eating the oranges, Ebony reflected on the journey.
Since she landed, she hadn't seen a soul.
There were no signs of Lloyd or pursuers.
Ebony remembered the captain's evasive attitude and reluctance to tell her whether Lloyd was down here.
Could it be that the captain was unwilling to reveal that Lloyd was the head of the pursuers?
The more she thought about it, the more she was convinced of the possibility.
Ebony turned her head, picked another fruit, and peeled off the thick skin. She ate while pondering.
Just then, there came a scream from the sky.
Ebony froze, raised her head, and saw Sarina.
Above Sarina, the parachute was open. As she was slowly descending, she squealed like a pig even though she was not in danger.
Ebony frowned. She had been staying here for a long time, and the first person she saw was Sarina?
Ebony leaned back against the trunk and ignored the woman.
Sarina came down but got stuck in the tree.
When Ebony landed earlier, she adjusted the rope and came down to an opening.
Sarina didn't know how to adjust the rope and had to drift in the wind.
She came down from a place thick with branches, and the parachute got caught. As a result, she was hanging in mid-air.
"Ahhh... Help! Is anybody here? Help! Ahhh..."

Ebony was annoyed by the noises created by Sarina.
She jumped off the tree, carried the rifle on her shoulder, and unhurriedly went around several trees till she stopped in front of Sarina.
Sarina was surprised to see Ebony and shouted regardless of their antagonism, "What are you waiting for? Come and get me down!"
Ebony planned to save Sarina, but the latter's words made her laugh coldly. She looked up and asked, "Did you save the world in your last life?"
Sarina was stunned. She didn't understand what Ebony meant.
Ebony added, "And you believe that everyone is indebted to you."
With that, she turned to leave.
Sarina hurriedly shouted, "Don't go, I am sorry. Ebony, could you help me get off? I'm really scared!"
Instead of halting her steps, Ebony went out of sight in the blink of an eye.
In her desperation, Sarina cried out, "I helped you write a statement of apology the other day, remember?"
"Shush!" Ebony freaked out and hurried back.
She furtively looked around and saw the drone in the air. Waving her fist, she threatened, "Cut this off from the footage and do not tell anyone. Do you hear me?"
The soldier who controlled the drone was stunned.
The chief director, who was watching the surveillance, was speechless.
The comments flooded the screen.
"..."
"Dumbass, everyone knows!"
"Sure enough, Ebony is unaware of the live streaming. Tsk-tsk."
"Wow, bad girl, you had another person do your homework! I'm going to tell the teacher!"
"Can anybody tell me if this kind of trickery violates the rules? Will she be punished and asked to rewrite it?"
"Oh? A punishment? Interesting."
Afraid that Sarina would gabble on, Ebony had to get her down.
Sarina landed safely on the ground and no longer cried so loudly.
Reluctant to talk to Sarina, Ebony turned to leave.
Sarina had nowhere to go and tottered to follow behind Ebony.
Ebony walked for a moment, turned back, and warned Sarina, "Stop following me!"
Sarina didn't want to beg Ebony, but there was no way she could survive this alone. Therefore, she said in a pitiful voice, "I'll leave when I find Abi and Mira. Is that okay?"
At the sight of her weak look, Ebony furrowed her brows.
After a while, Ebony rubbed her chin, came over, and went around Sarina while sizing her up.
Sarina cringed and stammered, "What... What's wrong?"
Ebony flashed a smile and sincerely, "Actually, I'm not a ruthless person. We're colleagues anyway, and I will not leave you behind in the woods. I will not do such a thing."
Sarina was surprised. "You... You're willing to take me with you?"
Ebony replied, "Of course. No worries. I'm taking you to a safe place, alright?"
15 minutes later, Sarina's hands and feet had been bound. Sitting at a conspicuous opening on the peak of the mountain, she was in confusion.
She looked back at Ebony.
Hiding in a tree, Ebony was looking around from the front sight of the rifle.
Sarina said, "I..."
Ebony hushed her in a deep voice, "Shush, someone is coming!"
Sarina looked ahead with a start.
From a distance, there came two soldiers.
The soldiers' uniforms were different from theirs. Apparently, the two were pursuers!
Sarina was scared out of her wits. She knew that her points would be deducted if she got caught. In her desperation, she intended to get up and run.
Unfortunately, her feet had been bound, and she was unable to move.
Sarina cried in fear.
The two pursuers heard the cries and rushed over. One of them shouted, "There is one here. Let's get her first!"
Sarina paled with fright.
As soon as the two pursuers got close, however, someone fired twice. Red smoke then rose from their heads.
They were 'dead'.
The two pursuers froze.
And so did Sarina.
Ebony jumped off the tree and dragged the two 'bodies' into the bush.
When she came back, she barked at Sarina, "Your cries only attracted two people here! Don't slack off! Cry louder!"
