Chapter 230 She Would Help Lloyd to Win This Battle!


Ebony's eyes suddenly widened.


Her black eyes were like laser light cast onto the back of the woman in front of her.


Smith?


Wasn't Lloyd's ex-fiancee's surname Smith?


But on second thought, she thought it couldn't be.


How could Lloyd's fiancée have any connection to Justin? And how could she possibly be in Justin's ward?


The woman in the front didn't seem to sense that somebody was looking at her.


The three of them walked through the small hall outside and entered the large room in the innermost part of the high-class ward.


As soon as Ebony entered, she saw Justin on the hospital bed, eating the pear. And on the chair next to him, Moses was there, holding a fruit knife and slicing pears for Justin!


Ebony was dumbfounded.


Moses was there too. So, this Sharon Smith might really be...


Seeing that Ebony and Llyod emerged, Moses froze for a moment.


He hurriedly put down the fruit and knife and got up to greet them, "Miss Gibson, Mr. Vasquez, what brings you here?"


Justin also froze. He knew Ebony would come. After all, Ebony had called him in the morning.


But he didn't expect Lloyd to come too.


Justin moved and tried to sit up a little more at once.


Seeing this, Moses Gibson held him up and said, "Don't move around. Don't let your wound crack."


Justin then had to stop.


Sharon came over with two chairs and said to Lloyd and Ebony, "Have a seat."


Ebony looked at this Miss Smith. She felt like a cat was scratching in her heart. And finally, she said sullenly, "Thank you."


Miss Smith was very friendly. She smiled and said to her, "You're welcome."


Ebony felt that the cat in her heart was scratching even harder! It almost tore her organs apart!


She was shouting silently, 'Ahhhhhh! It's so annoying! Is she Lloyd's ex-fiancée or not?'

"Miss Gibson, Miss Gibson?"


"Huh?" Ebony snapped back to her senses and realized Justin was talking to her. And she asked in a hurry, "Excuse me?"


Justin said, "I mean, thank you for the fruit."


Ebony waved her hand, "It's okay. It's nothing."


After that, she glanced at Miss Smith out of the corner of her eye.


Seeing that Miss Smith looked at her, Ebony immediately averted her eyes sheepishly!


Then she coughed, looked around, and asked Moses casually, "By the way, why are you here?"


Moses Gibson sighed and said, "Actually, I was also in the car the day Mr. Graham had the accident. Mr. Graham was injured because of me..."


"Huh?" Ebony froze.


However, Justin said to Moses, "I said it's not because of you. Stop thinking like that all the time."


Ebony didn't know what was going on. So, she asked, "Didn't you say it was because of some crazy fans?"


Moses nodded and told her what happened that day.


It was Ebony's birthday. He originally wanted to ask Ebony out but failed.  Then, for no reason, he went out with Justin for a day.


When he came back at night, Justin met some crazy fans who were following his car.


Justin's driver found out and said he wanted to get rid of those crazy fans. But those crazy fans kept chasing them, even overtaking them, and forcing their way into the lane from the opposite lane.


The driver was shocked and swerved to avoid them. But those crazy fans actually poked their heads out and took pictures of Justin with their cameras.


The flashing lights were so bright that the driver could not see anything. And then, the car skidded and hit the guardrail.


At that critical moment, Moses clearly remembered that Justin blocked something for him. So, he was not hurt. But Justin suffered multiple bone fractures.


This incident made Moses feel very sorry. So, he had been taking care of Justin in the hospital for the past few days.


Justin then said, "It's really not your fault."


Moses didn't make a sound and just kept his head down.


Ebony understood what was going on, and she asked, "But you weren't mentioned in the news."


Moses replied, "Yes, the news was aired at noon on the tenth. But the accident happened at night on the ninth. We contacted our respective companies and agents first. And the PR departments of the two companies agreed after the discussion that I should be erased from the news. Because I was not hurt. We don't want others to make trouble out of it."


Ebony understood. She nodded and was about to take the opportunity to ask who this Miss Smith was.


At that moment, Sharon walked to Moses' back and stroked his hair, saying, "After the accident, I basically took care of it for Moses. There was no other way. Why did he go outside to wait for her?


Ebony felt odd. And then suddenly, a thought rushed into her mind.


'Lloyd doesn't want to stay in the ward because of Miss Smith.'


'Yes, it must be that he feels embarrassed to see his ex-fiancée! So, he is avoiding her!'


As soon as this reason came into her mind, Ebony pulled Lloyd directly and said, "What are you doing outside? Sit down!"


Lloyd froze. He looked at the girl. But in the end, he sat down.


Ebony then took the initiative to take Lloyd's hand.


Lloyd looked at her with slight consternation.


Regardless of Lloyd's astonishment, Ebony held his hand very tightly!


Ebony had now decided that she would help Lloyd to win this battle!

The man looked at her with a calm and natural smile, saying, "Well, it does seem good."


Ebony said deliberately, "Buy some when we get home later. I'll make you a steamed sugar pear. You will have a sweet dream if you have something sweet before you go to bed."
