Chapter 214 Watching The Ghost
The dormitory keeper was instantly stunned.
Justin and Moses felt shocked, too.
If the dormitory keeper had suspected the principal when the first girl, Nancy died, she would have reported his offense to the police after she died?
If the principal had been arrested at the beginning, he wouldn't have been able to persecute the other five girls, would he?
If the principal had not been arrested, did it mean that the dormitory keeper had never called the police?
For an instant, Ebony, Justin, and Moses all looked at the dormitory keeper!
The keeper was silent for a moment, and then wiped the blood on her forehead with a tissue. She said helplessly, "I called the police, but he was released after being detained for several days. The police said there was no evidence..."
Ebony squinted, "They had no evidence every time?"
The dormitory keeper lowered her head and said, "Yes."
Ebony asked, "Did you call the police anonymously?"
Ebony stared at the keeper and observed her for a while. She then nodded and remained silent.
At this time, Moses asked, "Madam, can you tell us what you know in detail?"
The dorm keeper crumpled the tissue in her hand and looked at them. She asked, "What do you want to know?"
And then, the dormitory keeper told them everything about it in the past five years.
What she said was basically the same as what was in the diary.
She briefed the whole thing. Her daughter died five years ago. She suffered terribly and endured hardships. Finally, she came to this school and worked as a dormitory keeper here. However, she found the principal, a pervert, relapsed into his old ways three years ago. Just like what he had done to her daughter, he did the same thing to the other young girls who were new in the school.
The dormitory keeper had reminded those girls, but they didn't listen to her, so tragedies happened again and again.
When it came to the end, the phone of the accommodation office rang.
She answered the phone and spoke to the one who was on the phone. And then, she said to them, "I'll go out for a while. It's too late now. Go back to your dormitory."
She stood up and went out while speaking.
Justin and Moses didn't stop her because they knew it was the end of the current plot and the non-player character would quit.
After the dormitory keeper left, Moses said, "I think we've organized all the information and the story behind it is also clear now. The ringleader should be the principal, Vance Hughes. What should we do? Will we search for the evidence to send him to prison?"
Justin pondered for a while and nodded, "Yes. I think we'll complete the game task if we find the evidence."
At this time, Ebony glanced at Justin and then at Moses.
She smacked her lips and asked, "Do you mean that?"
They were stunned and looked at her, "Huh?"
Ebony shook her head and stood up. She then walked straight out and said, "Go to room 444 and have a look."
At the door of room 444 on the fourth floor.
They were looking at the locked door in front of them.
Justin frowned, "It seems that we'll have to find the key first and the key may be..."
"Bang!"
Both Justin and Moses were startled.
They turned their heads at the same time and looked at Ebony beside them who had kicked in the door.
Ebony fanned the ash in the air with her hand. She narrowed her eyes and looked inside.
After that, she didn't enter it but said, "It's right as I expected."
Justin looked at her, "What?"
Ebony sneered, "This is not room 444 at all."
"Not 444?" Moses was stunned. He pointed at the room number and said, "Yes, it is."
Ebony thought Moses's brain wasn't functioning.
She said, "It's written in the diary that the last person who lived in dormitory 444 was Rue. Rue died three months ago. Do you think anybody lived in this abandoned house three months ago since it was so messy? No one has lived here for at least five or six years!"
Moses suddenly realized it!
After understanding it, he quickly turned his head and began to look at the room numbers of the other rooms.
He checked all the numbers and then said, "Why is there no room 443 or 445 on this floor?"
If they could find room 443 or 445, they could at least judge which one was the real room 444.
But now, rooms 443, 444, and 445 seemed to have disappeared.
Ebony was not surprised. She said, "The room number has been changed."
Moses frowned, "Who did it? Vance?"
The corners of Ebony's mouth moved.
She suddenly stretched out her hand and slapped Moses's head and scolded, "Are you a fool? Dormitories must be managed by the dormitory keeper. No principal is so free to manage the room number of girls' dormitories."
Justin was stunned. He was a bit unhappy and pulled Moses to himself. He then looked at Ebony's eyes and said, "Miss Gibson, you can tell him your thoughts but please don't beat him."
Ebony got stunned.
Moses got stunned, too.
Moses got away from Justin's hand and said hesitantly, "Never mind. I'm willing to be slapped."
Justin got nothing to say.
Ebony put both hands in her pockets. She curled her lips and said, "Haven't you found anything wrong? The story that the dormitory keeper told just now seems to be interesting but actually, she missed the most important thing."
Moses asked eagerly, "What?"
Ebony glanced at him and said, "She kept talking about how the principal killed those girls, but don't forget, the first page of her diary is room 444 will be opened again. And she worried the thing that happened in the past will happen again. There's a secret in room 444 but she never mentioned what the secret is!"
Moses said, "The secret may be her daughter lived in room 444 before?"
Ebony shook her head, "Whether her daughter lived in room 444 has nothing to do with its secret. After all, the principal didn't only persecute girls living in room 444. The other three girls who were killed by him didn't live in room 444."
Moses felt confused after Ebony explained it. He asked, "So, what on earth is going on here?"
In the chief monitor room backstage.
The assistant director was looking at the girl who confirmed her suspicion in the monitor camera with surprise on his face. He said, "I didn't expect the smartest one is her."
After saying that, he turned off the interphone and turned to look at the scriptwriter. He said, "At the beginning, I thought the smartest person among them must be Justin since he graduated from a top university and has rich experience. But I didn't expect that he didn't think of some issues while Ebony could."
The scriptwriter said with high spirits, "Let's make a bet. How long will they work it out?"
The assistant director looked at the time and said, "Before dawn."
The scriptwriter laughed and said, "I think it will be worked out within an hour!"
The assistant director was taken aback, "Do you believe in Ebony so much?"
The scriptwriter shrugged. He pointed to the monitor camera and said, "You will see."
A swarm of ghosts appeared again.
Ghosts were actually not scary, after all, they had taken off their makeup.
However, because the ghosts came, the lights in the dormitory were suddenly turned off again!
And then, the terrifying sound effects from all directions sounded again!
"Ah ah ah!"
Ebony was almost scared to death!
How brave she was when there was light. How cowardly when no light!
She immediately ran behind Moses and Justin and grabbed their clothes. She was afraid to show her head.
A lot of ghosts slowly floated in front of Ebony.
Ebony still buried her head behind Moses and Justin and didn't go out.
Moses shouted, "Miss Gibson, say something. They only listen to you."
Ebony turned on the flashlight tremblingly. She then turned it around to the ghosts who were across from them and asked, "Are you all here?"
No one answered her.
Ebony said, "If you're all here, number off from Rita."
Rita didn't say anything.
Justin pressed his forehead and turned back to remind, "Miss Gibson, they can't speak."
The ghosts were silent.
Justin and Moses didn't say anything.
The assistant director and the scriptwriter were speechless.
The assistant director looked at the scriptwriter and asked
faintly: "This is the person you believe in?"
The scriptwriter got nothing to say.
At the same time, in the encampment in country Y.
As soon as Major Hunter opened the tent curtain, he saw a man lying on the sick bed with a cold expression on his face. His arm was swathed in bandages and he was holding a cell phone to keep swiping it.
Major Hunter felt sad when seeing it and persuaded, "Forget it. You won't see the caller ID even if you are glued to your phone since she will not call you."
Lloyd's dark eyes raised. He put down the phone and asked coldly, "What's up?"
Major Hunter curled his lips and said, "I just bring you something."
While saying it to Lloyd, Major Hunter threw the satellite signal explorer put in his pocket to him.
Lloyd took it with one of his hands and got stunned when he saw what it was.
Major Hunter said, "Captain Shriver of squad three said he was grateful to you for saving him. He feels sorry that your arm got hurt because of him. He manages to get it for you in order to repay you. It has fallen into disuse for the frontline soldiers. Don't worry and use it as you wish."
Military satellite signal explorers were able to search for the military satellite network. Although the fluctuation was relatively big, it could also search for the network in the wilderness where there was not any network.
Major Hunter left after giving it to Lloyd.
After he left, Lloyd was looking at the explorer in his hand and was silent. He then turned on the switch on it. The red light was on.
Two minutes later, Lloyd entered the live stream, The Ghost.
After the screen was black for a while, it finally could be seen.
Lloyd finally saw Ebony since he hadn't seen her for long.
A faint smile appeared on his face but it didn't go deeply into his eyes.
He suddenly saw a terrified girl hiding behind two tall men.
Lloyd was puzzled.
She seemed to be very frightened. Her body was quite close to the two men and her slender hands were tugging at their clothes respectively.
Lloyd was more puzzled.
She was tugging at their clothes very tightly. It couldn't be tighter anymore. She used great strength as if she would pull off the two men's clothes and pounce on them to hold them!
Lloyd was totally puzzled.
